Red Barn Arts & Crafts Festival
Branding project from last semester. I chose the tagline: Arts & Crafts & You to emphasize the community and vendor’s involvement with the festival. I also made a fully responsive website for the event.
So pumped over tonights episode!
As a side note the backgrounds in Steven Universe just blow my mind! I hope I paid them homage in a halfway decent way.
I'll post the refined, finished version of this as soon as I have time to film it with a proper camera! This project involved me projecting onto my face. Getting a new projector meant I wanted to use it any way possible!
"It's-a Me, " (7' x 30" each. ~60 hours total)
Pixel self portraits! Well. Painted pixel self portraits.
The parameters for this project were fascinating:
Must be a diptych
Must reflect a certain art movement (I chose British Pop Art)
Must be a self portrait
Must be MASSIVE (At least 7 feet tall)
This took forever to do. I was able to refine my process throughout this project immensely though! I learned not to use painters tape with oil paint, as well as how to mix up enough paint so as not to run out (this was a huge issue throughout!) I wish that I could have achieved brighter colors with the paint I was using. I would probably use acrylic paint next time. My favorite part is how you need to stand a huge distance away to get the full effect.

Fun basketball standings infograph I had the pleasure of making.
Page designs for The Index.
I tried to reflect Matt & Kim's newest album design into the first page. I wanted to evoke a breakfast, diner feel with the second layout. And I have a weakness for making fun vectors.
My final Motion Graphics piece! This was such a challenge to make, but I enjoyed it greatly.Â
The project asked us to make a motion infographic.
Had the pleasure of working with newly rebranded Giant Hat on their logo!Â
Check out their new site here! Expect great things from these folks.
Click to avoid the terrible job tumblr does at resizing pixel art.
I couldn't not draw this guy.
(3' x 11" x 11") Made with cardboard found all over campus, cut down, glued together, then cut into with w grinder.
Mailer for the A11 Design Contest & Exhibition. Two color.
Starts as an 8.5' x 5.5' and unfolds to 22′ x 34’!
Very interesting project!Having such a large canvas and then making it unfold logically was very cool to figure out. I will post pictures of the final printout later.
