Ellie wasnât sure what was going on with the man in front of her, but she was interested. Something seemed⌠Different about him. âWell, good on Constance for keeping you all on your toes.â She replied, nodding towards the big a little. When he started with the names, she just quietly stood there, letting him ramble on. He could seriously be this nervous, could he? âYou know what?â She asked, curious as to what he and the pig mightâve been talking about. âAnyway, I would rather not be the second. Iâll just take the name at this point.âÂ
âOh I was talking to the pig...â Tucker mentally slapped himself when he heard what he said outloud. âI mean I know she canât understand me, but in her own way she does and she just....Iâll stop. Iâm just gonna....â He sighed and shook his head, âI have to take Constance on a walk, would you like to just join us. We can walk you to wherever youâre headed?â
âSo it doesnât happen often?â She questioned rhetorically. She didnât remember hearing much about pigs being on the loose, so sheâd only assume ti didnât happen that often. âIâve never known pigs to have such thoughts about blocking walk ways. Granted though, I havenât spent a ton of time around pigs.â Ellie remembered some instances of pigs being the cover for the places sheâd fight in, but she never hung around them much. His statement made her want to shutter, but she stopped herself. He didnât seem like someone who would be trying to make a play, but she always knew looks were deceiving. âHm, thank you. It was my grandmothers.âÂ
His face turned a darker shade of red and he shrugged, âI mean...Well you see pigs are smart, well smarter then most people give them credit for. And I mean itâs not just pigs that escape. All sorts of animals escape. I mean not at the zoo, just...just Constance...But sheâs umm....well sheâs Constance, so she constantly does it....â He tried to laugh but it came out more of a cough. âGrandmotherâs...thatâs nice. Itâs weird though right. Boys are always named with Jr. or the Second or something like that but girls arenât. You could be Ellie the Second if you wanted. I donât know my dadâs name, he could have been named Tucker, and I could be Tucker the second but who knows.â The pig nudged him again. âYeah, I know.â He said to her.Â
âWouldnât be the oddest thing I was offered.â She commented with a shrug of her shoulders. You meet some weird people around the world. âEven the most pampered need some time to get away.â Ellie lived a life of being a pampered child, but she even left it as soon as she could. She didnât want to deal with all that came with it, but maybe the pig was living a nicer life. She seemed to have someone who cared for her. Listening to him, her brow quirked a bit before she laughed at his words. She looked at Constance before speaking to the pig. âIs he always this nervous?â She questioned before looking back to the man in front of her. âDonât worry about it. Iâm sure you didnât mean for her to be blocking the way. Iâm Ellie, by the way.âÂ
His brows furrowed wondering what on earth she could have been talking about but he pressed the thought aside. âI canât have anymore pigs run away, Iâm going to real about that.â The pink oinked and moved towards his legs nudging him. âConstance. Stop that. I think she meant to block the way cause sheâs sort of tempermental that way, but I didnât mean for her to do it. No one means for a pig to block the walkway.â He smiled. âEllie, thatâs a pretty name.â
âHonestly, I donât know whatâs going with this situation, so you couldâve.â Ellie commented, sighing as she stood there and watched the man put the leash on the pig. Walking up to them, she crouched down in front of the pig before speaking. âDonât worry Constance, a girl has to have her freedom.â She gave the pig a small scratch before standing up straight once more. âYou all good here?â Ellie asked the man standing in front of her.
âDo guys just offer you fruit that you think someone would be offering you apples?â Tucker reached down to scratch the pig behind the ears and she oinked again. âConstance is one pampered piggy, I promise you, sheâs got more freedom then most. She just likes to get out and about.â He stood up and smiled âSorry about that again.â His cheeks flushed bright red and a hand scratched behind his head. âHopefully you donât find more pigs. Although, you should because they are great animals, smart and loving, well trained if you take care of them and totally reliable. So are dogs but pigs, just pigs....â he started to ramble. âThis is Constance and Iâm Tucker. Again. Sorry.â
Luckily for Ellie, she only had one headphone in and was able to hear when the man told her to stop. She looked over to the pig and waited as he continued to talk to the pig. âWell, yay me. I get to have apples tonight.â She replied sarcastically, sighing as she stayed where she stood. âSo, are you going to pick up the pig, or we just going to stand here staring at each other until someone decides to move?â She questioned, now looking at the pig just sitting on the sidewalk.Â
Tucker looked at the pig and scoffed a laugh. âShe thinks sheâs getting apples tonight.â The pig lifted her head and oinked before laying back down. âDo I look like I could pick up a full grown pig. Iâve got her leash right here.â He rolled his eyes and moved to the animal. âAlright Constance, time to go home, we are the ladyâs way.â He slipped the collar and leash on. âNow turn around and apologize to her.â
tucker stared down the animal, hands out and a little annoyed. âi donât know why youâre tryinâ to run away. cause itâs nice there, you get food, baths, i read you stories. but the one moment someone leaves the gate open....â shaking his head. looking up to see a figure and tucker raised his hand slightly. âdonât scare her.â the pig oinked and tucker rolled his eyes. âno. donât get an attitude with me. youâre going back home to your family, no stop these games, youâre blocking people. and there will be no apples for you tonight if you keep this up.â the pig finally plopped down and tucker sighed. âsorry, her.â he called out.
âUhh, I mean thatâs not the worlds worst decision in the world, but itâs not illegal, per say..â Cooper thought over the plan at hand, whether or not he was being over dramatic wasnât for sure. Maybe going on a small adventure wouldnât be the end of the world, after all, all he did was work and sleep.
Leaning against the wall the zookeeper shrugged and sighed. âListen I just needed the opinion. The farm is abandoned, no one is taking care of the animals and Iâve got room at the petting zoo. I canât stand to see the poor creatures out there all alone.â Crossing his arms, Tucker waited for an answer. âItâs not totally illegal right?â
thatâs tucker caer walking down the street, the thirty year old, who looks like sebastian stan. here in apple peak, work as a zookeeper. some say he acts like taran from the black cauldron, since he/she/they can be courageous , but also a little bit foolish.

meet tucker aka taran from the black cauldron, ya know that one movie that disney forgets about. well disney i remember. i remember.
tucker grew up on a small farm under the care of the the townâs local crazy old man.Â
he never knew what happened to his parents, how he ended up on the farm, but it was all he knew and to him it honestly didnât matter.
the only man had a penchant for storytelling, and tuckerâs head was filled with knights and damsels, all he wanted was to be a hero.Â
and then their was the story about the pig
from the time he was a child tucker heard stories about how special one of the pigs was. and at first he went along with the stories but as he grew older tucker mostly got exasperated by them.
but when the pig went missing(due to his own foolishness) tucker had to track the pig down. he was a teenager.
tracking the pig led to some strange encounters with people. a lot of the time the people he met were just as strange and eccentric as the old man, but it was those moments that tucker learned just because some people were strange, they still deserved kindness.
he learned the sacrifice of giving up a dream in order save someone else. that lesson changed him forever.Â
after returning home(with the damn pig) he looked at the world differently.Â
however over the next few years the town started to grow smaller and smaller and it wasnât long before someone was knocking on the door of the farm to buy it.Â
tucker refused but the old man had decided that he was going to sell the farm and it was time for tucker to see the world.Â
tucker ended up in apple peak and now works as a zookeeper and he loves his job
