His look of shock was replaced with a smile instead when he realized it was just his best friend Eun. He shook his head, reaching over to his camera. “No, I can always do it later, not really that important to the video. I’m just kind of goofing off really.” Cody chuckled at him, turning it off. “Ah did I ruin your chance of relaxation?” His head tilted at the other a tad bit.
“Yeah?” he said as he tilted his head and looked at the camera. “well, you’re always goofing off so that’d make sense.” he teased a little, giving him a grin that would let him know he was just kidding. Eun stuttered a lot when it came to people but that barely happened when Cody was around. “Nah” he shrugged. “I mean...I did came for relaxation but it’s better if you’re around” he admitted as he looked at his feet. “the lobby was too noisy, that’s it”
– yerin would chalk it up to some weird combination of too little and too much sleep, but she’d made FAR TOO MUCH coffee. and at midday, she barely had an excuse for those sorts of slips. it had been sheer and blatant inattention that left her with close to six servings instead of one. her tiny, restless hands fiddling at the handle of her mug in absent guilt over the thought of the waste. she felt as if she’d been on auto-pilot for DAYS – feet taking her where they may and mouth running amok. had been since her father called last, concerned with her future. but maybe she could pass it off to her housemates. make it look it look intentional – make her head feel a little less s c a t t e r e d and heavy. so at the first sounds of company, she composed herself. poured her own mug and tried to look any bit at all less wired.
“ i made coffee. if you want some, there’s plenty to share. ”
eun froze at the frame when he heard the voice of yerin come out. He was too focused on his thoughts to pay attention as he entered the kitchen. He took a quick glance at her hands and saw the small trembling in them. He could recognize it because he always got those when he got a bit too much caffeine in his system. With a small but sweet smile, eun nodded. “ah, thank you! I-I was about to make s-some for myself” He said as he walked towards the machine and grabbed a mug from the shelf. “are-are you sure it’s okay I take a bit f-from you?”
noah should know the residents of the sharehouse by now and if he wasn’t mistaken, the voice coming just outside of the living room to the dorms was eun’s. a grin crosses his features and noah shakes his head, “yeah, yeah. i’m okay. thanks for asking —” suddenly, a thought comes to mind and the boy practically jumps in his seat as he takes the sketchpad back and looks at the other with wide, hopeful eyes. “hey, do you have a minute? let’s have a talk, yeah?”
Eun asked for the other’s state out of politeness but Eun had a hard time actually conversating with Noah. He was too loud for his liking and he simply felt anxious around him. Eun nodded at his reply, his hand still stinging from the slight burn from the hot water. As the boy jumped from his seat, Eun jumped as well, taking a step back. “Uh...” Eun looked at both sides as he took a step back. “A t-talk? ah...w-why?”
One of the things that Cody did as a youtuber was daily vlog…well sort of. It was thing he started to do in the last six months and he was still getting used to it. Right now he was sitting up on the roof, one of his favorite parts of the building, filming kind of a life update section of his video…When he saw someone open the door he instantly paused. “Hey…”
Eun went to the roof a lot. He liked the sight and how it was usually quiet up there. Eun avoided loud and crowded spaces as much as he could so this was the perfect place for him. Eun opened the door carefully, just to see Cody in front of him. As he felt that he was interrupting something, he blushed. “Hey...” he mouthed as he closed the door behind him with a chuckle. Cody was the first person he met when he moved here and somehow he made eun feel comfortable. He sat next to him and swung his legs back and forth. “I’m not...interrupting, am I?” he chuckled.
Eun didn’t spend much of his time outside his small room but the weather was nice outside and he wanted to sketch a little. The only time eun enjoyed being outside was for drawing nature in his sketchbook. The boy sat down on a table outside and opened his notebook as he began to sketch. He was too focused on his drawing to notice the person near him.
the sketchpad laid on on noah’s lap is devoid of any of his familiar outlines, apart from scattered notes on corners of pages that are seemingly empty as well. he’s been sitting in the living room, eyes tuned to the television, for what seems like hours ( when in reality, it has only been five minutes ) — and he can’t grasp an idea. not even a spark. sighing, he throws the sketchpad to the coffee table across from him. “damn — can’t think for shit.”
Eun just wanted some food. He tried to keep his meals simple and unhealthy, so a cup of instant noodles was his fixing. He didn’t like to stay at the kitchen for long though. Since he was currently living on his own, Eun ate there instead of the kitchen. He placed the hot water on the cup and was about to head back to his dorm when he heard a loud thud and a scream. Eun jumped at the sudden sound and winced as a bit of the cold water fell into his hand. “Aish” he whined and looked at the other. “Uhm..a-a-are you o-okay?”

Biography
It’s hard to be the perfect son, but Eun have always tried to take that role. He’s the youngest son of Jaejoon and Hyegi Kim, two of the most recalled surgeons in Korea. When Eun was born, they were told that Eun was meant to be a bright kid, with an IQ higher than the average and his parents were thrilled. They were ready to make their son reach his full potential.
Eun was meant to spend all his time learning, soaking his mind with books, piano lessons, math exercises, everything that would assure them he’ll be a genius when he got older. Eun wasn’t allowed to go out like his brother, he was meant to come right after school for kumon lessons and his life was basically just studyng and learning.
Eun became a really shy kid. He was so used to be around books that actually interacting with someone was hard for him. He barely talked unless he was asked to; he didn’t join clubs, he didn’t went to prom, he just dedicated his time to fulfill his parent’s dreams.
After high school, Eun moved to seoul to study to become a surgeon, just like his parents. He’s really good at memorizing things and he’s actually top of his class but that’s not what he wants to be.
Eun did has a passion though: he adored music. Piano lessons were Eun’s favorite thing in the world. He loved the sound of the keys beneath his fingers, he loved how he could combine them however he wanted and he loved how music made him feel. He was good but this was never taken serious by his parents.
So he goes to school for his parents but took a part time job as a pianist at a lobby, that’s where he feels the most happy.
Eun is a soft spoken kid. He is nice and sweet to whoever that approaches him, but the simple idea of social interaction makes him itchy. It’s not that he doesn’t like people, on the contrary he wishes he could be as outgoing as his brother, but he finds it hard to connect with them. Even though you’d probably have a hard time breaking his shell, Eun is a caring and loving friend who’d be willing to pick you up whenever you’re feeling down.
