Pearl: “U-Uh so… H-Hi everybody! I decided to start this whole blog to uhhh… Document my new life in the Splatlands. I just turned 13 recently (so yay! Happy Birthday to me!)
I guess you can also ask me questions since I know I’m an “interesting creature.” But… Papa’s told me I’m perfectly fine… I know I’m weird, still…
So uh yea! If you have any questions about me (such as my heritage, or why I’m an inkling with octoling eyes…) I’ll do my best to answer!”

Pearl: “Oh hi mommy! I’m posting an introduction to my blog, nothing much-“
Marie: “… Pearlie, you gotta be careful with these types of blogs, ok? You might get something weird… I just want you to be safe, ok?”
Pearl: “But mommy, I’m 13! I can handle it…”
Marie: *Sigh* “Still, let’s lay some ground work down for this little blog, just to keep you safe, ok?”
Pearl: “Mmmok fine.”
Marie: “Good, anyways, for all of you asking my daughter on this blog…”

>> Asking her questions that she is comfortable enough to answer are fine (such as “how’s school going?”)
Marie: “Now, Pearlie… Is it also alright if people ask about your heritage?”
Pearl: “I’m fine with that… Just as long people aren’t mean about it.”
Marie: “… You don’t have to answer every question about your heritage if you don’t want to, ok?”
Pearl: “Ok.”
(Note: If there are ANY hateful or rude comments that do ask about the lore, but are just straight up “This lore is weird! Pearl shouldn’t be Crusty Sean and Marina’s kid yadda yadda-“ then they will simply be deleted from the inbox.)

2. Pearl may need some time to rest for answering!
>> Pearl might need to do some homework, or even some time to rest from answering. So please be considerate of her time! She’ll give status updates to let everyone know when she’s ready to answer questions.
Pearl: “… I already have school to think about, so yea…”
