Character Reveal: “Bomb Boy”

So for the raccoon fans out there…

Meet “Bomb Boy” the Raggoon, the nickname for one of the Particulate pollutants and a pretty common baddie!

This may come as a surprise, but Bomb Boy specializes in bombs, packed with an explosive force of different gasses. 

“Bomb Boy” was designed by Komoroshi!

Above is an animation by @pitiyindee, broken down into a few phases to show the process. Piti starts off usually by offering some ideas for attacks based on a provided character description, then after some are chosen, we move on to roughing out the animation. 

Once we have a good feel of the overall direction, additional details and frames are added until it’s to a point where it can be tested in engine.

So I’ve been trying to redesign Mud, because I wasn’t really liking his old look, and this was one of the ones I didn’t delete. I like it. Maybe not for Mud, but as a character design itself.

OVERHEARD: You’re Going To Have To Work With A Lot Of People Who Aren’t Your Friends

Overheard at the Nero Cafe in Downtown Crossing by the subway station. At the table next to me a young black woman (seemed to be in her 20s) was meeting with an older white guy, retired from years teaching business school classes but apparently still needing to work - she had paid for an hour with him as a consultant.

Oh wow an art update since forever. I recently got Clip Studio Paint and I was messing around with its brushes to get a good coloring style. So I drew my main hero of Adventurers of Torland, Levant with his fairy Kururu
