Life’s been rough.
Finals have been a pain in my ass, as well as the process of leaving our home and native land to venture the streets of the UK. After today things should shape up and I’ll be on ready to give you some of the best music out there as well as review some amazing Toronto bands. CMW is almost around the corner and you will definitely hear more things about the Toronto Music Scene so keep an eye out.
JP Cooper - We Were Raised Under Grey Skies
Raleigh Ritchie - Stronger Than Ever
Song of the week!
London Grammar - Flickers
*I wish I could find an audio version for you guys! I’ll keep a look out*
LONDON GRAMMAR
I stumbled upon London Grammar a late night in the summer of 2013. You know those nights when you meaninglessly explore all kinds of parts of Youtube? I’d have to say discovering this band was no mistake at all. They blew up from the time being and I’ve been keeping myself updated with their music.
It’s no lie that Hannah Reid is an amazing singer, her voice is hypnotizing and echoing. Her voice is memorizing with an undertone of something unique. Whatever it is, I can’t stop listening! But, I won’t just focus on the singer as we so often do. The trio works together perfectly. The voice, drums and guitar just leave a satisfying feeling after every song.
If you haven’t heard any of London Grammar’s music, I’d recommend Flickers, Nightcall & Wasting my young years. I’ll post Flickers since I can’t seem to turn the song off. Overall London Grammar is an amazing band if you’re looking for some new music. I’d recommend any of you to go check them out, they might end up being one of your favourites.

I want to wish a late Happy Easter to everyone! I was with some family and it was great, but I was unable to come on yesterday. Expect to see some new stuff today! REMEMBER The 24th is a day worth looking forward to!
Jhené Aiko - Spotless Mind
Snow Patrol - The Lightning Strike (What If The Storm Ends?)
