It was like 1 sec each of pure gazing upon the other

But honestly Makoto what the heck are you wearing ? Is that a tourist mom purse ?? Why.

I'm a little disappointed that they didn't talk about deep things about themselves but well.

Makoto actually took Rin out to the Aquarium because he was dying to show him the "dog shark"

MakoRin for Chinese Oral Exam

Hi so I was studying chinese for a bit and for my oral exam, I need to talk about my favorite movie. As dumb as it sounds, I couldn't think of anything but free and MakoRin so yes

I legit just fangirled about my OTP for my chinese oral exam... #noregrets

In the end I got pretty good :D

Just posting my script here because I almost lost it

I find it so funny how weird some names sound in chinese. Rin is still Rin. Makoto is Zhen Qin. Haru is Yao like. Like what even x'D and Nagisa is Zhu

My script:

老师好！今天我想介绍一部电影。这是一部日本的动画电影，叫做free。它主要在说一群游泳运动员的故事。小学时，遥，凛,真琴和渚都是好朋友。主角是遥，是一个很有天分的运动员。他的对手是凛，凛一直梦想站在奥运会的赛场上。

尽管凛一直努力练习游泳，他还是没法超越遥。他又去了澳大利亚训练，可是遥还是游得比他好。凛因此想要放弃游泳。他回到日本的时候不愿意和遥,真琴和渚说话。真琴劝他继续和朋友们一起游泳，他最终被说服了，继续追逐着自己的梦想。

一年之后，凛，遥和真琴快要毕业了。凛和遥想要去参加奥运会，可是真琴觉得自己的水平还不够，并不想参加奥运会。但他也不知道他自己要做什么。凛告诉他他的水平完全够格。真琴听到他的话非常感激，因为这是他第一次听到这样的评价。可他最终还是决定要做一个游泳老师。

我很喜欢这部电影因为我很欣赏凛和真琴的友谊。他们的性格非常互补。真琴总是可以让雄心勃勃的凛冷静下来，而凛也会帮真琴变得更加自信。

My chinese is nowhere that good. My chinese roommate helped me and in the last paragraph (where i tried to explain why i like makorin dynamics), we had to discuss back and forth wat is it tht i wnt to convey x'D so hard to find the right words and i was getting embarrassed cos le feels. This is way too personal hahahahahahahhaha -shot-

But yea. So now with this script. I can preach MakoRin to a bigger audience hahahahahaha x'D why am i like this

High Key Desperate MakoRin in S3 :'D

So hi. Remember in season 2 epi 9 when Rin acknowledged Makoto's skills when nobody else does?

And then look at Makoto now in season 3 volunteering himself to take on Hiyori’s challenge

oh. Oh. Oh.

What do we have here? Could this be hidden and so far only trace of MakoRin in season 3 ??

Natsuya x Hiyori ?

Hi so I know a lot of people are hating on Hiyori but after seeing free! S3 episode 6, I'm starting to ship Natsuya x Hiyori and I know, I KNOW Natsuya x Nao is pretty much canon but like ... is anyone out there with me ?? :'D

From all the ships in Free, I only ship MakoRin and SouMomo. I think I'm born to eternally be in rarepair hell.

Also, it's kinda hard for me to ship Natsuya x Hiyori cos Natsuya x Nao is pretty much MakoRin under disguise. I'm so confused 0.0 this is probably just a whim thing ... probably

So the new free! season is here and I’m just here to publicly say my prayers on there being a MakoRin scene this season. KyoAni has been nice, giving us one MakoRin scene of about 20 seconds but still each season so I’m ... waiting on it this season :’D

Ost: words that changed my life

^ title of the ost of this scene. Second makorin scene that has an OST others are too short to have an ost lol First scene to have an ost is the in season 1 epi 8 where makoto talks to rin after he jst won against haru but i cant find the ost for that ??

Okay, I don’t know what this is from but I’m literally crying right now cos since season 2 like 3 years ago (?) I have been imagining this scene over and over and over again in my head cause they just cut off the scene and didnt animate it cries

And this convo. this. It’s EXACTLY how i imagined it plus more things i never dared to hope for :’) and the scene is more aesthetically pleasing than i imagined too. My second favorite makorin scene aesthetics (the first is the similar makoto calling rin in s1 epi 2. Same rin room but makoto was in front of a more beautiful sea star landscape) ‪they're actually very similar and they even panned to rin's table first. The table where previously rin just left makoto's voicemail play but now the table is empty cos rin actually picked up the call.‬

I started shipping makorin as a joke but now it has literally tken over my life. Like, its my ship of all times. Gosh how did i even get here x’D i think its been 5 years now x’D
