I don't know if I am glad I was right that it was all connected or if I am disappointed I saw it coming. I did not see the Hayley of it all. I figured it was going to be the other newbie in a nefarious position. At least it kept with Castle’s character, always protecting Beckett...always.

Because the love I have for this show and those two goobers keeps me coming back Monday after Monday no matter how disappointed, frustrated, etc. Dang show!

The war raging between my head and my heart...

That is suddenly what I have figured out is my deal with season 8. I am having issues with the construct so to speak, but the emotions that the pieces are evoking are more than overwhelming.

So my head is going, “wait, what? Where are my honoring the victim moments that I miss so very much? Why is she doing this to him again? What’s the point of this?”

And then my heart has fallen so hard for this couple…it breaks, soars, etc with each piece that is dangled…which is the thing a good story should evoke.

My head is saying this is not a good story, and my heart is wanting to fight me on that. That being said, I am still a more “T”(hinking) than an “F”(eeling).

Damn them for making me love them so. The whole lot of them!

Oh the feels...

I may not completely agree with the course of storytelling, (not necessarily the separation, but instead how they got there), but I will say it’s making me FEEL for the first time in a few seasons. I’m okay with that part of it.
