“I want to talk about what happened without mentioning how much it hurt. There has to be a way. To care for the wounds without reopening them. To name the pain without inviting it back into me.”

Red is seen as a hot colour and blue is seen as a cold colour, yet if something glows blue because of its temperature it is hotter than something that glows red because of its temperature.
Want to follow more followers
A lot of the content I am currently following is mostly humor based, and I need more content that is based on things I’m either interested in, or will help me through current life things.
So I’m looking for the following blogs/posts that are:
- people in recovery/ people in NA/AA.
- lgbt things🏳️🌈
- autism: information and people who have, and parents experience.
- ptsd recovery things.
Thanks! 😊

So Chris and I are moving in together. In a house.
There’s a lot of emotions around this move. I’m excited- my life is coming together in terms of moving forward in my career, and having a family. I love Chris and the kids- when I’m miles away think about them often throughout the day, and tell myself that I’ll see them everyday.
I’m nervous. I don’t want to mess this up(so if I add this to a recovery/10th step inventory, this is based on fear). I want to be the best coworker, therapist, partner, and parent I can be.
I’m sad. I will miss a few close friends that I have made here. I hope they visit me and we keep in touch.
I’m happy that I’ll be able to reconnect with old friends and recovery friends. Spend time with them and make new friends at meetings together.
I’m also sad about losing my therapist, who I have two more sessions with. She has helped me a lot, and gave me insight about how ptsd symptoms show up in behaviors that I never noticed, and broke down some aspects of myself I didn’t notice(intentionally or not).
And I’m anxious/stressed because of all the technicalities and specifics about this move.
However, I am and will be sober. I celebrated 18 months of sobriety on Sunday, and I couldn’t be more grateful. And all of these great things that are happening, are ONLY occurring because I AM SOBER. And working my program the best I can- it can and will get stronger once I move back to my home state. But until then, I will ride the waves of emotions back to shore, where I will eventually find peace and serenity.
Life is better sober. Life is better when I live it to the fullest.
the more I think about my past self the more I

THIS.
Reblog if you would be comfortable living in a dormitory with an openly transgender or intersex individual. We’re working on a campaign for gender neutral housing and we could use your support.
“Forgive the past. It is over. Learn from it and let go. People are constantly changing and growing. Do not cling to a limited, disconnected, negative image of a person in the past. See that person now.”
