Do not kill Gaza with silence. The tragedy here is crushing, beyond the news you see on your screens. Do not suffocate the quiet cries of children with silence.
While the world is busy with new wars and analyses, the crossings into Gaza are closed and food is blocked from entering.
We are bombed almost every day… in silence. The hardest part is feeling that no one hears our cries anymore. As if this silence is exactly what the world wants.
In other places, people run to shelters when missiles fall. But in Gaza… we have no shelters at all. Nothing protects us from Israeli missiles…and nothing protects us from the ballistic missiles crossing the sky above us.
Amid this fear, rising prices, and closed crossings, we fear hunger returning more than anything. We are only trying to secure a little food for our children in these difficult days. Any help or even sharing can help a family in Gaza survive.

Remember Gaza, even a little… it means a lot to those who live it every day.
#644 on gazavetters!
Whoever has three hearts that feel for our children, please help us.
In Gaza, our days pass between fear and hope.
Our children still dream of simple things: safety, food, and a quiet night. We are doing everything we can to protect them with what little we have. If you see this, please help our story reach more hearts.
We have no shelters… and no homes left to hide in with our children.
We have no money to store food if hunger returns… and we know it will.
This is not Gaza’s war… it is an Israeli, Iranian, and American war.
But we are the ones living it with no protection… and no choices.
I look into my children’s eyes and see fear before I even hear the missiles.
They run to me not to escape… but to ask one question: Where do we go?
And I have no answer.
We see missiles in the sky… we hear the warplanes… we watch the war above us every day.Yet we are not even part of it… and still no one protects us from it.
We are just families trapped under a sky full of fire.No shelters… no warning… no safe place… only waiting and fear.
With crossings closed and prices rising… we fear hunger returning more than anything. We are only trying to secure the minimum… some food… some safety… some life for our children.

If you can help or share… this is not ordinary support. It is protection for children who may face hunger again.
If you can do one thing today… let it be helping fasting children in Gaza.
Their fasting is not only a choice, but a reality already shaped by hunger. Your support, or even sharing this post, could mean a child finally finds real food waiting at iftar. Help if you can… and be the reason a child’s table is warm at sunset.
Ramadan enters Gaza this year like the punishment of Tantalus.
Food is in front of us, but we cannot reach it. Markets are full, but pockets are empty.
Children see what they want… but they cannot have it.
Do you know the myth of Tantalus?
Water touches his lips, but when he tries to drink, it disappears. Fruit hangs above him, but when he reaches, it moves away.
This is not a myth here. This is daily life in Gaza. The pain is not only hunger.
The pain is children seeing food with their own eyes… and going home with nothing.
The world thinks the war is over.
But we are living a new chapter of suffering. Seeing everything. Owning nothing. We are only trying to provide simple food for our children this Ramadan.

Any support you give could mean a real meal for a fasting child waiting for sunset.
Tumblr’s like button is a festive surprise! 🎄 While you enjoy the magic, please spare a thought (and a click) for my son’s healing journey. We are fighting to raise funds for his surgery. Your support is the best gift we could ask for.
Please share, like and Donate if you can
Today, Angelina Jolie arrived near Gaza as news reports speak about a possible reopening of the Rafah crossing. For the world, this is diplomacy and headlines.
For my family, this could be the thin line between staying trapped in a tent , or finally escaping it. If Rafah opens, this may be our only chance to leave the cold, the fear, and the nights our children cry themselves awake.
This news is not political for us. It is about our children sleeping in a tent. About cold nights, rain, illness, and fear.If Rafah opens, we may finally be able to move them somewhere safer, but only if we can afford the cost of leaving.
All the help and appeals before were temporary. They were only to keep my children alive, food, blankets, protection from the cold. But today this is not temporary help. Leaving is the chance for real survival
If the door opens this may be our only chance to save our children. from the tent, from fear, from illness, from another night we may not survive .Those who help us today are not just easing pain. they are helping save us completely
Please help us survive

hey y'all. sorry i haven't been more active lately, life has been kicking my ass. between december bringing with it a drought of commissions, getting really sick, some surprise bills we need to pay and my sister finding an abandoned puppy in the aftermath of the cyclone (did i mention we got hit by a cyclone?) that we are now fostering while we look for a permanent home for it, it's just been one fucking thing after the other.
things are kinda dire right now, so any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

the nearest depiction of an animal or other sentient fantasy creature to you at this moment comes to life right where it is (i.e. cat photograph, shark plushie, dragon painting, etc)
what happens to you
i am so dead
i need to go to the hospital
maybe a few things to be looked at but i’m fine in the end
i’m totally fine
i’m totally fine and i’m happy
my situation is really really really specific lemme tell you about it

assume it doesn’t know you (unless it’s actually a specific animal you’ve met) and that it’s normal for its species and would do whatever was natural for it. including being too giant for and destroying the room it’s in. as well as dying immediately if its environment can’t support its life
Twitter (X) is following Tumblr’s steps.
Like the post and you’ll see it.❄️
And if you enjoyed this moment,
maybe help a family in Gaza start their year with a little hope 🤍
Four children are living through winter without safety, warmth, or certainty, trying to survive when they should simply be kids.
If you’re celebrating this New Year,
consider letting them celebrate with yo🤍
This could be the most meaningful celebration they receive.

You know that Mr Rogers thing of ‘look for the helpers’? How many times has someone, facing the end, done something tiny and fragile and maybe hopeless just to try and help someone else? Whether it works or not. How many people went to their graves at least trying?
That has to say something about us. As a people. As monstrous as we sometimes (perhaps often) are, so many times we were also …
Whoever saves one life, saves the whole world.
And sometimes you can’t save one life, sometimes it doesn’t work, sometimes there’s no getting out of this for anyone, but … try anyway. Because it matters anyway.
And maybe no one will ever know. But maybe also some day more than a century down the line, maybe some idiot will be crying into her coffee because of what you died trying.
Sometimes helping isn’t heroic. It’s quiet, ordinary, and unseen. But choosing not to look away — especially when it would be easier — is still a form of responsibility.
I write calmly because panic won’t keep my children warm. We live in a tent. Winter rain seeps in Amir is sick from the cold . If you choose to help, the link is here .

Are you afraid to speak?
My four children have been subjected to extermination; they have the right to live like any other child in the world. Every silence around us is a partnership in the crime. If Ms. Rachel found the courage, what stops you?
If you believe what Ms. Rachel says, that every child deserves to be seen as equal, then you must believe that my children are just like any other children in the world.
So I ask you honestly:
Are my children like any other children in the world?!
Yes, your four children deserve life.
No, I will not answer, I am afraid and will remain silent.
Yes, even now, the killing continues, the starvation continues, and the shooting continues. As I write this post, the Zionist occupation forces are firing at tents. and what remains of the houses. This is terrifying and horrific. Please save us from this genocide. Please donate to us.
Do you have the courage to support us, to speak about us, to share this?Because silence is not neutrality. Silence is permission.
My family in Gaza has lived all these meanings. For two years we have been displaced again and again, carrying only blankets, hope, and each other. We no longer have a stable shelter, but we are trying to stay alive. you can support my family’s ❤️

Oh man the war is finally over yes this sentence is more like the word game over Saying the game is over is very easy, but saying the war is over costs a lot of lives, homes, days and loved ones.
I am very happy that I no longer hear the sound of explosions and I did not see the planes flying over my head to bomb my house. I was literally living in a game, a game of killing and destruction, but it was realistic and was broadcast around the earth in the highest quality. I lost my loved ones, my life and my home. These photos in this post were taken today from above the rubble of my house.
I won't go on for long. I want to ask you guys to share this post and donate to help me and my family get out of Gaza and build a new, happy life. We will make up for everything we lost over the past two years. So please don't leave my post until you have donated, even if you have 5 euros. It would help me a lot and I am very close to my goal.
the co-founder of 'crips for esims for gaza' and disability advocate, alice wong, has died according to her twitter account.
alice's disability advocacy naturally led her to palestine solidarity as the quote from the blog post announcing 'crips for esims' illustrates:
We also recognize that everyone in Gaza is now disabled due to the massive number of deaths, new disabilities, life-threatening illnesses and destruction of medical facilities going on. Such destruction also debilitates the land, water, and air, which will impact Palestinians and all surrounding life for generations to come. We owe our kin in Palestine to throw sand on the gears of genocide with our every breath. [source: the disability visibility project]
since december 2023, crips for esims for gaza has raised well over $3.1M and bought and maintained over 5,000 esims, undoubtedly saving lives.
in the past few days there has been intense winter flooding in gaza. donate to honor alice wong's memory–to keep people connected, to give disabled people the tools to advocate for themselves, to refuse to let palestine be silenced.
Crips for eSims for Gaza is a collaboration between Jane Shi, Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha, and Alice Wong.
I need you to stop what you're doing. Stop playing your game, stop reading your book, stop listening to your music. I need you, all of you, please, to go and help palestinians. Right now and in the future. I need you to help them because they need our help, our help to survive the horrible conditions created by israel.
Please, do something for those who need it, today.
My friend Abdalrhman has had, very understandably, a hard few years. He’s had to battle things hardly any of us have even come close to dealing with. Bombs, bullets, the destruction of his home, a famine, he has had to brave them all, and has lived through them all. I ask you to please, please, help him.
Hello, I'm Abdelrahman, 22 years old. My journey has been… Abdallah Alanqar needs your support for Help Abdelrahman Rebuild His Future –
Please don't abandon us, don't leave us. We need your support and donations. You are our safety net; we have no one but you to stay well. Please donate to us. Please don't leave us.
Why is everyone ignoring us when we desperately need support? Please don't abandon us. Please stop for a minute and help us. Please donate to us
My friends in Gaza, there are no signs of life left. We are struggling against time and the passing days to get out of here and stay alive. Please donate. Your donations help us immensely. Please don't abandon us.
Hey everyone, please don't ignore us. Help us. We want to live. We're tired of this miserable life under the shadow of this war. Please don't stop sharing and donating. Please
Take a stance and be on the right side of history, so that when you look in the mirror, you know you didn’t ignore the pleas of innocent people, begging for anyone to help them! To know that you where not complicit in the murder and genocide of a people! To know that you didn’t look the other way when you knew children where being murdered just because it was easier than facing the morbid truth!! Share, reblog and donate what you can!!
Is it possible that after two years of genocide, after everything we owned was destroyed and our city turned into ruins and a city of ghosts… you choose to leave us now?! How can you sleep while my four children sleep surrounded by destruction . in a place now only inhabited by rats, mosquitoes, snakes… and also ghosts, darkness, and fear?
My children are still terrified of the life we live now .. after a trauma that shattered their minds and hearts, after witnessing the bombing, the massacres, the genocide scenes no child should ever see. Who will heal them? Who will bring them safety again? They need psychological care, they need someone to restore their trust in life. I’m just a father who lost everything, trying only to keep them alive.
I’m sorry that all I can do is ask for your help… This war is bigger than me . it needs countries to bear its weight, not a simple man like me. If you still see us as human beings, then do something.
Your donation isn’t just charity . it’s a humanitarian act that saves lives. Don’t underestimate your share or your repost; it could be the difference between life and death, between a child who survives and another who doesn’t. Please, don’t look away… we’re still here, trying to survive 💔
