I love you all very much!!
I honestly believe that people who lost their childhood, teenage years to mental illness and/or trauma are so strong for still being here. Especially once you’re about 18-25 and trying to relearn how to be in society and healthy and human.
Especially when you decide to work towards getting better.
Especially when your life isn’t where you wished it would be.
Stay alive okay? If you lost your youth, I’m sorry and I’m so proud of you for still being here. Keep fighting. Your best years are ahead of you.
Tomorrow maybe? Bed Frost
Choose recovery,
Choose recovery again,
And again,
And again, and again, and again, and again.
It’s a lot easier to add healthy habits than trying to stop bad ones. Eventually you have enough healthy habits that there’s no room for the bad ones, or you just don’t wanna do them.
hi can we normalize the idea of choosing not to drink
You are recovering. You need to be kind to yourself and not forget that. Do not push away the kindness you receive, especially if it comes from yourself.
start now. start where you are. start with fear. start with pain. start with doubt. start with what you have. start and don’t stop. you can do it
Never diminish your accomplishments when it comes to staying sober. Whether you have 15 years of clean time or 15 min of clean time. Recovery is one of the hardest things you will ever go through. Every minute you don’t use is worth celebrating.
TWENTY NINE-CLEAN
Reblog if you are going into 2019 dedicated to pursuing sobriety on a daily basis!!!
let’s make this year the best we can, given what we have. progress, not perfection. We can CHOOSE to give up the substances that plague us and live free lives.
2019/Twenty nine-clean here we goooooooooooo
Reblogging this two days into the year because recovery is hard and my brain already believes I’m not an alcoholic anymore
