Me and my Love have decided to create an account on this platform so we can better interact with you all, and answer any questions you may have for us!

I feel it's more accurate to say you dragged me into this.

Oh hush now- you agreed, didn't you? Anyways, feel free to ask us anything you'd like! Within reason, of course. We can't wait to meet all you wonderful people!

Hi! I, @wolfieworks , have decided to make a roleplay blog based on my Shared Power AU. As time goes on I hope to post more info about it- but for now, please feel free to send any questions you have, and I'll do my best to provide information!

You can send asks to both Sage and Recluse, and I'll respond in character. Please keep in mind that I am...quite new to this. I don't have much experience roleplaying, but I will try my best! If you'd like, you can also bring your OCs into this, and roleplay with me! Just please don't try to change anything that's directly connected to the AU story/my headcanons. On that note-

Rules:

-be kind: I don't want any drama here, so please be kind and respectful to both me and anyone who interacts with this blog. If you are not, you will be blocked.

-no NSFW: I am a minor, and there is a high chance of minors interacting with this blog, so I am not comfortable with any overly explicit behavior.

-no AI: please do not roleplay using AI generated words/images/anything, or feed my words/drawings into AI. If you support/use AI 'art', chatbots, etc.: please leave now. You are not welcome here.

*after somehow examining the gambling anon with children ms toys as medical equipment. The doctor anon suddenly phases their hand right through gambling anons stomach. When the doctor anon removes their hand they are holding the half digested remains of the treat gamble anon had ate.*

“Now that the source is removed I just have to remove the remaining poison from their system”

*the doctor anon tosses the half digested treat in a evidence bag handing it off to an anon in a police costume. Afterwards grabbing a piece of ritual chalk from one of their pockets. And beginning to draw a ritual circle to remove any remaining poison from the gambling anon* gambler/gamble/gambling anon

Sage: ...eugh. Ehm, are you...are they... alright?

Recluse: What??? How- how did...you...huh???

(He says this as he scoots closer to Recluse's side, wrapping his arms around him in a mildly possessive manner. Recluse chuckles slightly, but says nothing)

The two new cookies land on the ground pretty hard, and although they look similar to their counterparts, there are some parts that look different. Recluse's robes are shortened down to a bodysuit and a short cape, while Sage seems far taller than normal.

(Sage's head snaps up at the sound of the cookies landing)

Sage: Ah! Why, hello there! Who might you be?

(after hearing the thump and the sound of Sage's voice, Recluse enters the room as well. He pauses when he sees the two cookies on the floor)

Recluse: Ehm...yes, hello. Are...you two versions of us? Sage and I seem to keep meeting variants of ourselves...

*an anon in a clearly cheap doctors costume goes up to, the passed out gamble anon. Placing the end of what is clearly a children’s toy stethoscope on gamble anons chest.* -Gambeing anon

Recluse: Ehm...are you...quite sure that'll work?

If you'd like, I could use my healing magic-

Sage: Nuh-uh! They got themselves into this predicament- it's not on you to get them out of it!

Recluse: Sage. You are the one who encouraged them. And although it wasn't me doing so, I am still partly responsible for your actions.

(Sage falters a little)

Sage: Well- uh...well, they still were the one trying to do it! Either way, no matter whose fault it is, you shouldn't have to waste your energy. I'll do it for you, if I must!

Recluse: Sage, it really doesn't matter either way. Our power being connected means our energy is connected too. Your energy is my energy.

Sage: I know that! I-i just...I dunno...I'm sorry...

(Recluse pauses, then smiles softly)

Recluse: Hey, it's alright My Love. Here, you know what? These anons are full of surprises- let's wait a moment and see if they can't get this sorted out themselves.

Recluse ummm about that….

*anon shows Recluse some video edits of him and Sage. The thirst trap kind of edits.* there are a lot of cookies who find the both of you very very attractive…. I’m just shoo you the tame stuff….. you do not want to see the less safe things trust me…..

(They both stare at the videos for a moment. After a little, Recluse turns away. However, Sage stays staring at the videos. Particularly the ones of Recluse)

Sage: Sooooo, uh. Anon. Lovely, amazing anon. Is there any way you could permanently lend me this device?

For scholarly reasons, of course!

(This earns him a slight bonk on the head from Recluse)

Recluse: Sage, control yourself.

Sage: Hey, c'mon! Can you blame me?

Recluse: Huh! Well I "Regret" to inform you that we don't have insulation. The spells me and Sage put on this place protect it from outside weather without the need for that pesky pink stuff...

Sage: You're right, my Recluse! Oh, but it would be such a shame to deprive this poor Anon of their desired snack, would it not?

(He snaps his fingers, summoning up a large pile of insulation on the floor in front of them)

Sage: Here ya go, eat your fill!

Recluse: Sage!

You were on an adventure with dark angel then you would see it after she defeated some monsters their was destruction around the place not do to the monster fight but when losing control of powers when she was surrounded by angry mob her in tears shouting “ I… I…. Didn’t … ask … for for this I never I asked to be created it wasn’t my fault I was created this way ! “

(Sage's eyes immediately widen as he sees Dark Angel, then narrow in a glare at the mob surrounding her. He summons a large wave of magic, creating a barrier between them and Dark Angel. Recluse hurries over to Dark Angel's side, and Sage follows.)

Recluse: Angel! Dear, are you alright? What happened?

Sage: Those- those pests... how could they-

(He's seething with barely-constained anger at the people who were scaring Dark Angel, but manages to calm himself down a little)

She looks at them both fear in eyes she was trembling and shaking a lot and she says“ I’m sorry I’m sorry I didn’t mean to I was only trying help and I just got scared and lost control “

(He pulls her in for a gentle yet comforting hug. Once Sage ensures the barrier will last, at least for the time being, he joins the two)

Sage: Yes, it's alright little one. We know it's not your fault...if you don't mind, could you please explain to us what happened?

She’s crying a bit “ is it okay if I don’t …”

Sage: Yeah! We can take a nap, or just relax for a little while, if that's what you want!

She just clings onto sage “ can we go to the bakery in the village near by here and I get sweets “

Sage: Of course! That sounds like a perfect idea to me- all three of us can get some donuts!

(him and Recluse lead Dark Angel to the mentioned bakery, a cozy little spot in town made of wood. Boxes below the windows that host a variety of flowers give the bakery a cozy look.)

“ can I pick whatever sweets I like “

Sage: Of course!

Recluse: Hm, let's see...how about you both pick out a drink and three sweets each. Maybe you can have more after dinner, but for now I think three is plenty.

(Sage pouts, but then sighs)

Sage: Ah, I suppose you're right, my love. C'mon, let's go pick out some sweets!

(they go over to the menu to see what options there are. Recluse ends up just getting a cup of tea and a savory tart. Sage also gets tea, although he chooses three sweet snacks.)

She pouts she wasn’t crying anymore she was back to herself

(Sage chuckles, and picks her up. He's glad she seems to be feeling better)

Sage: here ya go! There, is that better?

(He smiles and continues looking at the menu, occasionally pointing out different item options that Dark Angel could try)

Sage: Oooh, an Eldritch Creature?? How exciting!

Yes, that would be quite interesting to see- so long as the creature doesn't flirt with my Recluse...

Recluse: Wait- wait...before we see this... Eldritch Creature...is it safe?

Sage: Aw, c'mon Recluse! What's the harm in a litte danger?

Recluse: ....well, I'm not sure. Possibly a lot

Sage: Eh, I'm sure we'll be fine!

Sage: "Owie...where are we? Recluse?"

The black pile on the ground barely lets out a response, just snaps his head up and scans the environment before flopping down again.

Sage: "I...don't know what I expected from that. Sorry."

(Sage jumps slightly, looking towards the two cookies on the ground)

Sage: Aah! Who are you two?!

(at the sound of Sage's yell, Recluse comes hurrying into the room)

Recluse: Sage! Are you alright? What's going on?

Sage finally floats up from where he was on the ground, giving a half hearted bow.

Sage: "Ahem, sorry for bursting in so suddenly, but I believe we are alternate versions of each other. I am the Sage of Truth, and this-"

Recluse stumbles up and coughs, more of that black substance crawling onto the ground. His face is distorted into an uncharacteristically wide grin, and his eyes are pure black and hollow, devoid of any life whatsoever. With a wave of his staff, he clears away some of the glitch before it has the chance to spread.

Sage: "...Is the Truthless Recluse."

Sage: huh?! So you're...other versions of us? Interesting! How'd you get here?

And...uh, is your companion over there alright? He looks unwell...is he sick?

(Recluse shivers slightly)

Recluse: yes...what is that substance?

[thefoxmultiverse]

Sage: "It's...an infection. One that's taken over our world and done...this to almost everyone. It's a parasite, and it's taken him away from me..."

Recluse looks incredibly skinny and tired, upon closer inspection, as if the glitch wouldn't allow him to rest for even a moment. He swayed as his breathing was labored, a struggle to survive even for him. The only thing of note was a ring on his finger. He was married, which had some sad implications between the two of them.

Sage: "I...haven't figured out a way to cure him. And things are tight at HQ, that I have such much to focus on. But ah, I don't want to worry you both too much. We just got here."

...Sage also looks incredibly exhausted. They both needed rest badly, it seemed.

Sage: Oh- oh my. I'm sorry to hear that, that sounds horrible...

(he looks at them sympathetically, fidgeting with his own ring)

Recluse: There's no cure, you say? Is there anything Sage and I can do to help?

I mean no offense, but you two look absolutely exhausted. You can rest here, if you'd like.

[thefoxmultiverse]

Sage: "Well, I suppose I can. But I've tried everything for Recluse. He can't even eat, thank the witches neither of us can starve..."

Recluse begins to move, although very very slowly. He reaches out for the other two, before Sage catches on and uses magic to push him back.

Sage: "...Direct contact is dangerous. Sorry- Neither of us should be here right now..."

But suddenly, a fox appears-?! It snickers, as if it knows what's about to happen.

Recluse: I understand- if there's anything we can do to help, let us know! Sage is quite intelligent on many matters, the two of you may be able to think of something if you work together.

(Sage is about to agree when the fox jumps in. He looks at it, startled)

Sage: huh? Weird, how'd that get in the spire?

[thefoxmultiverse]

The fox slams its paws on the ground, and a strange magic overtakes the entire spire, turning the lights dim and creepy. Not only that, but Sage disappears with a startled "WAIT-" and is seemingly transported somewhere else.

Recluse's disposition immediately changes once Sage disappears, and for a moment he looks around with a blank expression. The fox takes advantage of his confusion and trots in front of the two other counterparts.

Fox Witch: "Mkay, sooo without Sage present, Recluse can get a liiittle antsy. I'd suggest you grab your weapons. Don't touch the black goop, unless you wanna end up like him. BYE!"

And with that, the fox disappears. Recluse finally looks up at the two of them, hearing their movement. After all, he was fully blind in this state. He would have to rely on his other senses to track his prey down...

Sage: AAAH! WHAT-

(He's cut off as Recluse quickly grabs him arm, pulling him behind himself. He holds his staff in front of them both to act as a shield. He then speaks in a quiet tone, almost a whisper.)

Recluse: Sage, be quiet. We need to get out of here- create a portal and we should be able to back up into it

(a moment passes as Sage tries to do as Recluse said. Then another moment. Then another.)

Sage: Recluse...?

Recluse: Yes? What's the holdup?

Sage: ...my magic's not working...

(Off in the distance, unknown to the group, a wolf smiles then disappears into the shadows)

Recluse spasms, the glitchy darkness rising up and summoning his staff. Its eyes were wide open as well, expelling more of that substance like tears.

Recluse: "̷͎̀H̴̯̽e̵̘̅-̶͚̒e̶̝͗l̸̢̈p̴͍͛.̸̲̈.̶̧̀.̵̝̃"̶͂͜

He screams and charges at the two of them with reckless abandon, his staff sharpening like a blade as he approaches. He aims for the other Sage first, swinging his staff down trying to cut him in half.

(Sage is stunned still for a moment as he watches the corruption take control of the other Recluse)

Sage: What did...he say? What's-

Recluse: SAGE, RUN!

(Recluse manages to shove Sage out of the blow's range just in time. This snaps Sage out of it, and he immediately takes off running, Recluse following close behind.

While they're running, Recluse swirls his staff and uses it to make a puff of thick fog that trails behind them and spreads, intending to obscure the view of them)

Recluse: what do you mean you're magic's not working?! Mine's working, yours should too!

Sage: I don't know, I'm just as confused as you are!!

Sage: "Well, I suppose I can. But I've tried everything for Recluse. He can't even eat, thank the witches neither of us can starve..."

Recluse begins to move, although very very slowly. He reaches out for the other two, before Sage catches on and uses magic to push him back.

Sage: "...Direct contact is dangerous. Sorry- Neither of us should be here right now..."

But suddenly, a fox appears-?! It snickers, as if it knows what's about to happen.

Recluse: I understand- if there's anything we can do to help, let us know! Sage is quite intelligent on many matters, the two of you may be able to think of something if you work together.

(Sage is about to agree when the fox jumps in. He looks at it, startled)

Sage: huh? Weird, how'd that get in the spire?

[thefoxmultiverse]

The fox slams its paws on the ground, and a strange magic overtakes the entire spire, turning the lights dim and creepy. Not only that, but Sage disappears with a startled "WAIT-" and is seemingly transported somewhere else.

Recluse's disposition immediately changes once Sage disappears, and for a moment he looks around with a blank expression. The fox takes advantage of his confusion and trots in front of the two other counterparts.

Fox Witch: "Mkay, sooo without Sage present, Recluse can get a liiittle antsy. I'd suggest you grab your weapons. Don't touch the black goop, unless you wanna end up like him. BYE!"

And with that, the fox disappears. Recluse finally looks up at the two of them, hearing their movement. After all, he was fully blind in this state. He would have to rely on his other senses to track his prey down...

Sage: AAAH! WHAT-

(He's cut off as Recluse quickly grabs him arm, pulling him behind himself. He holds his staff in front of them both to act as a shield. He then speaks in a quiet tone, almost a whisper.)

Recluse: Sage, be quiet. We need to get out of here- create a portal and we should be able to back up into it

(a moment passes as Sage tries to do as Recluse said. Then another moment. Then another.)

Sage: Recluse...?

Recluse: Yes? What's the holdup?

Sage: ...my magic's not working...

(Off in the distance, unknown to the group, a wolf smiles then disappears into the shadows)

You guys were wandering a village when you would see some scared cookies shouting about a monster

Recluse: ...! Huh? What's all that commotion about?

Sage: I'm not sure...hm. we better go check it out.

The cookies say they saw this cookie with eyes on her wings and appear after a monster attack and they were scared

Sage: a cookie? Eyes on wings...huh. I don't think I've seen anyone matching that description before- at least not in town.

Recluse: hm, same here. You said this cookie appeared after a monster attack, correct? Is everyone alright? I can heal any injured- then Sage and I will go out and search for the cookie you saw.

After you healed the villagers and went out you would finally find the cookie they described the child the second they saw you gets got scared and hid

Sage: Wha- hey! Wait, little one...who are you?

Recluse: Please, can you come out? We're just confused, we want to know what's going on.

“ are you going to hurt me ? “

She comes out of hiding she seems defensive but for the moment the eyes on wings are gone and she’s in her normal form she had short black hair wore a black hoodie and black pants had black eyes and black wings and tightly held a pink bunny plushie

Recluse: No, no of course not. We won't hurt you, we promise.

Sage: Yeah! Like My Love said, we're just a little confused right now. Can you tell us what your name is, and why you've come here? We don't usually get newcomers in this village!

Recluse: indeed, we don't. My name is Truthless Recluse, and this is Sage.

Shaking a little she says “ I’m dark Angel cookie I live in an abandoned cabin near here on my own are you guys nice adults “

Recluse: It's nice to meet you, Dark Angel Cookie. Yes, we are nice. Sage and I actually work to protect this village from harm, and keep things running.

Sage: Yeah! So...you live out here by yourself? Don't you have someone who takes care of you?

“ yeah I do I’m basically alone it’s sad at times “

Sage: I'm sorry to hear that, little one. Are you... alright?

Recluse: Living alone... can't be very nice. I know firsthand how lonely it can get.

...Dark Angel, if you don't have anyone to take care of you, and you don't have a nice home, then...would you be interested in living in the village with me and Sage?

Sage: Oh, yes that's a magnificent idea! You'd be part of the community then, you'd have lots of people to take care of you!

“ I want to stay with you guys but the villagers won’t accept me I want to be cared for I want a home “

She goes over to recluse hugging him while crying she seemed to have bruises and her wings broken a bit from the battle

(Recluse's eyes widen a little in surprise at the hug, then widen even further when he notices her injuries)

Recluse: Oh...little one...

Well...

If you were to stay with Sage and I- live with us, that is- then we'd make sure the others in the village treated you kindly. I'm sure after the confusion was cleared up they'd adore you.

Sage: Yeah! And even if they didn't, well. Me and 'Clusey and kiiiinda the protectors of the village, so they're not gonna go against us!

[ausandthings]

She looks at you guys and says “ then I would love that but umm could I request to be picked up “

Sage: Of course! C'mere, me and Clusey can take you back to our home and get you all situated!

(Sage holds his arms out, so Dark Angel can climb into them)

[ausandthings]

She just runs over to sage and lets him lift her up

(Sage picks her up, holding her securely in his arms. Him and Recluse begin walking back to the Village, leaving the forest behind.

Eventually, they make it back to town, and continue heading towards their home)

Sage: Here, Dark Angel! This is our town- you're new home! Oh, you'll love it here once you get to know it!

Recluse: Indeed. It is a nice town- there's lots to do, too.

She’s just running around exploring she looks at everything in awe “ oh my gosh a libary I love I can read so many books and an observatory oh wow I could get a better look at stars “

Sage: Heh, I'm glad you're so excited! Feel free to take a look around the spire, there's a lot here to explore!

Recluse: There is! Are you hungry? If so, we could take a look at the kitchen.

“ yes I wanna take a look at the kitchen please may I go there “

Recluse: of course! Come, it's this way- we'll get you some food.

(he leads her to the kitchen, Sage following as well. When they get there he gestures towards the many shelves and cupboards)

Recluse: here's the kitchen. There's lots of options for food- what are some of your favorite things to eat?

“ i like jelly stew and sweets “

Sage: Alright, Jelly stew it is! Heh, and I'll see what we can do about sweets- we probably have something that'll work!

(he uses his magic to bring forth the ingredients necessary for jelly stew, dumping them all into a pot. Using magic again, he heats it up and stirs until all ingredients are cooked, then puts the stew into a bowl. He hands the bowl to Dark Angel.)

Meanwhile, Recluse is searching around the kitchen for sweet treats for Dark Angel. He ends up grabbing some pastries)

(Sage watches as she eats, glad that she's getting food, but worried about the implications of her hunger)

Sage: Little one...have you been getting much to eat? I can't imagine there's much food out in the woods...

Here! I'll make you some more stew, if you're still hungry!
