it’s been quite a while since I’ve come here, but just wanted to share a little bite-sized bit of something cool i’ve come across recently{:

“Give ear and hear my voice, listen and hear my speech. Does the plowman keep plowing all day to sow? Does he keep turning his soil and breaking the clods? When he has levelled its surface, does he not sow the black cummin and scatter the cummin, plant the wheat in rows, the barley in the appointed place, and the spelt in its place?

For He instructs him in right judgment, His God teaches him. For the black cummin is not threshed with a threshing sledge, nor is a cartwheel rolled over the cummin; but the black cummin is beaten out with a stick, and the cummin with a rod. Bread flour must be ground; therefore he does not thresh it forever, break it with his cartwheel, or crush it with his horsemen.

This also comes from the Lord of hosts, who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance.”

- Isaiah 28:23-29

When I first read this verse it blew my mind. Every time I read back it still kinda does. To everything there is a timing and strategy, and that wisdom comes from God alone. “For He instructs him in right judgement, His God teaches him...”  God is highly able... wonderful in counsel, excellent in guidance.  The most exciting truth is that God is WILLING to reveal his counsel and offer his guidance to us. Let it be true...

Worshipped with the song Heart of Worship tonight. Remembering that God loves a cheerful giver... not only when it comes to finances, but also in every other area. In my time, in my talents... He sees past any outward appearance; He looks into my heart. I really hope that when He looks into my heart, even right now, today,  it is a cheerful giver that He will find in me, & it will bring Him great joy....{:
