inuyasha, 犬夜叉 by Rumiko Takahashi.
his face killing me why he dgaf
You know what makes me sad?
The fact that Kikyou spent her entire life serving others without even a day of freedom for herself. And then the one time she thinks "Hey I'd like to settle down and this guy likes me, we could build a future for ourselves" incel supreme comes along, goes "au contraire" and kills her just because he can't get into her pants.
And then!! She gets brought back to life against her will and is forced to watch the man who for all intents and purposes was her husband-to-be fall in love with her reincarnation, a girl who is and has everything Kikyou ever wanted to be but never could.
So does she at least get a second chance at life? Nope! Instead she gets brutally killed by incel supreme again, only this time she has the advantage of dying in the arms of the man she loves, further traumatizing him! Isn't that just great?
You can dislike her all you want but fuck, Kikyou deserved better. And so did Inuyasha, for that matter.
My Kikyo 🥰
Happy Valentine’s Day!
I do not remember Inuyasha (the anime) PISSING ME OFF this much dude oh my god.
Every time Inuyasha goes off in search of Kikyo, he always has a reason for it. Either 1) he sensed her nearby 2) She summoned him, or 3) SHE'S ACTIVELY IN DANGER AND SHE COULD DIE ANY SECOND. And then these idiots say something like"ohhh look at this guy two timing with Kagome and his ex." I'M SORRY??? WAS THERE EVER A RELATIONSHIP ESTABLISHED BETWEEN KAGOME AND INUYASHA??? WHY IS INUYASHA'S PRESENCE SO IMPORTANT TO HER IN THAT EXACT MOMENT SHE'S NOT THE ONE IN DANGER.
Is the situation hurtful and conflicting to Kagome? Yeah probably. Does she communicate to Inuyasha about it? NO SHE BEATS HIM UP AND GANGS UP ON HIM WITH THE REST OF THE GROUP WHILE HE'S PROBABLY EXPERIENCING CONFLICTING EMOTIONS TOO.
The only person who spoke to Inuyasha about moving on was Kaede and that only happened once. Inuyasha keeps chasing Kikyo because he doesn't want to give up on her. I don't see anyone encouraging the idea of moving on. The on thing I see is everyone GUILTING HIM for caring about the woman he's still in love with.
every single time i re-watch inuyasha i want to punch naraku in his stupid mouth for ruining the future kikyo and inuyasha could have had. whether romantic or not, they loved each other so deeply and i'm convinced they would have remained in each other's lives no matter which choices they made.

Having someone ask ChatGPT in a meeting is like being a grown-ass professional adult in a room full of other grown-ass professional adults trying to solve a problem, while a colleague with one of those baby toys that makes animal sounds repeatedly presses the cow button. And we all have to stop what we're doing and listen to cow go moo and say "wow hm yeah that's not really what we're asking but the cow does definitely go moo, good thoughts"
"The red fire-light glowed on their two bonny heads, and revealed their faces animated with the eager interest of children [...] They lifted their eyes together, to encounter Mr. Heathcliff: perhaps you have never remarked that their eyes are precisely similar, and they are those of Catherine Earnshaw." - Wuthering Heights
This scene begged to be drawn!! Heathcliff tormented by the eyes of Catherine in the faces of her kin that he has chosen to exact his revenge on, realizing that the thing he hates is the same as the thing he loves, reflections on reflections... so good!!!
