In the otherwise quiet of the caverns, a hollow metallic thump echoes against the stone door where occasionally jokes can be heard. A long scrape follows, along with a heavy cough, and an unfamiliar voice. "Hello? This is... I know this is crazy, but it's been a rough day, and that skeleton told me this was a good place for a joke. I could... I could really use one right about now," the voice says, followed by a cough. "I could call, but I don't have Collar ID yet. Heh... heh..." ((OOC: Hi! ))

The helmeted figure lifted its head as he at last heard the voice. How long had he been asleep? It had been so easy to rest there in the cold. It took a moment to sort out why someone was apparently leading into a joke - right, he’d asked for it.
“Because it was running from…” the voice replied, and then paused. “Apologies. I should let you finish. Please, do continue.”

It was another peaceful, if rather dull, day in the ruins. Everyone was generally minding their own business, but anyone who had been near a patch of yellow flowers would have been in for quite a surprise when something fell from above, landing on the soft flowerbed with a resounding THUD, and remained motionless.
* Toriel just happened to be making her daily rounds to the flower bed by the hole in the RUINS when she saw a streak of pink fall in. She quickly ran over to the creature, stopping for just a moment when she noticed what had fallen.
* It was… Not human, but at the same time… It was not like any monster she had seen. Maybe it was an animal from the overworld?

A shortcut would be very useful! Though it might be rude to talk to each other with someone else around.
But it’s also important to get your arm, so that would be the better option.
-The little roach had followed this smell from all the way from out side of this tidy home. They tried to avoid the resident at all costs but it was rather difficult to do so, it stood on the table twitching it's feelers to find the source- "/what is that smell?... It's a butterscotch something.. gotta be from the kitchen/" it thought out loud.
* The little roach was not quite sneaky enough! Toriel crouches down to the little bug.
Oh, hello, little one! Did you smell the pie I was making? If you’d like, I could share it with you!
The little roach rolled into her hands when she scooped them up, it lightly flailed their legs before rolling back on their feet. Bor didn’t seem unphased at her quick acceptance for being a talking bug, when baked goods is in the area most things go over their head. The bug might bring it up at some point.
“This may sound greedy of me, but may I have two pieces? This whole sneaking around biz made me really hungry~”
Do not worry! I make plenty of pie. It is made to be shared.
* Toriel smiles at the small bug, putting a few small pieces on the smallest plate she owns.
* She then puts the plate, as well as the bug, on the dining room table.
