Excerpt:
He glanced down at where he stood, directly in the center, where a bright red circle marked its place, like a target.
She began to slowly walk around him, circling him, she smirked, it was like a predator taunting its prey watching it squirm under the uncomfortable and dangerous situation.
“Lissette…” He followed her with his eyes, “what’re you doing?”
“Nothing.” Though her smile was sweet, her eyes glinted with mischief.
“Then what exactly are we doing here?” He was growing weary, he opted not to move and just followed her voice, which bounced off the walls and back into his chest, causing goosebumps to appear on his arms.
“If you really think your way of combat is ‘correct’ then prove it,” Her smirk somehow grew even bigger and she raised her fists, “show me what you got, Soldier.”
