that’s two days in a row i’ve woken up to news about tragic shootings happening in places that are supposed to be safe and positive environments… a fucking meet & greet and a nightclub… something needs to happen and by something i mean gun control laws

There’s a reason criminals are criminals. They don’t follow laws. Let’s make it impossible for actual good people to defend themselves against the evil ones with illegal guns, because gun control!

i’m so over pro-gun people making that argument. gun control doesn’t mean gun banishment. if you meet specific qualifications then you can own your precious guns.

Ever since they banned guns in Australia there has not been a single mass shooting. Since they banned guns, Canada has only had 8 mass shootings over the last 20 years, compared the the 7 the US bas had since MONDAY.

There is a DIRECT correlation between the lack of guns and the absence of mass shootings in a country.

The presence of legal guns in the united states makes mass shootings possible on a much more frequent level than anywhere else in the world. Making guns illegal in the US will significantly reduce that risk.

Pro-gun people use the argument “Criminals break the law, so they dont care about the fact that guns will be illegal” is a stupid argument. What makes mass shootings so frequent is the accessibility of killing machines literally anywhere from Wallmart to a pawnshop is what is making everyday people think about doing it.
