It was a long night for San. With the black trash bag sitting on his car seat, he drove out to a secluded spot far from his house, keeping a close eye on the area to look out for surveillance cameras or anyone who might be around.
He hadn't brought his phone, he’d left it at home, sitting on top of the washing machine in the laundry room. Once his clothes were done, he just threw them on, put on some gloves, and left the device behind so his route couldn't be tracked by modern phone features and online accounts.
Even though he was driving his truck, he seriously doubted there was any way that old piece of junk could be tracked, since the vehicle had been modified so many times.
The spot he picked was a vacant lot filled with broken walls and scattered debris. After parking, he got out of the car carrying the bag with Wooyoung’s belongings in one hand and a jug of gasoline in the other.
He ripped open the bag and dumped everything, including the sneakers, Wooyoung's wallet, and the pieces of the broken phone he’d managed to gather, into an old, rusty oil drum. He watched it all drop inside until the bag was empty, then tossed the bag in too.
Then, he opened the gas jug, poured some of it into the drum, and used a match from his pocket to light it up. He stepped back just enough to avoid getting hit by the flames that quickly flared up, fueled by the gasoline.
San watched the burning drum, the smoke rising, and the heavy smell of burning plastic that stung his nose, charring everything he had taken off his late friend's body.
While he waited for the flames to signal that everything had turned to ash, he thought about what you had said earlier about going to San’s house.
And considering he wanted your touch and couldn't stand it when you guys didn't have privacy, and how good it had felt to be in your room, he thought he could use some professional help.
He simply wanted to have you underneath him, and he didn't want to have to wait to go to your dorm only when your roommate was out.
He liked going out and hanging around with you, paying for your food, your tickets, and your gifts, but nothing compared to when you guys were alone. He wanted that all the time. He had needs.
Seeing the fire gradually die down inside the abandoned drum, San walked over and looked in. At the bottom, there was nothing left but a shriveled, smoldering ball slowly disintegrating like charcoal, turning to ash whatever hadn't been completely charred.
He got back into his truck, started the engine, and drove back home.
As soon as he walked in, he grabbed his phone and looked up cleaning services. It was a risky move considering what he kept inside the house, but he was willing to spruce up the place.
Hiring professionals could come in handy for the sheer convenience and ease of it, he’d just have to supervise. Once they were done, he could just swap out the mattresses in the bedrooms for new ones, buy new bedding, and cover the living room floor with a large rug.
Spurred by the sudden idea, San requested a deep clean through the online service, though he’d have to wait until business hours.
He went down to the basement and looked at the body hanging from the hook, blood dripping from the deep cuts San had made.
Below it, an old bucket, similar to the one he kept in the shed, was filling up with the red liquid as if it were sitting under a gutter.
Soon, he’d have to dump the blood out to empty the bucket so it wouldn't overflow and mess up the basement floor even more.
He reached for the cluttered shelf piled high with all kinds of tools, and still wearing his rubber gloves, grabbed a surgical mask. The mask wasn’t exactly the best gear for the job, but San couldn't care less. If it weren't for the sulfuric acid he handled, he wouldn't even bother wearing gloves. He just didn't care.
Walking a bit further, stepping away from the dim light illuminating the center of the room, there was a niche on the wall holding the severed head of his previous victim. The lifeless, unsupported face, the slack, drooping mouth, the skin now saggy and corroded.
He let out a soft snort of a laugh and headed toward the makeshift entrance he’d built leading to the tunnel. The dark passage was held together by wooden beams he’d put up to shore up the dirt walls like support joists.
Using his phone flashlight, San walked to the hidden room he’d carved out between the basement and the shed. He had improvised a ceiling support the same way he did with the tunnel passage to keep the dirt above from caving in at some point.
It wasn’t very proper or sturdy, but it was the best he could do for now to get by before reinforcing that amateur build the right way.
Walking over to the vats full of acid, which still held the remains of his first murder, he put on the rubber gloves and the mask he’d grabbed in the basement and opened the vats.
The rotten stench filled the place, any normal person wouldn't be able to stand there for long without wanting to throw up. Even though the acid corroded the contents he’d thrown inside, the chemicals didn't stop the smell from being absolutely disgusting.
He took a good look, seeing that a large part of his crime had been reduced to nothing.
He closed the vats and went back to the basement, looking up at the hanging Wooyoung. Once all the blood drained out and made him lighter, it would be time to get rid of the body.

On Sunday, San spent the whole morning sleeping after he went upstairs. When he woke up, he just started doing chores, like making something to eat and washing the dirty dishes, as if nothing had happened. It was just another normal day for him.
You guys were texting, catching up with each other, and while San didn't tell you much about last night, you were telling him all about how your parents came home full of gossip.
You were sharing what you heard as if San were your best girlfriend dying to know the tea, but in reality, he didn't really care. He pretended to, though, while you told him about how your uncle got drunk and hit on the babysitter right in the middle of the party.
Your parents said your aunt had never felt so embarrassed, but nobody was really surprised. He had a history of cheating, and she always took him back.
You told him about other things too, like your other uncles arguing with each other over your grandfather's inheritance, a grandfather who was alive and well at the party, listening to the whole conversation while his kids didn't seem to care and were already fighting over his future death.
Later on, in the early afternoon, you guys talked about meeting up before the day was over, and that was when a message popped up on his phone screen. The notification showed Yunho's name.
San sighed heavily, rolling his eyes.
[Yunho]: “Did Wooyoung crash at your place? I can't get ahold of him.”
[San]: “No, I dropped him off at his house. He must have a hell of a hangover, he drank way too much last night.”
[San]: “Give him a break.”
[Yunho]: “Yeah, I think so. Anyways, just wanted to know if everything's alright.”
San locked his phone, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. If Yunho and Yeosang started getting suspicious and wanted to nose around, that would definitely mess things up for him.
He needed to keep his slate clean. He hoped he wouldn't run into any trouble with his other two friends, but he’d have to start preparing and be ready just in case it became an issue.
He didn't want to get locked up again.

The next morning, San woke up feeling a bit more refreshed than the past few days. He’d finally slept at a normal hour after so many restless, late nights.
You guys didn't end up meeting up on Sunday, your parents wanted help cleaning out the garage, which kept you pretty busy because of how much junk had piled up in there.
But you were happy that San was picking you up to drop you off at campus. When you left the house that morning, you waited for him, leaning against the tree trunk that decorated the front yard. You had texted him about what time you’d be heading out, and a little while later, you saw him pulling up in his truck.
He stopped so you could hop in, and before you even buckled your seatbelt, you rested your hands on his leg, leaning over to give him a kiss.
“Morning, Sannie.” you said, sitting back up in your seat.
“Morning, pretty.” He smiled at you, noticing the locket chain gleaming in the light reflecting off the window, showing that you were wearing it under your clothes just like he was.
San drove toward your college, keeping his eyes on the road while listening to you ramble about nothing in particular, keeping one hand resting on your leg, occasionally tracing your skin with his fingers.
Looking in the rearview mirror for a split second and seeing the reflection of his hand on your thigh while you sat in the passenger seat, a flash of memory hit his brain. He remembered Wooyoung sitting in that exact spot, joking about being his passenger princess.
He shook his head, forcing the image out of his mind and clenching his jaw.
“You okay?” you asked, noticing his expression falter.
“Yeah, I'm good, just thinking.” he deflected.
“Oh… about what?” you questioned, not exactly interrogating him, but genuinely curious.
He stopped himself from rolling his eyes, you weren't really helping here. “I was just thinking that maybe you could sleep over at my place tonight.”
Your mouth dropped open in surprise, not expecting him to invite you over so soon.
“So you changed your mind about having me over?”
“Hey, I've always wanted to have you over, okay? It's just, I didn't want you seeing my house looking like a total mess. But it won't be an issue now.” The cleaning service San had hired over the weekend was scheduled for today.
He had been very clear and firm when specifying that the cleaning should be limited to the common areas of the house. Crossing boundaries and entering the basement or the shed was strictly forbidden.
Even though everything was locked and secured, he made it seem like he just didn't want anyone trespassing on his property with bad intentions, as someone who lived alone, he had things to look after. They assured him the team would follow instructions and respect his privacy.
The deep clean option included some heavy duty scrubbing, from the floors to the walls, hard-to-reach corners, and inside the drawers, cabinets, and fridge.
He had gotten rid of the first guy's bag from his bedroom a while ago, and he’d also emptied out the hiding spots under the floorboards in both bedrooms.
San hoped everything would go perfectly smoothly.
“Are you really that messy, Sannie?” you teased.
“Not really, I can handle my own messes. But there's also years of buildup… it's a tough clean.” he explained.
“Alright, I get it. All that matters is being with you, wherever we are.” you said, placing your hand over his on your leg.
He pulled the truck up in front of your dorm building, unbuckling his seatbelt and leaning in before you got out.
He cupped your cheek with one hand, gently caressing it, while leaving a kiss on your lips to say goodbye.
“Should I pick you up when you're done?” he asked.
“Sure.” you confirmed, giving him a quick peck before stepping out of the truck.
He watched you walk away for a few seconds before driving off, heading to work.
While he was driving, his phone buzzed with a few unread texts from Yunho, but he just ignored them and kept going.
Once he got to work, he changed into his clothes and put on his white butcher's apron and gear, finding Yeosang in a surprisingly good and relaxed mood.
“Got laid?” San asked, arching an eyebrow at him. He asked so casually, as if the post-coital glow was second nature to him, that he didn't even think twice about it.
“Ha ha, no, unfortunately.” Yeosang replied.
“Then why are you so happy to be at work? We both know this isn't exactly the dream job.” San asked, putting on his rubberized white apron and gloves.
“It's nothing, I just have a good feeling about today.” he answered, leaving San even more confused.
“Good for you then, man.” San shrugged, focusing on what he had to do and leaving Yeosang to his own thoughts.
He had plenty to think about during the day too, the people arriving shortly after his shift started to clean his house, you coming over to spend the night, and the basement with Wooyoung.
Throughout the day, he just did more of the same, taking care of his tasks and helping Yeosang out with some customers. Even though Yeosang handled almost all of that part, San also did a great job dealing with people whenever he felt like it.
He just didn't like it. He preferred leaving it to Yeosang, but it wasn't like he was bad at it, on the contrary.
As the hours ticked by, it was finally time for San’s break. He went to the locker room, threw his uniform inside his locker, and left, deciding to swing by his house to see how things were going.
Even though he’d taken precautions to keep the situation under control, after all, it wasn't like the cleaners would actively try to break into his basement, the sheer fact that he knew he was guilty drove him to check up on it.
A few minutes later, he climbed out of his truck and ran into three women carrying black trash bags out of his house. Parked next to them was a van with the logo of the cleaning service company he’d hired. The women’s uniforms had the same logo.
He walked up, trying to get a good look inside.
When one of the women asked, he confirmed he was the homeowner who had called them.
Inside the house, they were using various cleaning equipment like vacuums, carpet extractors, and steamers. Still, you could already notice a massive difference in the place, if they left right then, it would already look like the job was done.
Checking the door under the stairs discretely, it was still locked tight.
San let out a sigh of relief, checking his watch.
He said goodbye and got back in his truck, driving back to work feeling a lot more at ease now that he’d checked on the progress.
Not long after, while he was out in the supermarket's back area where employees smoked, with just a few minutes left before his lunch break ended, his phone rang.
He groaned, completely out of patience, and reluctantly answered the call.
“Hey, man. My break is almost over, what's—”
“San, Wooyoung didn't show up to work today. He's not answering my calls, he's not replying to my texts, and nobody can get ahold of him.” Yunho interrupted, speaking fast and sounding panicked.
At first, when Wooyoung wasn't checking in, Yunho hadn't thought much of it, until he realized too much time had passed without a word, which was totally unlike him. San was the first person who came to mind since he was the one who drove him home.
Yunho had agreed that he could just have a killer hangover and wasn't in the mood to look at his phone, so he had just brushed off any bad feelings.
However, once he noticed Wooyoung was late for work, since the two of them worked together, and way too much time went by, reality finally set in that he just wasn't coming. That's when Yunho knew for sure that something was wrong.
It wasn't like Wooyoung to do something like this. He always answered his texts, he didn't skip work without calling in, and he wouldn't just vanish into thin air without an explanation.
But San was the last person who saw him, who was with him, who drove him home. He had to know something, have seen something, anything.
“What the fuck? Someone should go over to his house and check on him.” San said, doing his absolute best to sound worried.
“You're busy, right? I'm going to talk to my boss and do just that,” Yunho said nervously, a bad feeling sinking in his chest. “San, you didn't notice anything weird with him before you left?”
“No, man. Nothing.” San replied coldly.
“Okay… I'm gonna go. I'll try to find a way to reach him.”
The call ended, and San put his phone away, running a hand through his hair anxiously. Yunho was starting to piss him off.
By the end of his shift, San’s stress levels were through the roof. Yeosang was looking way too cheerful for his liking, Yunho was blowing up his phone to tell him nobody was at Wooyoung’s house, and you were texting him, totally oblivious to everything, completely overwhelming him.
San, Yeosang, and a few other employees were in the locker room, changing out of their uniforms and back into their regular clothes to head home. San locked his locker, leaving his spare uniform inside and bagging up the dirty one he’d used so he could wash it.
Just as he put on his jacket, about to leave, Yeosang walked up to him, showing him something on his phone.
“San, isn't this the guy you got into a fight with at that party?” Yeosang showed him his screen, which displayed a 'Missing' post. The man's picture was plastered on the online post alongside a short blurb with information on the date and when he was last seen. “A mutual friend just sent me this a little bit ago, they go to the same college.”
San clenched his jaw, wanting to punch Yeosang and shove that phone down his throat, breaking his teeth. But he kept his cool, just tilting his head and wrinkling his nose.
“He's been missing since that party? That was a while ago… they're only noticing now?” he asked indifferently.
“No. Actually, from what I heard, his parents took the case to the police, but they can't track him down, so his friends made a post to spread the word and help the family,” Yeosang explained.
“Ah, got it,” San said, checking his pocket for his wallet and truck keys. “Hope his mama finds him soon.”
“I gotta go, Yeosang. I need to try and get ahold of Wooyoung. Text me if you hear anything about him.” San cut him off, turning his back and walking away, faking worry and lying through his teeth.

San slammed the truck door shut, clenching his hands into fists, pissed off and in a terrible mood. He took a few deep breaths before rubbing his temples and starting the engine.
He was incredibly stressed, he felt like throwing his phone out the window just so he wouldn't have to see another notification from Yunho. He was completely over it.
He drove right on the edge of the speed limit, being careful this time not to get pulled over by any cops at this hour. He was definitely in no condition to handle anything else.
The second he parked at his place, he went straight upstairs and into the bathroom. He ripped his clothes off, throwing them carelessly onto the floor, and let the shower water wash over him. He closed his eyes, just feeling the drops soak him and run down his hair, washing away the raw meat smell that always stuck to his skin.
A few minutes after getting out of the shower and getting dressed, San checked the house, doing a walkthrough of the rooms. The bedrooms were spotless, neat, and the beds were made like hotel rooms. The hallways were clean, the dark layer of grime that used to cover the floor was totally gone.
The living room finally looked nice, the stains that had stayed visible even after San’s own cleaning attempts didn't mark the floor anymore. The kitchen was completely clean, the fridge was practically glowing.
Just to be safe, he went over to the door under the stairs and checked the basement one more time. Everything was exactly where he’d left it.
Then he got back into his truck to go pick you up. At least now you wouldn't smell the mold that used to be trapped in the house, it had been replaced by a pleasant scent, and you wouldn't find anything out of place, weird, or suspicious.
The house looked perfectly in order.
Before he even pulled the truck over, San could already see you waiting for him in front of your building with your bag over your shoulder.
He opened the passenger door for you to get in. Your excitement helped wash away a good chunk of his built-up stress, making him focus on the fact that he’d have you all to himself for the whole night, without having to worry about your annoying parents.
“Is everything okay?” you asked, noticing his stern expression and how tense he seemed.
“Oh yeah, everything's good.” he said, smiling at you and fixing his face. He hadn't even realized he still looked visibly rattled when you got in.
He drove off once you buckled up, and you talked to him during the ride, telling him about your day and complaining about your professors. He masked his emotions, pretending to be interested in the conversation and even asking questions.
When you guys arrived, San got out and opened your door, helping you down like a total gentleman.
You scanned the whole place, taking in where he lived, finally stepping inside and seeing his house.
A faint smell of citronella lingered in the air, and you looked around, tossing your bag onto the small couch, which was covered in a white throw blanket.
“Looks perfectly normal to me, Sannie.” you said, teasing him playfully.
“That's because it actually is now.” he shot back, showing off the dimples in his cheeks. “Do you want to order something? I'm not really good at cooking…”
“What do you have around here?” you asked, walking into his kitchen and checking the cabinets. “I could make something.”
San’s eyes lit up at that. Having you at his place, cooking for him, felt like a pretty great setup.
He watched you open the cabinets, looking at what was available. There was actually a decent amount of stuff, San had gone grocery shopping last week, so there were plenty of options.
Then you checked the fridge and saw everything you needed was right there, so you decided to make gnocchi. It would hit the spot for dinner, and it would be something nice to have San try, made by you.
You felt right at home, like everything was already familiar to you. San watched you while leaning against the doorframe, finding it adorable how focused you were as you mixed the mashed potatoes with the flour.
He walked up behind you quietly, wrapping his arms around your waist and resting his chin in the crook of your shoulder.
Everything felt so tender and calm that he finally began to forget about all the stress that had built up during the day.
When it was ready, you served him gnocchi with marinara sauce, something you knew how to make really well, and you were proud of your dish. You sat down next to him at the table, watching him take a bite, try it, and nod in approval.
You smiled to yourself, feeling proud to see him eating well and enjoying your food as if it were total heaven.
San felt genuinely satisfied that you had done this act of service so spontaneously and willingly, appearing to want to please him and take good care of him. He was incredibly happy about it, you were doing so well, he felt like he was doing a great job, and you were proving to be worth all the trouble.
He looked at the table, you next to him, the serving dish, the plates, and took in the nice smell in the air. It felt like… home.
The way a family was supposed to be.
After dinner, you and San just lounged back on the couch, shooting the breeze. Since there was nothing to watch, the TV had been thrown out because it was broken, you just looked at the outline of your hand against his, watching it get completely swallowed up by his large palm and long fingers.
“I didn't know you'd like it that much, Sannie. I'll make it more often.” you said, resting your head on his chest while he stroked your waist. “We could do a double date! You and me, and Hongjoong and Seonghwa!”
You said it, totally excited by the idea, your face lighting up as you imagined hanging out with your friends. San, however, seemed to wrinkle his nose, souring up instantly.
“What's wrong? Don't you like the idea?” you asked, confused.
“No, no, it's not that. It's just—I don't think your friends really like me, Y/n.” San explained.
“What are you talking about? Of course they do! They just don't know you very well. It would be a chance for that. They're really nice, Sannie.” you said, your hands gripping the hem of his T-shirt.
“Well, it doesn't really seem like they do. Your friends always look like they're evaluating me whenever I'm around you, especially your redhead friend. I don't want to upset you, Y/n, but I just don't think it would be very comfortable.” San said, planting a seed of doubt in your head about your friends having a potential problem with him.
“I mean, I've never noticed anything like that.” you said, not really knowing what to think.
“Oh, just pay attention, Y/n, you'll see. Your friends don't seem to love it when I'm around, always sizing me up like they want to see if I'm good enough for you. It doesn't make me feel great.” San said, pouting his lips as he looked at you with doe eyes. That face always melted you.
“I-I'm sorry, baby, I didn't know…” you said, hugging him, though you were starting to feel uncertain.
San and your friends hadn't actually hung out much, hardly ever, honestly. And whenever they did, there wasn't much talking, they usually just crossed paths when San showed up to see you on campus and head to your dorm, or when he simply dropped you off after taking you out.
The interactions were so quick and minor that you hadn't even noticed anything weird going on. Hongjoong and Seonghwa had never seemed hostile to you.
But with San's words injected into your mind, you could twists things around and see how maybe they weren't the most welcoming either. Their smiles seemed forced, and their small talk felt awkward and unenthusiastic just from the lack of closeness.
Hongjoong always told you to look out for yourself above all else and to put yourself first. He advised you not to lose your senses over a relationship and to focus on other things so you wouldn't become dependent. And Seonghwa always agreed with him.
Was he only saying that, then, because he didn't approve of San? Because he didn't think San was good enough for you, didn't trust him, and thought you shouldn't invest in this?
Now your mind was a mess.
You knew your friends were good people, but you thought the same about San and wanted to believe him.
“Hey,” San caught your attention. 'I can almost see smoke coming out of your ears. It's fine. Don't think too much, Y/n.”
Don't think too much. It might make you question things more than you should, and more than San would like.
“No, it's fine. Let's, uh, let's do something.” you said, running a hand through your hair, trying to shake the thoughts from your head.
“It's a little chilly down here, isn't it? And there aren't any blankets… why don't we head upstairs?” San suggested, cocking his head and giving you a smirk.

The bedroom that used to belong to his parents had now been cleared out for San, who had never seen it look like this, perfectly organized and spotless. You walked upstairs with the bag you’d brought, tossing it onto a vintage armchair sitting next to the wardrobe.
The bed looked so cozy that he didn't want to leave the room for the rest of the night. He sprawled out, feeling the soft sheets hug him, while giving you a suggestive look, hinting for you to lie down with him.
You walked over, but before joining him, you remembered something and stepped back.
“Oh, wait,” you said, getting up to grab your bag. “I brought clothes to sleep in, I can't wear this to bed.” You left him pouting as you locked yourself in the suite bathroom, though he thought that even if it was pretty early for bed, seeing you in sleepwear wasn't a bad idea at all.
Just a few minutes later, after a quick shower and brushing your teeth, you walked out of the bathroom with a look of fake innocence, wearing a white two piece set made of a soft, smooth, stretchy fabric that molded perfectly to the curves of your body.
A tank top with thin straps and a demi cup neckline hugged your bust and waist with a smooth, almost liquid precision, showing off your soft skin. On the bottom, the low-rise shorts were barely longer than underwear, showing the underbutt and covering only the essentials, leaving your legs completely bare and accentuating the curve of your hips.
San, who had stayed in bed leaning against the headboard, looked up at you with his eyebrows slightly raised. His eyes couldn't even make it up to your face, completely hypnotized by the exposed skin and the sheer fabric that didn't leave much to the imagination. Were you trying to kill him?
“It's way more comfortable to lie down like this, don't you think?” you asked playfully, enjoying San's goofy expression as you stepped up to the edge of the bed.
“Y-Yeah, it is—of course it is.” he stammered, as if his brain had completely stopped working logically. You laughed, amused.
“What's wrong, Sannie?” You climbed onto the bed without taking your eyes off his, getting on all fours and crawling toward him. The low neckline made your breasts spill out, catching his eye.
San felt an electric shock run through his body, making him throb and tingle all over, especially in his lower abdomen. Blood was already rushing down there.
You stopped right over him, keeping your weight on all fours with your legs framing his body, placing your hands on his shoulders until you were straddling him.
He let out a breath he didn't realize he’d been holding, putting his hands on your waist and staring at your body, completely mesmerized by how sexy you looked.
“My eyes are up here, Sannie.” you said in a low voice, gently lifting his chin to face you.
“S-Sorry, I just—I was, uh, just…” You couldn't help the wide smile that spread across your lips, seeing San look as flustered as a teenage boy.
“It's okay, baby,” you said, caressing the side of his face, letting your body rest against his, close together. “You can look as much as you want. You can do whatever you want, too.” you whispered the last part, inches from his face.
San nodded like a good boy, looking at you with doe eyes and a flushed face, as you took one of his hands and guided it to your breast, his eyes watching closely.
You let his hand rest there, and his fingers quickly cupped and closed around your breast. The fabric of the top did absolutely nothing, he could feel your nipple hardening and poking against his palm.
You looked down at him, breathing heavily with your mouth slightly open, your chest rising and falling, making his hand move with your breaths.
He moved his hand, massaging your tit, letting his fingers grip the soft curves. It didn't take him long to bring his other hand to your other breast, matching his movements, pressing his palms slightly forward and feeling your nipple brush against his hand with every movement.
San looked up at you, and you stared back, desire gleaming in your eyes. He felt his ears burning hot as you brought your faces closer, your noses brushing. You moved slowly, gently nuzzling his nose before capturing his lips in a kiss.
Without taking his hands off your breasts, San kissed you back, pressing his hands firmer against you, making you sigh into his mouth, which he took advantage of to slip his tongue inside.
You could already feel your body heating up against his. You slid your hands down his torso and up to his chest, caressing the firm muscles under your palms. San gripped your breasts tighter, squeezing them in his hands before switching between kneading them and circular motions, running his thumb over your covered nipple.
You gasped against his mouth, kissing him harder as your hands wandered over his chest. In a bolder move, San slid his hands under the hem of your top, touching you under the fabric, feeling your breasts skin-to-skin.
Your skin broke out in goosebumps the second you felt the warmth of his direct touch, molding you with desire while his mouth began to devour yours.
Wanting to tease him even more, you deliberately pulled the top up, exposing your breasts and arching your back, putting them on full display for San. He broke the kiss to stare with pure lust in his eyes as you offered yourself to him.
He admired the curves, the cleavage, your hard, perked nipples, and the soft skin shaping your bust, offered up to him like cherries on a platter.
San stared blankly at your breasts for a few seconds, watching his own hands play with them, until he leaned his head down and brought his mouth close. You wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him even closer, encouraging him as he caught one of your nipples between his lips.
You watched him with bedroom eyes, your mouth slightly open and your fingers tangling in his soft hair while he gripped your waist with one hand for better balance and cupped your breast with the other, his tongue lapping at your nipple like a hungry kitten, tasting your skin.
He quickly closed his lips around the tip, sucking it firmly into his mouth, swirling his tongue over it while bringing his hand back to your other breast to massage it.
You gripped his hair tighter, making him breathe heavily against your skin as he started to suckle, teasing your body and making that erogenous zone burn with arousal, his saliva coating your nipple as he began playing with your left nipple with his fingers.
You could already feel his hard cock underneath you, the length of it poking your groin through his pants. You clung to him, pressing your bodies together as if you could get any closer, shifting your hips over him so his cock would rub against your covered center.
San let out a muffled groan against your breast, and the friction through your clothes made him grip you even tighter, digging his fingers into your skin, making your eyebrows knit together as a needy gasp escaped your lips.
He started suckling like a starving kitten, the way he always did whenever he had your tits in his mouth, wrapping his arms around your torso, holding you by the waist so eagerly, as if you were a stuffed animal. Meanwhile, you didn't stop moving your hips, seeking even more contact with him, humming restrained moans as his hair stayed tangled between your fingers, being pulled tightly.
He let go of your breast only to switch nipples, giving his attention to the left side and suckling on it, growing hungrier by the second, as if he were about to swallow you whole.
You reached out and grabbed the hem of his shirt, pulling the fabric up and making him look away from your breasts to take off his shirt and toss it somewhere in the room. You took the hint and lay down on the bed, relaxing your back against the mattress while keeping your legs wrapped around his hips, giving him a clear view of your already soaked core, covered by the thin layer of fabric that outlined your body like a glove.
San's mouth watered, salivating at the sight of your folds under the white fabric, damp with your arousal, the small wet spot prominent while you kept your legs open with a look of fake innocence on your face.
When San finally managed to look away from your micro-shorts and up at your face, you returned his gaze with a sly, suggestive smile. His cheeks instantly flushed red, his heart hammering in his chest.
He moved over a bit clumsily, putting his knees on the bed to cover you, leaning his body over yours until you were pressed together again. His mouth found yours, giving you a fierce, high-energy kiss, letting all his desire spill over.
You opened your legs a bit wider, letting him settle right against your hips, his hard cock poking you through the thick, rough fabric of his pants while his tongue swirled in your mouth, tasting every inch, dancing with your tongue like a waltz. The corners of your mouths were wet, the saliva you guys were trading spreading accidentally, but it didn't matter.
San explored your mouth and ran his hands over your body as if his life depended on it. He kissed you so hard you thought he was going to bite a piece out of your lip. Feeling the air completely leave your lungs, you broke the kiss, breathless and flushed. He was breathing heavily, his pupils dilated, and he spent a few seconds admiring the view of your wet, swollen lips from the friction of the kiss, while your face was colored from the heat of your bodies rubbing together.
“You're so beautiful…” he murmured in a deep voice, dragging his wet, parted lips across your skin while you caught your breath, his sharp, feline eyes never leaving yours.
He dragged his lips across your cheek, your chin, your jawline, your ear, even placing a soft kiss on your lobe before moving down to your neck. There, he let his tongue follow the path of his lips, kissing you in a messy, careful way, still a bit inexperienced, but not failing to give you goosebumps and stimulate the sensitive spot.
He traced wet kisses all over your neck, exploring every inch of your sensitive skin before moving back up to your chin, leaving a light nip, his teeth scraping against you.
San stopped for a brief moment, looking deep into your eyes.
“I love you, Sannie.” you whispered, your eyes pleading and tender, letting your mouth say exactly what your heart was feeling in that moment, how much you wanted him.
He gave you a toothless smile, like a happy puppy, satisfied to hear your words and feeling truly powerful in that moment.
You looked at him expectantly, wrapped up in the emotion of the moment, and before he could explore your body again, he noticed the curious look you gave him when he didn't reply right away.
“I love you too, Y/n… more than you can possibly imagine.” he said. You let out a sigh, your face softening, looking satisfied to hear him return the sentiment, even if you didn't have any actual proof. After all, you were already sure of it anyway.
San quickly brought his hands back to your breasts, focused on what was happening, your body underneath his was completely surrendered and partially exposed, your skin covered in goosebumps and begging for his touch.
He could feel his cock aching, trapped in his pants as it pulsed with arousal.
So, he reached down to the waistband of his pants, undoing the button and the zipper to give some breathing room to his aching member, which was desperate to be freed from the denim that had gotten way too tight from the lack of space and the heat radiating off him.
San leaned over you again, catching your nipple between his lips once more, suckling like usual but now with more freedom of movement to grind against your hips, letting his cock rub against your shorts, trying to press through his underwear.
He licked your nipple and sucked on the small tip as if he were truly stuffing his mouth with juicy, delicious cherries that he just couldn't get enough of. You gasped and whined needily, arching your hips against his every now and then, encouraging him to just keep using you.
At one point, he lightly bit your perked nipple, dragging his teeth across the thin, sensitive skin, making you moan louder and grip his hair tightly.
“Sorry, did I hurt you?” he asked, lifting his head and knitting his brows together like a puppy, faking concern. He had only stopped what he was doing because of the hair pull.
He still wanted to make you give in.
“No, it's fine, it was nothing.” you said, soothing the back of his head, caressing the spot where you’d pulled his hair so hard.
He gave you a cute, gentle smile, showing off his dimples. But he didn't go back to playing with your nipples. Instead, he looked at you with a pleading expression, pouting his lips with doe eyes, like a boy who wants something but doesn't know how to ask. He massaged his cock through his clothes in a dramatic display, dying to free himself and get some relief.
“What's wrong, baby? My good boy wants a treat?” you asked in a sweet, clingy tone, propping your body up on your elbows. “C’mere, baby.” You sat up in bed while San leaned his back against the headboard, shy but full of anticipation.
You loved how he turned into a shy, naughty kitten during moments like this, as if he still wasn't quite sure what to do. It was cute to you.
You moved closer to him and rested your hand on the waistband of his pants, looking at him for confirmation before pulling the fabric down just enough to let his cock spring out, free from the denim that was making him ache with arousal and hunger for touch.
The head was already leaking a few drops of pre cum, giving the tip a slick, glistening look. San looked at you with the inner corners of his brows downturned. His face was hot, just like yours, already feeling his whole body being consumed by the heat spreading between the two of you.
You leaned in, gently taking his cock by the base, moving your hand up and down to stroke him, spreading the pre cum along his shaft without ever taking your eyes off his. You watched how he slowly drew air into his lungs, his breathing syncing up with your hand, as if your touch were awakening all his senses.
You stroked him a few more times, swirling your thumb around the tip before leaning in a little further and teasing him with your lips, kissing it lightly. This made him look at you even more imploringly, and you noticed his hips subtly thrust against you.
“So eager, aren’t you?” You hid a silly smile and took him into your mouth, giving him exactly what he wanted.
The bittersweet taste of the pre cum leaking and coating the head of his cock now dripped into your mouth, the musky scent filling your nose. You took his length in gradually, wetting him and letting him slide inside easily while your tongue swirled around the tip.
He was so sensitive and you loved that, he quickly became so overwhelmed by what you were doing, his body easily surrendering as if he were already close to the edge.
He was easily impressed, too, any harder suction or a handjob mixed with other elements left him completely jaw dropped, his breath hitching and panting heavily.
You felt like a queen when he surrendered so easily to your touch, like the inexperienced boy he was. So cute!
San curled his toes as you opened your mouth wider, letting his shaft slide deep into your throat, making him throw his head back and instinctively rest his hand on the top of your head as a soft whimper escaped his lips.
You would have smiled victoriously, satisfied by the hot noises he was making, if your lips weren't stretched tight around his cock.
You bobbed your head up and down, keeping him almost entirely inside your mouth. Saliva built up and inevitably dripped down his hard, veiny length, coating it in a glossy layer while you made sloppy, choking sounds every now and then and played with his balls.
He groaned softly, his voice raspy, feeling a burning heat in his lower stomach, completely wrapped up in the wave of pleasure you were throwing at him. San would have come right then and there if you hadn't stopped what you were doing and pulled your head away.
He looked at you, completely dazed by the sudden loss of stimulation, but he couldn't even form words before you stood up on your knees and started slowly pulling down your micro-shorts, locking his attention right back onto you.
He watched the fabric slide down your hips, teased down by your fingers, finally revealing your nakedness. A small wet spot was visible on the crotch of the shorts from being against your center, right until you slipped the clothing completely off and tossed it onto the floor.
You stared back at him with a sly, lustful look while he stared at your exposed pussy, the faint, glistening sheen from your wetness, the crack between your folds, and your clit. San's cock twitched just from the sight of you naked, your top pulled up above your breasts, your wet cunt right in front of him as you knelt on his bed. He practically drooled as his eyes scanned your lower half, trying to get a better view, mentally anticipating the image he remembered perfectly well of your slit and your tight little hole.
He wanted to fuck you so bad.
You noticed how hungry and eager he looked, and to tease him even more, you took your top off, stripping completely naked, and leaned back on the mattress, propping yourself up on your elbows. You kept your legs bent and just slightly apart. From this angle, your pussy was completely on display for him, dripping wet and everything.
You cocked your head, giving him an amused look as he seemed to hesitate, not quite sure what to do next.
“Why don't you take those off and come here, baby?” you said, your voice velvety and drawn out as you pointed out his pants. You watched him move from his spot and slowly creep toward you, like a puppy learning how to hunt its prey. He did exactly what you asked, standing up just long enough to strip fully naked, just like you, before getting back on the bed and hovering over you. “Good boy.”
San's face shifted into a satisfied expression, eager to take things further.
“You like that, don't you? You like it when I call you that, baby?” you teased in a low, sultry tone. San looked at you with those same eyes, the corners of his lips curving up slightly into a modest smile. “Such a handsome good boy…”
San felt his cock get even harder, not even knowing that was possible, with every word you spoke, his balls heavy with all the desire building up inside him. He reached a hand down to his cock, stroking himself for some quick relief, and looked at you with glossy, pleading puppy eyes in a silent request, pouting his lips again as he moved further over you, aligning your faces.
“Y/n, babe, please, I— I need you,” he whined, pressing his nose against yours and knitting his brows together. He knew exactly the effect he was having on you. “Please, let me—”
He left the sentence hanging in the air, breathing heavily against your face. His eyes were practically screaming with the desire he wanted to unleash, his hips inches from yours, just begging for permission to feel you skin-to-skin.
You cupped the side of his face, stroking his skin with your thumb.
“Aw, my poor baby…” you cooed, cupping his cheek. “Only because you’re asking so nicely.” you breathed to him, teasingly, loving how needy he was, but you knew you were going to let him hit anyway, you were craving it just as much.
You shifted on the bed, gently pushing San back onto the mattress so he lay down and pulled you with him. You straddled him, your legs on either side of his body, with your palms flat against his strong, defined chest.
He looked up at you expectantly, subtly rolling his hips in sync with his breathing, trying to get as much contact as possible while his hands found your waist.
You gave him a sultry look, curling the corners of your lips into a faint but lustful smile. One of your hands slid down his body, feeling his abs tense up at your touch, your fingers brushing past his belly button where his happy trail started, all the way down to the base of his throbbing cock.
You gripped him firmly, stroking him a few times without breaking eye contact. Lifting your hips just a bit, you let his cock settle between your folds, rubbing against your soaked pussy in a back and forth motion, creating pure friction between your bodies.
He squeezed your waist, gasping in delight as he felt the swollen, pulsing point of your clit graze his shaft every time you moved.
Until, finally, you lifted yourself back up and lined his cock up with your entrance. San watched intently, his heart racing and his pupils dilating.
He stared right at where your bodies connected, watching you slowly push the head of his cock inside, stretching open your tiny little hole. He was completely mesmerized, if you looked at him, you could practically see stars in his eyes.
You carefully pressed your hips down, taking him in slowly and letting him invade you gently until you bottomed out completely, letting out a strained moan as you felt him hit deep inside you. You stayed still at first, just getting used to the stretch.
San knit his brows together, his mouth gaping into an 'O' shape as he dug his fingertips into your waist, completely fascinated by the feeling of being inside a pussy. It was hot, wet, cozy, your tight walls hugged him tightly, and something deep inside seemed to kiss the tip of his cock.
He didn't think anything else in the world compared. Nothing could compare.
“Yeah, my babe, I know. Feels so good, doesn't it?” you said needily through a moan. San reluctantly tore his eyes away from his cock buried inside your hole, as if the sight had hypnotized him, looking up to nod at you.
“You feel so amazing…” he said, his voice thick, raspy, and deeper, completely consumed by the pleasure rushing through his body. The veins in his arms were popping, he felt totally intoxicated.
You started to move, still slow and careful, after all, it wasn't easy taking it all while being on top right at the start.
Besides, you knew that since it was San's first time, he wouldn't last very long, so you had to try to make it last as much as you could, even if it wasn't entirely under your control.
You grinded against his hips, letting him feel you roll your hips while your walls squeezed him, moaning for him.
San felt like he was in heaven, his body felt so light he thought he was going to float away at any second. He looked at your breasts moving along with your rhythm, finding it beautiful how they subtly bounced just like your hips.
Soon, you picked up the pace, riding him up and down in a controlled rhythm, giving him a more thrilling view of your body slamming against his. Your breasts were moving with more life now, bouncing eagerly with every bounce you took on his cock.
He couldn't help but look down at your center again, watching your pussy swallow his cock and coat his shaft in your wetness, leaving it slick and glistening with arousal while making sloppy noises that he was absolutely loving.
“Do you like this? Do you like how my pussy feels around your cock, huh?” you managed to say between moans, resting your hands behind you on his thighs, holding on tight while giving him a perfect view of your cunt, riding him with pure dedication.
San didn't reply right away, he felt like his voice had completely evaporated for a second, and only low grunts and groans could escape his lips, finding it hard to speak clearly while his entire body felt like it was on fire.
“It f-feels so good, babe…” San said, his voice breaking and shaky. “Your pussy is so g-good…” His hands wandered over your body, captivated by how you moved, loving the view and wanting to feel even more.
“I’ll make it feel even better.” you said smoothly, riding him while rolling your hips, making your walls not just hug his cock, but rub against it. This created even more friction, causing San to dig his fingers under your hips as he let out a vibrant moan, completely unable to hold his noises back.
“Oh my god.” San stammered as you rode him up and down, the collision of your hips creating a loud, wet clapping sound that mixed with the squishy noise of your wet hole dripping around him and splashing onto his pubis.
You lifted your knees and planted your feet on the mattress, keeping your hands on his thighs, riding him with even more intensity now, letting him hit deep and hard inside you, his tip kissing your cervix.
San felt his groin throb along with his entire lower stomach, his body tingling and heating up even more. He tensed his body, feeling like he was about to blow, being aggressively vocal, his fingertips turning white from how hard he was gripping your skin.
You were starting to get tired from the effort of the position and how long you'd been at it, but you weren't going to stop.
San let out a strangled groan, followed by deep, guttural grunts, as you felt your walls heat up, and you knew he was coming.
You moved just a little bit more, just enough to make him squeeze out every last drop of cum inside you, and right when he seemed to be trying to catch his breath, you lifted your hips again, catching his attention.
He looked straight at your pussy as you pulled yourself up until only the tip of his cock was left inside you. He watched in total awe as you made him witness his cock sliding out of you and his thick, sticky milk oozing out of your hole, spilling over and messing up his pelvis, keeping your hips lifted until nothing was left inside.
He would have gotten another erection if he hadn't just come seconds ago.
You finally got off him, breathing heavily and lying down by his side, not caring about having your turn. You already figured everything would happen this way, so you didn't mind. You guys would still have plenty of time for more.
San seemed to read your mind when he turned his face toward you, still catching his breath, making a move to satisfy you as well. You stopped him, though.
You closed the distance between your faces and kissed him calmly, soothing the back of his neck.
“You did so well, babe. You’re such a good boy to me.” you said, knowing how much he liked the pet name, watching him relax in your arms as you tangled your legs with his, just lying there, feeling each other's bodies and listening to your breathing.

San woke up feeling like he had slept in a heavenly nest made by angels. His body woke up feeling different, even his skin felt different.
He yawned, bringing a hand up to his eyes to rub them lightly, wiping away a little sleep here and there. He looked over to his side, watching you sleep angelically on his chest, the sheet covering your breasts while your serene face rested against his warmth.
He felt radiant, triumphant, glorious. Without even realizing it, a faint smile took over his lips.
San finally felt like a real man.
Every muscle in his body knew it. It felt like the missing key had finally turned to silence that voice in the back of his mind that insisted on reminding him of the times he couldn't pull any girls.
In an instant, flashes of memory flooded his head, how you looked at him, how warm and cozy your body was, the beautiful sounds coming from your mouth, the sight of his cock buried deep inside you.
He threw his free arm behind his head, replaying the scenes from the night before like a movie. You kept sleeping, calm and untroubled, your naked body pressed against his, his arm cradling you and his hand resting on the curve of your waist, feeling the softness of your skin like he was caressing a peach.
San checked the time on the clock on the nightstand, it was still really early, and he didn't have to get up for a few hours. He stayed there holding you for a while before deciding to get up and take a shower.
His lean, toned, strong body, bronzed like the golden hour, gracefully climbed out of bed. The sheets slid off his frame, leaving him completely naked as he headed toward the bathroom.
A little while later, you woke up, missing San’s presence in bed as you felt around beside you. Still groggy, you sat up, rubbing your eyes and holding the sheet tight against your chest.
A moment later, San walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his hips, putting his happy trail on full display. He was drying his hair with a smaller towel while you checked him out from head to toe, watching the water droplets run down his torso.
“Morning, doll.” he said, undoing the loose knot holding the towel around his waist, letting it drop to the floor and exposing his naked body again.
“Morning, babe.” you said, your voice a little raspy. “Why are you up so early?”
“I don't know.” he said honestly. Maybe it was from the great night's sleep and how relaxed his body had been all night. “Did I wake you up?”
“No, no.” you said, getting out of bed wrapped in the sheet, catching San’s attention. “What?”
“Shy now?” he said with a chuckle as he zipped up his pants, now fully dressed. He found it ironic that you didn't want to show your body now, after showing it completely to him so many times, especially last night and after what you guys did.
“No, it's just—oh, shut up, it's not the same thing!” you said, blushing. He poked your cheek teasingly.
“You're beautiful, sweetheart.” You planted a kiss on his cheek and headed into the bathroom to take a shower as well.
Time flew by while you were hanging out with San. In the blink of an eye, you guys had already made and eaten breakfast, and you’d changed your clothes, done your hair, and grabbed your bag. San kept right on ignoring the texts that wouldn't stop blowing up his phone.
There wasn't much time left before San had to be at work and you had to be in class, so you guys headed out to the truck. He opened the passenger door, helped you up, and buckled your seatbelt before hopping into the driver's seat and starting the engine.
The drive to campus was incredibly peaceful and quiet, that is, until San pulled up and dropped you off in front of your dorm again, where Hongjoong, Seonghwa, and two cops were waiting out front. One of them was tall and lean with small eyes and blonde hair. The other was shorter, chubbier, and had black hair, but he carried a very serious expression.
You knit your brows, confused, and a sudden wave of worry that something had happened to your friends hit you. San, on the other hand, let his lips form a tight line, his relaxed, peaceful expression vanishing in the blink of an eye.
He hesitated before getting out of the truck, his fingers gripping the steering wheel tightly. A foul mood quickly washed over him.
You approached your friends, looking worried, with San following right behind you. Before a single word could come out of your mouth, the taller cop stepped forward and spoke.
“Y/n L/n?” You confirmed, trading glances with San and your friends, who looked just as confused as you were.
“And you must be Choi San, am I correct?” the black haired cop said. San confirmed reluctantly. “You're both going to have to come with us to the station.”
Hongjoong and Seonghwa had already been questioned before you arrived, since they had gone to your building and the cops were already at the entrance, about to head up to your dorm.
“Did something happen?” San asked cynically. Even though he was completely stressed out on the inside, he spoke in a fake, innocent tone.
“You're going to need to clarify a few things regarding the disappearance of Brian McCook.”
“Who?” you asked, arching an eyebrow.
“That guy from the party.” Hongjoong murmured to you.
San felt a sharp hit of adrenaline shoot through his body. Shit.

When they arrived at the station, all four of them were put on wait in the hallway while the officers talked to the detective on the case.
You sat next to San and across from your friends, who looked tense and confused.
An uncomfortable silence hung in the air. You kept looking back and forth between San, Hongjoong, and Seonghwa, not knowing what to say because you didn't even know what to think about why you all had to testify regarding that guy’s disappearance, still completely oblivious to how that night had actually unfolded.
“Do you think he filed a complaint against San because of that fight?” Seonghwa whispered.
“I think if he had filed a complaint, we would’ve been summoned a lot sooner. That black-haired cop said he’s missing.” you whispered back.
“But what do we have to do with this?” Seonghwa questioned, earning a judgmental look from Hongjoong. “What? It’s true, we don't.”
“Do you think we were summoned just because we got into a fight with him before?” Hongjoong asked, also whispering.
“So they’re summoning everyone who’s ever had an issue with that guy as potential suspects for his disappearance? That is so stupid.” you scoffed, rolling your eyes.
“Mr. Kim Hongjoong, could you come with me, please?” the tall, blonde cop appeared, interrupting your whispering. Looking at him, you could now clearly see 'Song Mingi' written on his ID badge.
The three of you watched Hongjoong stand up and be guided by the officer to the interrogation room, where the detective, the other cop, and a clerk were waiting.
Hongjoong, Seonghwa, and you were heard one by one, separately, until it was San’s turn.
You waited for him in a different hallway from the one you were waiting in earlier, since you weren't allowed to talk to him after you gave your statement while he hadn't given his yet, so as not to compromise the investigation. Mingi was monitoring you.
“Thank you, Jongho.” the detective said when the now identified officer brought San into the room. “Choi San, right? Have a seat.” the detective said as San walked in, pointing to the chair across from him, while he sat reclined in a padded chair in front of a desk stacked with documents and folders.
Next to him, the clerk sat at a small desk attached to his, typing on a computer.
Jongho stood there, watching San intently, his police radio clipped to one side of his uniform as he rested his hand on his belt, near his gun. Ready for anything.
San sat down, finding the environment a bit different from the last time he’d been in an interrogation room at a police station.
That time, it had been darker, poorly lit, and the chief himself was pressuring him and yelling at him.
This time, he wasn't being interrogated, he just needed to give a statement, a brief clarification to help with the investigation.
“My name is Kim Kyuwook, and I’m in charge of the missing person case for Brian McCook. Does that name sound familiar to you, San?” the detective said, studying San closely. He sat with his legs crossed, one elbow on the desk, resting his chin in his hand.
“No, sir,” San replied, keeping his cool.
“San, Brian was last seen at a college party that you and your friends attended and, according to witnesses, got into a fight. That's when he was violently attacked by you and vanished shortly after.” he said, leaning in and looking straight at San. “Do you remember him now?”
“Yes, I remember,” San replied. “It’s not really fair to say I attacked him. I was just protecting my girlfriend. Did the witnesses also mention that he was sexually harassing her and even tried to hit her?”
The detective arched an eyebrow, tilting his head slightly.
“San, according to the reports we gathered, you stabbed the guy in the shoulder with a broken alcohol bottle.” Detective Kyuwook tried to scan San's reactions, but he kept it completely cool. “Did you do all that out of jealousy?”
“It wasn't just jealousy, I was defending her. Was I supposed to just watch while he harassed my woman and hurt her, and let it go? Who knows what he could’ve done if I hadn't stepped in.” San shot back. Detective Kim looked at him, listening intently while the clerk next to him wrote everything down in an official report. “And if it were your wife, Detective, wouldn't you have done the same thing?”
The detective looked down at the silver chain visible around San's neck, glinting under the desk lamp.
“Is that a necklace you're wearing? Can I see it?” he asked, not because he cared about the accessory, but just out of protocol to check for symbols, clues, gang affiliations, etc.
San pulled the necklace out of his shirt, showing the locket.
“Just like the girl's, huh?” Kim commented, since he had also noticed yours visible against your clothes. “You must love her a lot, don't you, son?”
“Yes, I do. And that's exactly why I did what a man has to do. I protected her, and after that, we stayed at the party. His friends showed up right after and took him away from us.” San answered, confident and without a single stutter.
The detective nodded, giving him one last hesitant look before letting him go, allowing Jongho to lead him out of the room and back to where you and your friends were.
The officers watched the group in silence as everyone packed up to leave and get back to their day.
San still had to go to work, he was already late by now, while you and your friends were late for class.
“You guys can pick up a signed note at the front desk, the clerk can hand it to you.” Mingi said, leaving you all a little confused. “You know, to justify your lateness.”
You nodded and traded looks with San and your friends, who agreed to grab the paper. With that, you headed to the reception desk, where the clerk who had been in the room with the detective appeared a moment later to sign a slip confirming everyone's attendance.
Mingi and Jongho watched you and the others leave as Detective Kim Kyuwook walked up to them.
“All of their statements matched, they were consistent.” Kyuwook replied, his hands behind his back, pressing his tongue against the inside of his cheek.
“That guy was pretty quiet, don't you think, Jongho?” Mingi questioned. “I mean, from the moment we approached him until after he walked out of the detective's room…”
“Yeah, he seemed way too quiet for someone who was in the company of his friends and girlfriend.” Jongho agreed.
“Yeah, guys, but silence isn't proof of a crime. We need evidence to actually pin this on a potential suspect. Let's keep an eye out…” the detective said finally, heading back to work, while Mingi and Jongho nodded and did the same.

After dropping you and your friends back off at campus, San headed to work, feeling calmer than he expected.
Despite the stress of being summoned to testify, which had totally thrown off his day, he had handled it well and kept his cool perfectly, getting released afterward without any major issues.
At work, he chatted every now and then with Yeosang, who was pretty busy dealing with customers. But at one point, San mentioned that he had been summoned along with you and your friends, curious if Yeosang and Yunho would have to go through the same thing.
Yeosang said he didn't know why he hadn't gone with San, but that maybe he and Yunho would be summoned on different days.
Speaking of Yunho, San suddenly remembered the unread texts on his phone, taking a moment to check the chat away from Yeosang.
In the first few texts, Yunho updated him that Wooyoung wasn't home and wasn't with his parents either.
Next, he said that out of desperation, he had talked to Wooyoung's neighbors, but nobody had even seen him anymore.
Then the texts mentioned that Wooyoung's phone didn't seem to have a signal, he wasn't getting texts and calls went straight to voicemail, which made Yunho even more alarmed.
After that, in a much more desperate and anxious tone, Yunho said that Wooyoung's parents were going to head to the police station to file a missing person's report, since things were obviously getting way too weird and worrying.
San rolled his eyes. He texted Yunho back with all the fake sincerity he could muster, offering to give a statement, help with the investigation, and even help look for him.
In reality, San wanted to spend time with you, relive a bit of last night, and last longer this time, but it looked like he was going to have to prioritize other plans for now.
He couldn't waste another single minute with Yunho.

“I just don't understand how he could have just vanished out of nowhere, man… I mean, he was so drunk, how far could he have actually gone?” Yunho said over the phone to San, who was lying sprawled out on his living room couch, staring at the ceiling.
“You don't know of anyone he got into a fight with, or who might have wanted to lure him away? He couldn't have just disappeared on his own.” San said, his voice cynical and fake.
“I don't know, he never told me about anything like that. I don't think he has any enemies.” Yunho replied, not knowing what to think. “Man, this is so weird. Are you sure he seemed normal to you?”
“What are you trying to say?” San shot back, getting a little defensive. He knew he couldn't push back too much without making himself an easy suspect, but he wanted to steer the conversation away from any potential narrative about him. “I really don't know anything, man. I just dropped him off at home and left.”
“Hey, easy, easy, I'm not trying to say anything. What, do you think I'm accusing you of something?” Yunho said nervously. He had been a total wreck ever since he noticed Wooyoung was missing and realized something was wrong. “Look, our friend is missing and we don't know what the fuck is happening to him. I'm worried, dammit.”
“I'm worried too, but I don't know what to do! He didn't seem weird to me, he was acting like the same old Wooyoung and being a drunk just like anyone else. He even cried a little during the ride,” San fired back, trying to sound controlled, though he secretly wanted to smash Yunho's teeth in.
“He cried? What do you mean, cried?” his friend asked.
“He just started talking about how he hates this city, how he feels like there's nothing left for him here, how he's a sucker and a failure… stuff like that.”
“Holy shit, do you think he committed suicide?” Yunho started theorizing.
“That's fucked up, man. Why would he do that? I don't think he was—”
“He’d been getting depressed, you know, about his life. He complained a lot.” Yunho interrupted, explaining. “I don't know, it's just a guess, since he was drunk and thinking about that stuff. I really hope he didn't go out and throw himself in front of a truck.”
“Jeez, man, that’s kinda fucked up.” San replied, ironically being completely honest with his words, as if he weren't sick himself.
“It sucks that I have so much stuff to do, especially work. Being an adult is hard when you have to work your ass off to be able to live.” Yunho said, frustrated, his voice heavy with annoyance over the situation with his missing friend.
“Don’t tell me, I can barely sleep.” San said, acting as though his deep dark circles and exhaustion were entirely from his job. “Either way, we’re going to find him. Once the police start looking for him, it shouldn't take too long, right?”
Interestingly enough, San was being completely reasonable in that last part. He actually believed that, and for that exact reason, he had already started mapping out new routes. It wouldn't take long for the police to piece things together, he would be the prime suspect, and that would leave him vulnerable.
He could have his house searched, be followed and monitored, be interrogated and put under pressure, or even arrested during the investigation, ruining everything.
He needed an escape route.
“I hope so. Well, I gotta go. Let me know if you hear anything.” Yunho replied, hanging up after they said their goodbyes.
San tossed his phone beside him, letting the device fall carelessly onto the couch, and crossed his arms, taking a deep breath.
He couldn't afford to waste any more time. Initially, he had planned to maintain some flexibility regarding you, your college, your freedom, your family.
But plans had to change, and along with them, you did too. He already had you, he had gotten exactly what he wanted, and he could see how you were becoming more and more under his control. He believed it wouldn't be that hard to tear you away from your own world and bring you into his.
It was time for you to say goodbye to all of this and live a new life.
The life he was planning.

Over the next few days, San wasn't bombarded by Yunho anymore. His friend was a total wreck, but adult life still had to keep moving, and he had his own obligations. Just like San did. The frequency with which he talked to San and brought up Wooyoung slowed down until it stopped completely.
As for you, college was now sharing its space with San. You barely stayed at your dorm anymore, your roommate didn't even bother asking if you were coming back. You were sleeping at San’s house every single night.
Which, for him, was absolute heaven. You never imagined that once he lost his virginity, he would turn into such an insatiable man. His sexual appetite was like nothing you had ever seen before.
Lately, San reacted fiercely to your every touch and stimulation. The second time you guys had sex, he lasted longer than the first. And after that, he started lasting way longer, managing to control his urge for immediate relief from the pleasure pumping blood to his cock.
You loved how he melted in your arms, responding to your every touch with a heavy sigh thick with arousal. You loved how he ran his hands over your body, adoring you, savoring every inch of your skin as if each little piece of you were heaven.
When you got on all fours for him and he got a full, clear view of your bottom, he almost lost his mind.
It became San’s absolute favorite position, he could last all night long just watching your ass bounce with the rhythm of his hips slamming against yours, burying his cock deep inside you while you moaned his name and made him melt with pleasure.
You weren't always in the mood or felt like it, but San was living as if your pussy were the only thing in the world. And after getting it, he would sleet like an angel. Pussy really put his ass to sleep. He seemed happy with you, and you were content with that, so you just let him have his way, convincing yourself that you were just doing relationship maintenance. You were doing your best.
However, the magical nights were numbered. Your roommate moved out to a sorority house with the help of some girls, and the fact that she hid it from you, only letting you know once she was already moving out, left you with no time to find another roommate, making it impossible to cover the costs until someone else showed up.
Seonghwa and Hongjoong couldn't help you out either, they didn't know anyone looking for a roommate, and they were already sharing a dorm themselves with no extra space left.
You thought about San, but unlike what you expected, he didn't seem to like the idea of you moving into his place.
It was a bit disappointing, but it wasn't anything heartbreaking. Hongjoong and Seonghwa also helped you rationalize it, making you understand that it could seem scary and complicated since you guys hadn't been dating for very long, and moving in together was a massive step.
Even if it was out of necessity, nobody could really blame San.
The thing was, the truth was that the only reason San didn't make your wish come true was because it would stop him from doing the things he did in the basement, in the chamber he dug beneath the backyard. The blood, the bodies, the barrels.
How could he keep going? It was killing him inside, because there was nothing he wanted to accept more than moving in with you. It was like the mouse willingly walking into the mousetrap.
But it wasn't time yet. It was impossible, he knew that, not like that.
Your only option left was to move back into your parents' house until you could find someone to share a room with again. However, living with your parents meant you had to answer to them. Especially when you went out at night.
You huffed in frustration, tossing yourself dramatically onto the bed while San, Hongjoong, and Seonghwa were in your soon-to-be ex-dorm, helping you pack up your things.
You had asked your friends and San for help, and they were all supporting you while you got organized. San and Hongjoong were driving, so they were going to help you transport everything to your parents' place. Seonghwa, however, mentioned in front of everyone that his roommate was spending his birthday with his parents, so you could crash at his place if you wanted, at least until his roommate got back.
You turned it down, though, since you didn't really see the point.
It was the middle of the week. San had already finished his shift, your classes were over, the sun had set, and the sky was giving way to the darkness of the night, illuminated only by the moon and the stars.
“How did you manage to bring so much stuff into this dorm? I think you have more things here than I did when I lived with my parents.” Seonghwa commented as he helped Hongjoong close the last box, running packing tape over it to seal it shut.
San sat down on your bed next to you, resting his hand on your knee.
“Is it really going to be that bad?” San asked, watching you push yourself up to sit like him.
“It's not that, it's just… I really didn't want to move back in with them. Dammit.” You ran a hand over your face and looked at your friends.
“I'm sorry, pookie.” Seonghwa said, trying to give you a comforting smile as he placed a hand on your shoulder, rubbing it gently.
San watched the gesture intently, tracking his movements with a fixed stare, which Seonghwa noticed.
“Well, there's not much else to do now. But hopefully you'll get out of there again soon, let's cross our fingers it's quick.” Hongjoong spoke up this time, walking over and wrapping his arms around Seonghwa's waist.
“Thanks, guys. I guess we should get going now, right?” you said, looking at San, who nodded and gave your knee a gentle squeeze before standing up to help the guys carry the boxes downstairs.
San couldn't help but stare at Seonghwa and Hongjoong while they ran into each other in the hallway and on the stairs, going back and forth as they loaded your things into the vehicles.
Hongjoong had noticed San’s glares ever since he’d arrived at the dorm, finding it weird how bothered San seemed and how his mood flickered whenever he turned toward you versus away from you. It was like he was switching masks.
He put the last box in the trunk, standing out on the street next to Seonghwa, while he watched you walk out of the building with San, who was helping you with your suitcases.
“What a freaky guy…” Hongjoong muttered to Seonghwa, crossing his arms as he watched San load the suitcases into the truck bed and open the passenger door for you to get in. As San walked around to get into the driver's seat, he made eye contact with Hongjoong and Seonghwa, fully aware of the couple's stares.
When you had called him and told him what was going on, asking him to come over to your dorm, San hadn't come unprepared. Inside his truck, he had brought along items that he’d tossed into the back seat, completely unnoticed by you.
Hongjoong pressed his lips together with a suspicious expression.
“You think so too?” Seonghwa said.
They got into Hongjoong's car, pulling out at the same time as the truck, tailing right behind you and San.
“That guy would not stop giving us dirty looks, Hwa.” Hongjoong commented at the wheel.
“He seems like the type who's jealous of his girlfriend's friends.” Seonghwa replied.
“Do you think we should bring that up to her?” Hongjoong questioned, looking thoughtful.
“Honestly, I don't know. We don't know how harmless it actually is. I mean, we can't really make a scene just over some looks, right?” Seonghwa answered, though he was also uncertain and reflective.
You and your friends had plenty of freedom and intimacy with one another, but that didn't mean it was easy to bring something up as a problem when there was nothing concrete to point out.
Hongjoong and Seonghwa had to be reasonable, too.
Within a few minutes, everyone was parked in front of your parents' house. San got out and helped unload the things from the trunk and the truck bed.
He noticed how your parents looked at him with a mix of doubt and confusion, seeming to recognize a certain familiarity but not quite remembering who he was. He was secretly amused by the sight, though.
Your mother kept her brow furrowed, looking at him as if she were trying to figure out a riddle.
When everything was done, you thanked everyone and offered to make something to eat, but Hongjoong and Seonghwa politely declined. It was late, and you all knew you needed to rest and study for finals week, which was starting soon.
San declined too, but for different reasons. He claimed he had to wake up really early the next day and was swamped with work.
But when everyone said their goodbyes and you went inside, having to explain to your parents that you had a new boyfriend, San didn't take his usual route home.
Instead, he waited for Hongjoong to put some considerable distance between them after starting his car, and then began covertly following him.
Blending in with the other cars passing on the highway, camouflaging himself in the dark shadows cast over the road by the trees, he tailed his friends silently. He kept his headlights off, praying no police cruisers were nearby, careful to maintain a safe gap between them.
He put on the oversized black coat he’d left in the back seat, along with a pair of rubber gloves, a black beanie, and a black face mask, looping the straps around his ears to partially cover his face. He tilted the brim of the beanie down over his eyes to make recognition even harder. Hidden in his waistband was a knife. The other objects he left in the car until they were needed.
When Hongjoong's car pulled over, San parked his truck near a bush, watching Seonghwa get out, wave goodbye to his boyfriend, and walk into his apartment building. San didn't waste any time, knowing he would be completely alone based on what Seonghwa himself had said just a little while ago back at your dorm.
Seonghwa walked with slow steps, reluctant to let his boyfriend go, watching the car drive off until he was left all by himself on the sidewalk in front of the steps leading to the entrance.
As Seonghwa opened the door and walked through the lobby, the automatic door closer wasn't fast enough to shut the door behind him, San caught it, sticking his foot between the door and the frame to stop it from locking.
Seonghwa, however, didn't notice a thing. Without looking back, he headed up the stairs, humming a random tune under his breath while San followed him, practically on his tiptoes.
Reaching his dorm, Seonghwa only had enough time to unlock and open the door before he was violently shoved into the room, slammed by San's body as he suddenly lunged at him, making Seonghwa let out a sharp whine of pain.
Seonghwa gasped, completely panicked by the situation, not understanding what was happening and unable to see who was doing this or why.
He didn't have enough time to scream or confront San, who was already on top of him with his arms wrapped around his neck. He was instantly silenced as San forced his hand over his mouth. San pressed his torso hard against him, pinning Seonghwa's head down and leaving him with barely any room to move or look back at him.
Even so, he kept trying to make noise. Muffled sounds tried to ring out through the room, but they couldn't even echo past the calloused palm heavily pressed against his face. With his foot, San kicked the door shut again, keeping anyone from witnessing the scene.
Seonghwa tried to thrash around to throw the person off him, moving his body however he could, his legs tangling with San's as San tried to pin him down.
Unlike Wooyoung, Seonghwa was stronger, and overpowering him wasn't nearly as easy as it had been with the others. San felt his balance slip, but he fought to stay in control of the situation, after all, he still had the upper hand.
Seonghwa was strong, but not stronger than him.
He locked one arm around Seonghwa's neck, restricting his breathing, using brute force so the pressure against his windpipe would weaken his arms and stop him from reaching San.
Seonghwa decided to give in, playing vulnerable to make San think he was blacking out. This caused San to loosen his grip and pull his hand away from his mouth, focusing on shifting his weight to handle the body underneath him.
But that was when Seonghwa bit down on his hand with a force he never thought he could muster, ripping a loud, shocked grunt out of San, who instinctively yanked his hand back, lowering his guard for just a split second.
But a split second was all Seonghwa needed to throw him off with an elbow, scramble around, and push himself up onto his knees. He found himself face-to-face with the man trying to pin him down again, though he could only see him completely covered up.
San didn't let Seonghwa's retaliation stop him. The tiny advantage gained over him didn't guarantee a thing.
San lunged at him, trying to grab him again, but Seonghwa managed to dodge by throwing himself back onto the floor. He rolled to the side to get up and try to back away, but San grabbed his leg, trying to pull him back and keep him from getting away. Seonghwa kicked him right in the face, ripping a low, pissed-off growl out of San.
Even though he had some room, San moved at the exact same pace he did, making it hard for him to break free from the confrontation and get enough distance to stand up properly and defend himself. Seonghwa tried his absolute best to keep his body protected, propped up on his elbows as he dragged himself across the floor along with his feet, while San was on his knees trying to overpower him.
Every time he moved an inch, San moved with him, trying to reach him. They were like dogs on the floor, fighting for dominance, rolling and crawling around. Fists collided as San threw punches and Seonghwa defended himself bravely, their legs tangling together as they both used their knees to hurt each other, the weight of their bodies trying to crush one another.
Both of their breathings were already ragged, especially Seonghwa’s, who despite his bravery, was terrified and incredibly tense, already breaking into a sweat. Eventually, they ended up in the middle of the room, where a small nightstand stood between the beds, dividing the two sides of the room.
San was exhausted and irritated from trying to dominate and knock Seonghwa out without success. The terrified man kept fighting back and dodging every time San tried to jump at his neck and hit his most vulnerable spots.
Seonghwa grabbed the leg of the nightstand and used all his strength to hurl it at San, hitting him dead-on in the head. This made San lower his guard again from the temporary disorientation caused by the blow. Only then was Seonghwa able to scramble to his feet.
He landed a second blow on San, balled his hand into a fist, and punched San hard in the face, hitting him mostly on the cheekbone. The rings he wore tore a small cut into San's skin, ripping a loud groan of pain out of him. Capitalizing on the moment, he immediately followed it up with a kick, giving San no time to recover, get up, and fight back on equal footing.
This wasn't a scenario that called for a fair fight. This was a life-or-death situation.
The kick, boosted by the hard toe of Seonghwa’s shoe, caught San right on the chin, sending him crashing flat onto his back on the floor. Seonghwa then mounted him, yanking the mask down to reveal his face.
“Holy shit, it's you?” he said in utter disbelief, though a tiny spark inside him told him not to be surprised, especially after earlier today. “Are you fucking insane, you son of a bitch?”
Seonghwa kept his body pinned over San's, with one knee pressed into his lower abdomen, his hands wrapped around his neck, partially leaning his weight on one elbow right over San's ribs.
He was furious. He had done nothing but support and take care of you, even putting up with your weird, unwelcoming boyfriend while helping you pack your things and load your bags.
He and Hongjoong had always been by your side, welcoming you through everything like a little sister, even offering their advice whenever you needed to think about San.
He had done nothing, absolutely nothing to justify your boyfriend breaking into his dorm to launch a cowardly attack on him, without him even understanding what the hell was going through San's head.
“What is your problem, m—'
Seonghwa was brutally cut off by a blow from San right to his stomach. The knife San had stashed away was drawn in a flash, and he took advantage of Seonghwa's confusion to use it without hesitation. The sharp blade plunged in right above the belly button, catching your friend completely off guard.
His face contorted in agony, groaning at the sharp, burning sensation that spread from the cut, burning and throbbing like nothing he had ever experienced before in his entire life.
He couldn't stop the tears from welling up in his eyes from the horrific pain tearing through his body. He instinctively and protectively brought his hands to the wound where the blade still rested, trying to keep the blood from pouring out.
“How could you be so stupid?” San pulled the knife out, only to drive it into Seonghwa again, gaining more leverage from the advantage he’d just taken back. “You were winning, you idiot, but you chose to ask questions instead of acting… Don't think too much, just do it.”
Seonghwa let out a long, dragged out groan, feeling like a small, slaughtered animal. His hurting eyes were glossy with streaming tears as his mind immediately went to Hongjoong.
Oh, Hongjoong, what would he do? He couldn't leave his love. No, his Joong wouldn't be able to handle knowing this. He had to fight it, he had to call for help.
Seonghwa tried to reach the door, humiliatingly crawling across the floor while San stood up calmly, looking down at him without a single shred of worry.
There was no need to worry, after all. He wouldn't make it anyway.
It was amusing, in a way. Watching Seonghwa try to stay conscious through the excruciating pain ripping through his very core, his punctured organs causing blood to pump in different directions and spill from his mouth as he coughed, choking on his own fluids. Blood began to stain the floor in massive amounts, enough that he was dragging himself through his own puddle of blood.
“H-Help—” He tried to speak, but his voice wouldn't come out. “H-Help—” With every attempt, only a tiny sliver of a whisper managed to leave his vocal cords, and more blood was coughed out of his mouth.
San followed him in amusement, finding it funny how he was trying to reach the door, which was so close, yet to him seemed so far and unattainable.
By now, he had been reduced to an insect. San pressed his boot against Seonghwa’s back, pinning him to a halt.
His hair fell over his face, and his angelic features gave way to agony and suffering, a total mess of tears streaming down without stopping while his panicked eyes served as windows to his pain.
His poor soul wept right along with his flesh, which spilled his blood mercilessly, wasting every drop of life he was fighting so hard to keep.
San looked down at him sadistically, satisfied by his torment, taking in his furrowed brow, his knitted eyebrows, and his boba eyes, which used to shine with beauty and splendor, but were now shining from thick layers of tears.
Seonghwa’s mind could only focus on one thing. Hongjoong. He repeated the same sentence in his head, over and over, devastated by the end he was facing.
He couldn't move anymore. His body went still, and slowly, the life faded from his eyes. His soul left, weeping and broken, inconsolable at having to wander alone without the company of the love he had cultivated so gracefully and carefully, like marigolds.
What would his soul do now without his little pollinating bee?
“Joong…” was the last thing Seonghwa managed to whisper before he slipped away completely.
His heart stopped, his senses vanished, and his brain shut down entirely. It was over for him.
San just looked down at him coldly, feeling victorious. Despite the effort it took, he had managed to pull it off after all.
He looked around, taking in the mess they’d made. But it didn't matter, he wasn't going to clean it up. He wasn't going to stick around long enough for it to become a problem anyway.
Adjusting the mask on his face, San stepped away from the growing puddle so it wouldn't get on the soles of his boots, which would leave trackable footprints on the floor and incriminate him.
Carefully, he grabbed the keys Seonghwa had used to unlock the door and stepped out of the dorm, locking the place behind him. Keeping his face down so it stayed covered by the brim of his beanie, he calmly walked downstairs, not the least bit shaken.
His body didn't carry a single shred of worry.
San went out to his truck, grabbing what he had saved for the end, an old, ragged bag that hid his tools from prying eyes.
When he got back to Seonghwa, he stripped the body, being careful with his boots and the blood. If the soles of his shoes left marks on the floor, he would leave a trackable clue.
After removing all of Seonghwa's clothes, he did exactly what he had done with Wooyoung, taking off everything on his body, earrings, rings, necklaces, anything, until nothing was left but the bare body.
From inside the bag, he pulled out his black trash bags and packed everything away, leaving only Seonghwa's phone out. San started searching the room for suitcases, which weren't hard to find. The dorm wasn't that big, and Seonghwa's things were well organized.
With that done, San pulled a handsaw out of his bag.
He positioned the tool against Seonghwa’s leg, driving the sharp teeth of the blade into the still warm flesh, and began dismembering him so he would fit into the suitcases.
He couldn't just walk out of the building carrying a corpse. Besides, people out on the street might see.
Cutting him up and putting him inside the suitcases would conceal things much better. That way, if there were security cameras, the footage would be ambiguous. Plus, he clung to the fact that in a little while, none of this would matter anymore. He wasn't going to take much longer.
He removed both legs, packing them into the smaller suitcase along with both arms.
San preferred not to cut off the head. He would leave it attached.
He stood up again, looking down at the open suitcases arranged on the floor, the smaller ones holding Seonghwa’s limbs, while the largest one sat empty, waiting for the torso.
His eyes scanned the dead body in front of him, dismembered and bathed in blood, reduced to nothing but a headless stump, completely dehumanized. He loaded the remaining part into the large suitcase, zipped everything up, and finally left the building carrying the bags, tossing them into the back seat of his truck.
He started driving back home, exhausted and fatigued. He didn't care about leaving Seonghwa’s phone inside the room, not really giving a damn whether the device got destroyed or not. After all, he was leaving the crime scene to be discovered.
San knew he would see it, and it would be as easy as taking candy from a baby to lure him in that way. Besides, there was nothing incriminating on Seonghwa’s phone, it wasn't inside San's house or anywhere near it, and there was nothing on it that would point a finger at San.
So he just left it behind, taking only the bag with the belongings.
When he got home, San brought the suitcases inside. It was already incredibly late, everything was pitch black, and the street was dead silent. Only a random car would pass by every now and then.
He unlocked and opened the basement door, carrying the suitcases down and leaving them in the chamber past the tunnel before heading back upstairs. The bag he had brought inside, which held the tools he’d used, had dropped to the floor while he was hauling the suitcases down the stairs.
He opened it, pulling the tools out to put them away back in the basement. The knife he used was back in his waistband, hidden by his clothes.
Before San could head back down, a sequence of loud, relentless knocks against the front door caught his attention.
He ignored it at first, hoping whoever it was would just go away. But the knocking only grew louder and heavier, slamming against the door, which started to irritate him.
He dropped the bloody handsaw on the floor and walked over to the door, annoyed. When he opened it, he was faced with Yunho, who had a bitter expression on his face.
“What are you doing here at this hour?” San asked, not opening the door very wide, just enough to keep his body in Yunho's line of sight. Yunho was staring at him differently than usual.
“I went back to Wooyoung's house, trying to find something.” San listened to him with furrowed brows, a look of total confusion plastered across his face. “One of his neighbors let me see the footage from his security camera.”
“So, what did you see?” San asked, arching an eyebrow.
“Nothing.” Yunho said, his expression turning dark as his eyes sharpened, glaring at San, taking a step forward. “I watched the entire recording from Saturday, San. And I saw... nothing. Nothing and nobody. Didn't you say you left him at home?”
San’s expression not wavering for even a second when he stepped aside to let Yunho in, and though hesitant, Yunho walked inside.
San closed the door, locking it, and the sound of the deadbolt catching immediately drew Yunho's attention.
“Why the fuck did you lock the door?” he questioned, angry and visibly suspicious of San. It didn't take him even a second to notice the red stained gloves and the splatters ruining San's clothes.
His brow instantly furrowed, looking at San accusingly as he went on the defensive, taking a few steps back.
A storm of emotions hit Yunho because he didn't know what to think, but San clearly didn't look innocent anymore. He was furious and in disbelief over the possibility that his own friend had done something to Wooyoung.
San approached with slow steps, causing Yunho to back up at the exact same pace, keeping a safe distance between them.
“Just spit out what you want to say already.” San said, his voice completely steady. His face remained calm, he wasn't even trying to fake it or lie anymore. He just looked at Yunho with pure disdain.
His friend just stared at him with a mix of rage and shock, San’s cold words serving as total confirmation that he had done something terrible.
“Is that his blood on your hands?” Yunho asked, his voice cracking as his heart began to race and his stomach churned, wondering whose blood it could possibly be. “What the fuck did you do to Wooyoung, you son of a bitch?! Where is he?!” Yunho practically screamed, furious and choked up with grief.
“Why don't you take a look around? I think you already know the answer, Yunho.” San said, smiling wickedly, tilting his head with a smug expression.
Yunho just stared at him in horror. He slowly looked around the room as if everything were moving in slow motion, and every single thing his eyes landed on felt like a punch to the gut as he noticed the obvious details. Small smears of blood ruining the floor, and the handsaw, stained red just like San's gloves, abandoned in the middle of the living room.
He looked back at San, taking a few more steps toward the stairs. Yunho gritted his teeth, his eyes furious and glossy as tears welled up from the sudden realization that something horrific had happened to his friend.
“You, you—” he stammered, clenching his fists. “You miserable, sick son of a bitch! How could you?!” Yunho charged at San, ready to strangle him, entirely consumed by a blind, vengeful rage.
San just watched as Yunho rushed him. In one fluid motion, he drew the knife hidden under his clothes and thrust it forward. Yunho collided head on with the sharp blade, which plunged deep into his stomach.
San kept pressing the knife into him, gripping the weapon firmly while wrapping his other arm over Yunho's shoulder, forcing him backward at a frantic pace until Yunho's back slammed against the basement door.
Yunho groaned in agony, trying to push San away, but San just twisted the knife back and forth, making Yunho buckle and giving San the upper hand. Pinning Yunho against the door, San quickly pulled the knife out and began stabbing him repeatedly across his upper body, giving him no time to fight back or shield himself. With every plunge, blood poured out of him in buckets, rapidly draining his strength.
San turned the doorknob, flinging the door open and sending Yunho tumbling down the basement stairs. Yunho rolled down the steps until he crashed onto the floor, slamming his head violently against the sharp edge of a cabinet against the wall, leaving him with a nasty gash and knocking him completely unconscious.
San watched the scene from the top of the stairs, totally cold and unfazed by his friend's suffering. If anything, he felt relieved. Yunho had been getting on his nerves way too much lately.
He walked down the stairs calmly, acts of violence ordinary, still holding the knife. Approaching Yunho, he yanked his head up by his hair to look at his face, watching the blood ooze from the gash and form a dark red streak across his skin.
San checked his pulse, it was weak, almost not there, showing there was still a tiny bit of life left in him. He treated Yunho the exact same way he did all the others: he stripped him naked and searched him for anything he was wearing, all while the stab wounds kept leaking blood everywhere, making a total mess of the floor and staining San.
He could tell Yunho’s breathing was shallow, but he was a goner anyway. Using his strength, he hoisted Yunho off the floor, repeating what he’d done to Wooyoung, after all, there wasn't just one meat hook installed in the basement.
But unlike Wooyoung, Yunho was a bit more of a hassle since he was heavier. San hoisted him up onto the sharp, pointed metal, watching how the pain from the metal driving through Yunho's chest, tearing through his flesh, ripping his muscle, scraping his bones, shattered his momentary unconsciousness, making him screech in sheer agony.
His face contorted in absolute horror as blood spilled from his mouth, staining his teeth red. He was choking on his own blood, unable to scream as life rapidly drained from his body and blood leaked out from everywhere, until his eyelids relaxed, leaving his eyes half open. San just stood there, watching the aftermath of his actions.
“Look, you found Wooyoung, Yunho. You should be happy.” He stepped closer and, using his blood soaked, gloved hands, stretched the corners of Yunho's lips to each side, forcing a macabre, unsettling smile. “Now you've joined him. Ready or not, isn't this what you wanted?”
San laughed, backing away to take a good look at what he’d done. One less problem. Though now, he had more work to do. Wooyoung was almost completely drained, but now there was Yunho.
He huffed, grabbing a plastic bag and gathering up all of Yunho's things. Once again, he grabbed the phone, but before smashing it to pieces, he tried to unlock the device using Yunho's fingerprint, wiping his finger clean on his own clothes first.
He dug through everything he could, checking Yunho's search history, his conversations with Wooyoung, and the last messages he’d sent to people. There was a chat with Yeosang.
San's coworker had asked Yunho if he’d found out anything about Wooyoung.
“I think I have something, but I need to double check first…”
Thankfully, Yunho hadn't talked about it with anyone else or revealed anything about the cameras. He couldn't be one hundred percent sure whether Yunho had mentioned it to someone over a phone call, but checking his call logs, none of them lined up with the timeline.
He grabbed a hammer and shattered the phone until it was broken into tiny pieces, then swept everything into the trash bag, which would be disposed of the exact same way as the previous one.
He repeated the entire process. Running the washing machine for his clothes, the drive to the exact same spot where he’d burned everything, the bucket to collect the blood draining out of Yunho, the house cleanup, this time done entirely by himself, and hiding the evidence.
But he needed to do one last thing. There was still someone left.
And San knew he wouldn't be long. He wouldn't even have to go looking for him. He just knew. He would come on his own, and San would be waiting for him.
