Important announcement for the TVD High School AU

Hi guys,

There has been some speculation about this verse, so I wanted to say a few things.

First of all - we had a great run. And in saying that, I am not saying we're closing down. Reality is that people lose interest, people join other verses, people delete accounts, go on hiatus, muses go missing (the little fuckers) - all of that.

Plus, this has spawned other things. We have college and groanup versions of our AU selves running around causing each other horrific pain. We have OCs that have spawned new life. We have people who have started RPing for the very first time because they were inspired by this verse. It been a really wonderful opportunity to make new friends and cause each other horrific feels.

I encourage people to continue on their own terms, and I for one would like to say that teen!Ric is available for this and other AU situations, because I love playing him. But at the moment, I will not be seeking people to fill roles that are not being played right now and I won't be planning any more events.

Should there be a lot of interest in Prom, in a while, I will look at setting up some threads for that.

I will set this message up to run a few times in the next few days because I want everyone to see it.

Last words: Thank you, to everyone who played, to everyone who is still playing, thank you, thank you. It's been wonderful and I sincerely hope you guys keep your teen selves available for threads big and small.

Logan is very good with technology, not the best by far, but has adequate skills in hacking, cinemagraphy manipulation, editing and digital creation.

He is stronger than he looks, though not the quickest on his feet, he has high stamina and can stay active for hours.

Headcanon

Academically competitive, Logan strives to achieve the highest grades amongst his peers, a trait engraved into him since birth he judges his worth on the level of his success which is both a good and bad thing. He tends to remember failures over his achievements and dwells heavily on things he is unsuccessful at.

Logan has a keen eye for detail and has what most would call a ‘detectives eye’. He rarely misses anything and takes pleasure in learning all there is to know about those around him and has a habit of discovering the truth. Even if the truth isn’t something he would like.

His thirst for knowledge drove him to stumble upon his fathers Journal and after confronting his father of it’s contents was educated on the Founding Families secret. Logan delved into Occult Studies soon after in an effort to learn everything he could.

Logan is a writer at heart, a daydreamer and unbeknown to those around him he has a particular interest in fiction novels. However, given the success rate of writers he does not see his hobby as becoming anything else but just that. No matter how good at writing he is.

Despite his apparent ‘nerd’ status, Logan is an expert marksman, taking up the weapons as a boy and only recently learning why his father had been so driven to push him to learn to shoot. Since learning the Family Secret, Logan has taken further interest in physical activity.

Logan has a bad habit of seeing others as ‘subjects’ or ‘tools’ to be studied or used to better himself rather as individual people. However, the more he get’s to know someone the less this happens.

Ultimately, Logan is a good person and is more than willing to help his friends and family despite portraying an effort to get something in return, he hopes that one day the truth can be revealed to everyone but in the meantime does everything he can to keep those uninvolved in the dark.
