NEW YORK 1

I don't usually have access to New York 1, the 24 hour cable news channel for New York City, so it was nice to have a little time with it for some shots.

CBS Evening News relaunched (again!) with a new look and for the first time instead of bringing back the 1987 theme, or keeping it from when they brought it back last year, they've chosen to bring back the 1991-2006 theme. Which is an interesting choice. The intro called a bunch of things "BREAKING NEWS" but the newscast still seemed to not call every story "BREAKING NEWS" so staying different from NBC/ABC but has gone more conventional style again, the last year format, I liked, is over.

ITV turned 70 on Monday 22 September 2025, and ITV News at Ten closed with the very first theme of ITV (ITN) news from that year that was used on various ITN newscasts until the early 1980s'.

FOX updated the graphics they introduced for the superbowl, swapping to team logos instead of a color block showing the team city/state name. eg: CIN vs CLE. This change happened during pre-season.

This week , thanks to the Video Music Awards, MTV2 is airing music videos for the first time in a over a decade with different block names and a mixture of decades.

KUSA-TV in Denver updated their Pre-season football graphics to the old NBC NFL package from 2018 to 2022 , replacing the older on they were using.

10 News in Australia launched a new news program called 10 News + an hour long evening news program.

They have decided to call Nicktoons , Nick Spongebob, fitting as the channel has mostly been only airing SpongeBob for the past year.
