final week (six)
"A lifestyle change begins with a vision and a single step." -Jeff Calloway Â
6 weeks ago, I started this challenge. At the moment, it seemed like a total breakthrough. I was stuck on what to do until a sudden spark gave me this idea. It seemed like the perfect choice, something I could write about. In addition to that, it could also make my life better. With a great mindset, I knew for sure that I would succeed. Over the course of the last 6 weeks, there were many ups and downs. However, there were also many achievements that I'm very proud of. I've learned lots of things from this experience, but 3 things really stood out to me. First, it’s very hard to persevere on something you’re not interested in. In the end, this project became a drag for me. I knew I had to finish it, but I was very reluctant and came up with lots of excuses to delay. Number two, changing habits is difficult. If you’ve done something your whole life, and suddenly opted to improve one day, chances are, you’ll fail. You really have to have the dedication and work for it. I tried to do that in this project, and ultimately, I wasn’t very successful. Change doesn’t come overnight. And lastly, life is busier than you might think. As you know, I had to blog and bullet journal mostly in my own time. Most weeks, I was struggling to get both of them done on time. There was always some event, or lesson, or other things I had to do. Even if you think your life is different, if you look deeper, you’ll probably realize that it’s quite like mine. But in the end, I think that this project really taught me how to maintain self-control over myself and my actions. I know that this will help me become an even better person in the future. Thank you for following me on this journey, and hopefully, you've learned something new too.
