i’m always sleepy and have a really bad sleep schedule :( the main way i regress is through napping and having a simple, kid-friendly nighttime routine that makes me feel safe. i sleep about 10-14 hours a day but im still always sleepy :/

i only recently started engaging with the agere community after years of chilling on the outskirts, since i never really thought i age regressed, but a friend helped me realise that i do age regress under certain circumstances, typically due to stress or being emotionally/physically drained (which happens a lot thanks to the autizm lol)

i’m not sure what age i regress to, all i know is that it varies every time. sometimes i feel like im 8 again, while other times i have limited vocabulary and feel like a toddler or a little kid.

i don’t thiiiiiiiiiiiiink the reason i regress is trauma-genic. i didn’t have a bad childhood (as such) but my younger teen years were very bad and im still feeling the effects of them as an adult.

anyways i just enjoy being little and shutting my brain off. i love curling up and watching bluey and chewing on some sweeties and not talking.

i typically go mute/experince verbal shut down, which is an indicator that i’m regressing. i was selectively mute when i was young and that’s sorta followed me ever since
