August 12, where are you?
That was a valid point. If Louie had needed to run he would probably get even more lost but then again if he was lucky enough he would have found his way back home. “I would have ran but not in an order to find home but a place with lots of people, someone would have helped me, right?” but then again Louie wasn’t too fast when it came running and he got exhausted easily. If any of the Beagle Boys were after him he would have get caught by them.
Louie’s expression fell and he squint lightly. Yes Louie should have at least asked a permission but in his defense he thought he’d get back home in thirty minutes since the game store weren’t too far away. And what came to asking for a ride. “I would have but our personal driver was nowhere to be found, and Huey told me he was somewhere with Dewey so scratch that. Uncle Scrooge does not drive a vehicle, Beakley had her own duties, Ghost Butler is a huge nope. . .” the Louie paused as he debated what to say next. Yes the only option was Donald- . .
“- . . . And I was gonna ask you but I noticed you having a relaxing day and I thought I’d much rather let you have it rather than become a personal driver for me-... buuut I guess that didn’t go as planned” Now Louie had not only interrupted, if not ruined, his uncle’s day off, but also walked nearly two hours around for nothing since he won’t be playing his new game apparently.
“When can I have my game back?”
“Well fine, silent phone call it is” Louie replied with a shrug as he placed his phone on a bench but of course putting his uncle on a speaker just in case he starts talking suddenly. While listening car sound through his phone Louie slowly turned his gaze up to look at the cloudy sky as he was waiting his uncle to pick him up. Hoping he wasn’t too mad at him for traveling this far all alone, without a permission. All this made the boy gently rub his temple, he was in trouble wasn’t he.
Well not in as big trouble as Donald who got pulled aside by police. Without hesitation Louie brought phone back to his ear and listened what was happening. Ahahaha, did uncle Donald actually got a ticket for speeding? Speeding!? That’s something you won’t hear every day. Louie was holding back a laughter but soon instead of laughing he just facepalmed. Well that was boring as hell. Not even a warning because Donald was part of McDuck clan. Great, that just thought Louie that he should keep scamming people and get away with it just because he is part of this family.
As the familiar stopped at the rest stop Louie did debate for a moment which seat should he take a shotgun where it was way too easy to yell at him or backseat where he could hide himself by sitting behind Donald. With a sigh Louie hand up the phone as he opened the door and climbed in a car, he took the shotgun because he could easily mess with the radio of the car from here.
“Speeding, seriously? I wasn’t even in a danger of any sort, just lost” Louie had to scold his uncle while he put on the seat belt.
“Hehheey it’s weekend! You guys know what that means? Two days nothing but relaxing, taking longer naps and watching tv! Please do not need or bother me”
As much as Louie loved to live in a huge rich mansion and have worlds richest person as a relative he did miss the times when they could go outside, sure not without a permission like he did today, but without needing to worry that every other person might kidnap him for ransom or something like that. Louie rolled his eyes at his uncles words. Everything he said was true but still it did irritate this duckling a whole lot for not being able to do things like normal kids does.
Louie slowed his walking pace down when Donald mentioned a rest stop which he did pass a moment ago- With an annoyed grunt he made yet another u turn to get to the rest stop.
“If you manage to get here in 10 instead of 20 you’re either gonna be my hero or gonna get speeding ticket from the police” Louie joked around a little just to light the mood. “I’m at the rest stop by the way” he add before waddling to the only bench they had in there.
“Let’s chit-chat shall we, otherwise this might turn into really awkward silent phone call and nobody wants that. So how’s your day been so far?” let the boy have a normal chat before getting grounded for life.
Time flies when you’re laying down and checking your phone

As expect Donald raised his voice which made Louie hold the phone far away from his ear momentarily, slowly bringing it back when there was no yelling to be heard. In a way the green hooded duckling knew he should have called Huey instead because his uncle might ground him forever for leaven the mansion area all alone just to get himself a new video game. Without anyones permission or an adult supervising.
“Calm down uncle Donald. I’m not gonna get killed or kidnapped or anything like that.” he tried to explain in calm tone in his voice. He would make a run for it if Beagle Boys shows up, and he would stay on a sidewalk to keep himself as safe as possible. But at this point Louie could tell a good lie why he was here in the first place but instead he decided to tell the truth, leaving some minor details out. “And this was unintentional. My goal was just to pick up my new game and then head back home. Never knew I could end up walking around the city this long” It had been nearly two hours and Louie had tried to find his way back home, he really did try but ended up being more lost. But now it was time to make an u turn to find a nearest bus stop.
“How long is it gonna take you to get here? Just saying that I’m getting hungry and I already ate my last candy bar some time ago.” Louie tried to spot the bus stop while walking slowly. “Should we hang up tho, it’s dangerous to drive and talk to you cellphone at the same time”
“Uncle Donald appreciation hour! Everyone who has something against him are gonna answer to me”
