They all extraordinarily good in this new picture, and also like they’re attending a fancy party turned scene of a murder. Sam looks like a cooky oil baron with something to hide. Laura looks like the hot movie star bombshell with a dark secret. Marisha looks like the lovable youngest child of a billionaire family who is set to inherit less and jet sets about the country for fun. Liam looks like the rich reclusive author who still hadn’t finishes his newest book and also has a dark secret. Ashley looks like a well set up, hot, old money woman who’s murdered at least three husbands. Matt is the guy with a torrid set of relationships with everyone else who was blackmailing at least one person who gets murdered right before he was about to reveal someone else’s big secret. Travis is the disgraced detective brought in to solve the mystery who says things like “someone’s been killed, damn it!” And stomps about looking frazzled but hot as he interviews people till he finally solves it. Taliesin is the weird old uncle who’s known everyone forever and know everything about everyone but won’t say anything, probably one of the other people is his secret kid. Also Laura did it but for good reason and looks very sexy as they take her away.

whenever they find that the stunt doesn't work as portrayed in the movie, they immediately ask "what would it take to make this happen?"

Some myths I'll always remember:

* Are elephants scared of mice? (They only did that because they were in Africa and had access to elephants.)

* Will a bull run amok in a china shop?

* Is it better to run zig-zag or straight when chased by an alligator?

I love these because NONE of them turned out the way they expected. They went into all three with pre-conceived ideas of how it would go, and each time they "failed." Elephants WILL cower from mice. A bull moves very gingerly through a china shop. It doesn't matter how you run because ALLIGATORS WON'T CHASE YOU.

And each time, they reacted with just... pure glee. "Holy shit, we were wrong! Oh my god! This is great! We were so wrong!"

And that, to me, is what science is. Being excited about being wrong because either way it's information.
