“I’ll light a candle for you”: *spell*

PURPOSE:

I use this spell for so many purposes. Most commonly (and the one I’ll be discussing here,) is to send good energy, luck, and comfort to someone you can’t physically be with. For example, lighting a candle for a friend who is sick in another state. 

SPELL:

I like to start by sitting cross legged on the floor, holding the candle in both hands. Close your eyes and meditate on your intent for a few moments. Visualize yourself lighting it, then picture its warmth reaching the person/people you’re trying to comfort. Imagine the warmth wrapping around them. 

After you’ve done this, simply light the candle and keep it in a high, safe place in your home. If possible, near a window. (Make sure no pets, babies, or anything flammable is in danger!) 

I usually keep it burning for at least an hour if possible. If you have a candle snuffer, I suggest using that, but blowing it out will work too. As you do so, don’t forget to say thank you.

I never thought I'd get into deities, but I've been weirdly drawn to the sun and Apollo. I'm still very new and don't know how to properly praise, if those are the correct terms. I used my tarot cards to see what I should do, and I feel like I got my ass handed to me.

What I asked if I should follow Apollo I got the fool reversed.

And when I asked how to fix things I got the 7 of swords reversed.

Dunno if I'm going down the right path or not...
