Shutter project

We have done painting the shutter. This is the final outcome of all of the shutters. :)

#Week8 ID Context Above shows the bubble diagram and space planning in 3 options. The first 2 options will be using ground floor only, third options will be using 2 floors. I will be creating a temporary structure in publika shopping gallery.

Floor plan

#Week8 ID Application This is the furniture layout plan in autocad. I have received some feedback from the lecturer. As my concept is related to natural sunlight, I plan to change the rooftop area to be a glass roof.

Rimbun Dahan

This week we have a class trip to Rimbun Dahan, a space with art studios, artist lounge, dance studios, and art gallery. It also provides workspace and accommodation to the artists.

#Week6 ID Application I have finalized the concept for this project, which is sunflower. Flowers have always been used to convey the beauty of women and different flowers has different meanings. Sunflower is representing longevity and strength, where i think it is suitable for my project.

Interim 2

#Week6 ID Context This is the last presentation in a group. We have finalized the brand value and created an overall moodboard for the brand. We are suggested to add in transparency as the design element.

Refreshed direction

#Week5 ID Context This week we will need to create a new direction for the brand. My group has decided to use topographic as our concept to show the organic form of the mineraw ‘handcrafted’ the products and collect raw ingredients from our mother earth. We also came out with materials board and building programme.

#Week3 ID Application I have come out with 2 options for space planning. The main difference is the location of multipurpose event space, option 1 is on the ground floor; option 2 will be on the first floor.

Here is some feedback we got:

Mineraw (better option) - The brand is lacking its own identity - Just following the trend, not much of brand story - Logo looks similar to a few other natural skincare brands - Focus more on social factors like customer education/awareness - Economical factors like customer index and price - In-depth research on competitors (exp: Keihl’s, Loccitane) - Look into rivalry brand: The body shop

ARKET - Most of the Scandinavian company is very well developed - It is a new brand, unable to see if it succeeds within a year plus - They know clearly what they are trying to achieve Conclusion After discussion, we decided to take Mineraw as it has more opportunities for us to develop.
