About Me

This blog is run by a multiracial, multiethnic, multicultural user. My OCs are typically created to explore my own experiences with racial identity, as well as my experiences with being disabled, intersex, and LGBTQ+.

I'm happily married, and I selfship with Leona and Malleus. They remind me very much of my irl partners whom I am deeply lucky to know and love <3

Please note that whilst I typically identify as Latina (South America), that is not my sole identity. I am also South Asian, Eurasian, Celtic, North African, West African, South African, Central African, East African and Pacific Islander. There is a lot of cultural heritage, so please do not assume my background based on a singular label I choose to use.

I'm introverted, but I promise I'm friendly! Don't hesitate to send me an ask, comment on my posts, message me, or interact however you like. I deeply appreciate all the engagement I get, and we don't have to be friends, mutuals, or know each other for you to talk to me! I love it when people ask me questions, and there's no judgement here.

I would have finished it but I got too excited and wanted to share it faster rip

Prashant is a crespucular Fae from Briarland, living in a secluded community in the South of the Kingdom under human occupation. (This is also where Aadesh and Tarak hail from!)

I didn't manage to draw it here, but his daily wear consists of a dark blue/black patterned kurta with a cream coloured dhoti and beaded leather mojari. He also wears a thick, silver alloy hansli around his neck. (If you don't recognise any of those words, take a moment to look them up! And if you do, hi, let's be friends please <3)

He attends Royal Sword Academy alongside Aadesh, though the two are in different dorms. Prashant has a very cheerful, reassuring personality around others, and hides any troubles beneath a calm demeanor. His teammates often feel less stressed before matches just from seeing how confident he is. He enjoys dance, likes to explore, and is an enthusiastic member of RSA's hiking club. It's said that he has a natural talent for leading others.

Wait why does she have beef with Crewel that's so funny 😭

Crewel values obedience in his students, and of course, has a curriculum. There's a certain way he teaches, and certain methods he expects his pupils to use. You know those teachers who mark you down if you get the answer right but didn't use the method they showed you? He's one of those.

Ingrid, on the other hand, does things her own way. She's fantastic at alchemy, but her methods differ drastically from his, and she hates being forced to use his formulas for seemingly no reason when hers work just as well, if not better, and are far easier for her to understand. It's the same results either way so why on earth does it matter? He's just being strict for no reason!!!

We see this in Ingrid a lot with magic— flying, in particular is highly unconventional and she can barely steer the broom if she isn't dangling off it somehow. Sit her on it and she'll crash near immediately. Likewise, the magestone pen is difficult for her to channel magic through, and it's a lot easier for her to just use her own two hands when it comes to spells. She has her own methods and techniques for alchemy, and the traditional methods are more complicated than they're worth for her.

Despite this, none of the teachers seem to take it personally or have much of a problem with it aside from Crewel. Vargas is willing to let it slide for the most part since in the end she's still making progress, Crowley encourages her to learn at whatever pace makes it easier for her to keep up with her classes, and Trein mostly teaches theory so he doesn't have to worry too much about unconventional methods.

Crewel, however. Crewel gets frustrated. Crewel takes it personally. He views it as deliberate acts of disobedience, or challenging his authority, or an attempt to undermine his abilities in front of other students.

So they don't really get along.

Ik you said Ingrid has issues with Pomefiore and Diasomnia but like out of everyone within those dorms who do you think she WOULD get along with like eventually yk?

Within Pomefiore, Epel is the sole exception, those two are besties it's a whole mess

As for Diasomnia....there is a rather sweet moment near the end of the Glorious Masquerade event where she ends up getting closer to Silver, and the two even dance together... unfortunately it's a bit short lived and there's some confusion once they return to school and can't easily hang out anymore like they did at Fleur City :(

Do any of your ocs overblot?

They do!

Ingrid has an overblot sometime around Book 7 — I'm still deciding when exactly, so it's not decided if it's before or after Book 7. I'll figure out the timeline eventually. As for the boys, I'm definitely planning an overblot there too, it's just a matter of who, when, where, and why.

Her overblot is an accumulation of stresses: from the demands of classwork and extracurriculars, to the strange and unsettling dreams she starts experiencing, to her difficulties with other students (I'm looking at you, Pomefiore and Diasomnia...), it all piles up, and generally she's able to handle it and balance things out.

Until India Shroud.

The real problem arises when Ortho discovers a discrepancy in information and pieces together a buried truth that would have been best left uncovered. Naturally, he takes this to Idia, and things go from bad to worse. The resulting confrontation escalates in the worst way, with a series of unfortunate accidents making it harder and harder, until all attempts to de-escalate fail and the resulting overblot takes hold.

I don't want to reveal too much because I'm really hoping to write the whole storyline at some point, and I want there to be surprises and plot twists!! But yeah Idia and Ingrid have some issues, to say the least, and in the end he's directly responsible for her overblot.

I love them all equally they are all my awful children but I gotta admit Ruggie is my SON. MY BOY. MY BABY. I'M A MOTHER.

As for OCs, I have four so far!

My main oc is Ingrid Euchre, but I also have Tarak, Prashant, and Aadesh, whom I created for a fan event and also out of sheer spite for twsts blatant antiblackness and orientalism. I'm working on another oc for the same fan event, so I'll share more about that when I have more details!

I also have a yuusoma named Arabella who is shipped with Skully but she is totally separate from any yumeships and is not a literal portrayal of myself ☝🏼

I'm procrastinating on artwork because drawing is the devil but hopefully soon I'll have some proper designs to show for the boys! Prashant and Aadesh attend RSA together, and Tarak is a prince. So far (aside from Ingrid) Prashant has been my favourite to draw (WIP), but Aadesh was my favourite to design. I'm really excited to properly introduce Tarak in the event, as he's the star of the show!

It is equal parts hilarious and unfortunate. Riddle hates her to begin with too 😭😭

In all seriousness though, polyamory is the solution!!! So eventually, after much drama and many shenanigans within the main storyline: Ace, Riddle and Ingrid form a polyamorous trio, and Deuce is just a friend.
