*After her conversation with 3, she decided to be a lot more careful than she was before. She slowly walks around the Boardwalk, looking for Twisted. She’s wearing an Octo support hoodie, mainly to cover up her scars*

*twisted was standing dramatically on a roof with her arms crossed, cape flowing in the wind. She scanned the boardwalk until she saw 8.*

*8 is very dumb, she doesn’t see Twisted quite yet. She’s just searching the city, tying to find her*

*twisted, in squid form, sneaks over to the roof that's next to 8, before turning back to her kid form, facing away from 8, with her arms crossed. Her long tentacles and her cape are blowing in the wind, which seems much more dramatic and prominent now. *

*Seeing the shadow of the cape, she looks up to see Twisted. Immediately regretting coming to find her, she super jumps up to her, obviously a little nervous*

*when she hears 8 start a super jump, she runs to the other end of the building, maintaining her dramatic pose.*

*She looks confused, looking at Twisted*

*twisted dramatically turns her head to face 8, putting her hands to her sides after doing so. She then quickly turns around, before running at 8 using her brush and splashdowning.*

*she grins at 8 fighting back, before throwing out an autobomb, her arrow spray, and starting to shoot at 8 herself. *

*Her aim switches from Twisted to her gun, seemingly trying to disarm her. One look at her facial expression shows she doesn’t actually want to hurt Twisted*

*twisted backs up just enough to be out of range, though her gun can't reach 8 now, and she pulls out a booyah bomb.*

*She stops shooting, but she still seems determined*

Listen! I-I don’t wanna fight you! I just wanna talk...

*She quickly jumps off of the building to avoid being hit. She looks up, waiting for Twisted’s next move*

Orchid had simply been going down the boardwalk. He mentally recited information to himself, but he did make sure to be wary.

*twisted hopped down into an alleyway, before walking to the edge of the dark part and cackling.*

Orchid jumped and summoned his shield. His nervous gaze darted towards the sound.

"Who's there?!"

*she stepped out of the shadows, a crazed expression on her face.*

Oh, nobody~!

Orchid glared at her. He had a feeling this was who he was supposed to be looking out for.

"Twisted, right?"

He summoned a few shards and fired them at her.

Hehe!

*she casually summons a bubbler, taking out her hero brush. *

Yeep!

"I would say it's nice to meet you, but it isn't."

He ceased fire and bubbled himself.

*she hops up onto his bubble and began mashing a machete into it.*

Orchid genuinely squeaked and just let it burst open, hopefully knocking Twisted away. He summoned more shards and fired them again.

*she grins and starts attempting to weave her way through the shards while running with her brush making an ink trail. *

Orchid summoned a wall.. shieldish thing with spikes on the side opposite from him. He sent it towards Twisted before backing up.

*she squid jumps over- there's the obligatory splashdown.*

Orchid yelped, taking splash damage. He growled and fired more shards at her.

*she continues her strategy of attempting to get to orchid using her brush, weaving around the shards as best as she can. *

Orchid stopped firing so he could bubble himself and start to roll it farther away.

*she hopped atop the bubble, and smirked as she walked backwards while facing orchid. She.... doesn't look like shes taking this seriously.*

Orchid isn't good at this and he knows it, so it isn't a huge surprise. Still, he glares at her and begins to roll the bubble quicker towards the ocean.

*she sees he's going towards the ocean, and hops off the bubble. Shes still facing him and smiling cuz ya know-*

Orchid stopped and looked at Twisted. He grew spikes on his bubble and waited for her to make a move.

*twisted patiently stands there. She can't killer wail, bubblers are immune to that. And she can't get on it with the spikes.*

He takes this moment to heal himself with spit. Ew..

"You expect me to tell you what I know about your species?"

Orchid.. doesn't like the paranoid feeling that he's starting to get from nothing too harmful coming his way for a bit.

He's keeping his now-unblinking eyes on Twisted.

*twisted is certainly smart. She knows getting through the bubble won't work right now, so she just.. starts looking at her nail polish. This is boring. *

He dropped the bubble and shot shards at Twisted.

*twisted grins, hearing the bubble drop. She changes into her kraken form before charging towards orchid.*

Oh- he didn't know about that.

He jumped up into the air and hovered. Still just.. firing shards at wherever he thinks Twisted is.

*Due to kraken not being a range special, she can't reach him up there. Unfortunately for orchid, twisted is busted and can switch between specials. She goes out of kraken mode, quickly firing a killer wail at orchid. *

He's.. a little too late on his reaction, preoccupied with shooting his projectiles. It's pain, then.. mostly nothing. He explodes into a soft pink cloud.

A gem falls to the ground, only a small crack resulting from the landing. Game over.

He summoned a few shards and fired them at her.
