Long, straight, double-edged blade of hexagonal section, with deep fuller on both sides at the base, marked "N B D N B D N B D"; tang with beautiful “CAINO” marking and "OT" mark surmounted by a three-pointed crown. Iron hilt, quillon with straight quillons with shaped heads, three ring guards extending from the two arms of the hilt; guard shaped as a crescent at the ends, one side with a hemispherical fuller; counterguard with four loop guards.
