Zutara Week - Fire Lady 

For this topic, I was very excited to design a fire nation dress for Katara. When I was younger, I used to design fashion clothes for fun =p So it felt like revisiting an old passion. I focused on some asian elements, the royal aspect (hence the gold), and the fact that the climate in the fire nation is very hot. Also I tried to sneak some modern day fashion trends in there =p

 I had so much fun with this one! Hope you like it ^^

Where do I even begin with this? (Also the fact that this is hard to come by is damn travesty I tell you)

I love that Sokka makes her more brave and outgoing, and she alters his sense of responsibility (even long after she’s gone). I love how much Yue enjoyed the opportunity to fly

and just moments after this shot, steal the chance to snuggle up to him, citing “how cold it is while flying.” Remember that both of the kisses that they shared were initiated by Yue, so yeah, she could be much more of a go-getter if she wasn’t conflicted between her love for Sokka and her devotion to her people and culture. In the end, she chose her destiny. 

I love that Sokka’s future behavior is so heavily influenced by her (a strengthened desire to protect people and bolstered personal responsibility), and he unhesitatingly defends her name when she’s no longer able to do it herself. Sokka’s love for Yue never died; it changed, becoming a strength that manifested in his love for his family and friends. 

Also don’t say anything potentially embarrassing in front of her because she will remember it beautifully
