Met a shoplifter today lmao
i was hanging out with friends and we started talking about crimes and shit and one guy said he was a shoplifter and i was like holy fuck me too dude, do you have tools? and he said "yeah i have magnets to steal clothes" and i said "yo i have a hook for clothes too" and then i told him i managed to lift tons of clothes in *this one big shopping center* and he was amazed lmao
it's so weird to see ppl do the same stuff as me lol

i’ve never been in a situation where luck got me out of being caught (thank god) but there was this guy that always used to lift at the store i worked at and lemme tell you- this guy SUCKED.
he was so obvious and was literally going against all basic lifting knowledge (looking directly at cameras, sketchy clothing, SPRINTING AWAY FROM SA’S!!!) And the worst part was that he hit us every day at the exact same time so my managers immediately caught on and vowed that the next time they saw him they were gonna call the police.
The next night, i’m working the night shift and i see him come in and immediately in my head i’m like “this guy is such a bad lifter he deserves to get caught” so i start to call my manager over. but suddenly, a part of me sympathized with him. i didn’t know why he was lifting but maybe he had a good reason to. so as quickly as i could i wrote a note, shoved it in a store basket, and snuck over to him.
“hi” i said, “would you like a basket to help you shop today?” of course he was freaked out by me since i was a worker and declined. then, a little forcefully i said with a smile “take the basket” and shoved it in his hand, with the note attached. he looked at me strangely and then read the note as i walked away. the note said “you suck at shoplifting :( email me at [email protected] for some help”
luckily he got the hint, ditching his shit, and as he left the store we made really intense eye contact.
low and behold when i got home i had received an email from him and from there i gave him a ton of tips, and obviously he was super surprised that i actually was helping him. when i got to the point where i could trust him i gave him my number and we really grew to like each other so now i have an awesome, funny, caring lifting bf who is learning about lifting beside me. and i think that was pretty lucky :)

we just lifted alcohol for the first time 😭😭😭 it was so stressful but WORTH IT!!! small haul coming later 😌
i grabbed two bottles, put them in the cart (it was kinda full), i also put my purse in the cart. then i pretended to look for something in the cart when really i was peeling off the rifds under the bottles. i then went to a blindspot and put them in my purse (i also had a shirt in my purse and i covered the bottles with it, just in case they asked to see my bag).
HOW TO DO A WALK OUT
My brother told me how he managed to lift a ton of stuff in a grocery store. He did this like 4 times and it worked perfectly each times.
He did it with someone but i guess you could do it alone, idk. He used a shopping basket but I guess it could work with a cart, though it'll probably be more sus. You need to scoop out the store first so you know where your blindspots are.
Here's what you're gonna do:
-Fill up your basket with stuff you don't want, these are your decoys. Then add the stuff you're going to lift. It's important to have the stuff you're going to lift on top so it'll be faster to conceal.
-Go to your blindspot and conceal the stuff you want. on body, in a purse, a bag, whatever you're comfortable with. my brother used a backpack.
-Go to check out. You're going to 'pay' with a card that will get declined. Like an expired credit card or a card with no money in it, as you wish. Since your card got declined, tell the cashier "wait, let me get some money from an ATM." or "oh shit I took the wrong card!"
-Leave.
and voilà! you're done and you got what you wanted for free!
