I've been thinking a lot about Grace and Rocky and their friendship. Grace does so much Rocky glazing in the book (he is almost CONSTANTLY. Saying some bullshit like "Yeah. My best friend is an alien. An engineer alien. The best engineer alien and best friend EVER. NO ONE EVER CAN TOP HIM HE'S JUST THE BEST AND THAT'S FACT NOW") and I like to think in a Rocky pov there'd be a lot of "Grace is ffcucking stupid. I love Grace but the's so stuod."

I really like Coltland twins and the thought that they're at least not very close at the time phm takes place (due to Colt's avoidance post accident is my personal favorite, especially with that causing Grace's outburst at the UNESCO conference. Yes I know he's really mostly away for about a year and a half, but I think it'd be hard to come back after that, even with support from Jody.) which is why, for the most part, Stratt didn't know about Colt. "You have no immediate family" WRONG!! You just don't know about him! Maybe the some of Hail Mary crew or Dimitri were able to squeeze SOMETHING out of (a possibly inebriated) Grace about Colt, but otherwise he's just not mentioned.

Contemplate an aroace Grace that is not sex repulsed but in fact open to discussing sex and such because it's biology and that's his special interest.
Thinking about Driver probably fully accepting death. But then perhaps he finds Colt working stunts on a set with him pre-stabbing and he shows Driver a kindness he was only able to find in Irene, and, while thinking about that as he bleeds out, discovers that maybe he does have a reason to want to keep living. Or perhaps he shows up bloodied and half dead at the hospital and falls under the care of a certain little Jeffrey Thankyou who patches him up and just gets him on his feet again, because Jeffrey doesn't care about what Driver's done, he's likely arguably done far worse. The Possibilities Are Endless. Someone Get This Man A Will To Live!

anyways am i the only one kinda sad to see basically all rocky and grace posts being tagged with both grace//rocky and g//rocky? i like the ship and all, but it feels like every single post about these two that i see is just meant as ship. very rarely do i see a grace and rocky post now thats not tagged with their ship names.
idk man. maybe im too sensitive or whatever but it really is just fucking depressing to see how quickly people get bored of platonic relationships.
