Henry gasped and spun around with his back to her bare figure. He began sputtering and babbling, “Holy crap, I’m so sorry. I don’t know why I didn’t knock. Well I guess I knew why because I didn’t think you were in here. Oh gosh why would I think you wouldn’t be in here it’s your room. What am I saying? I’m sorry I should probably go.”

Alice giggled to herself at how flustered he was by her nudity. She picked up the nearest thing to her, which happened to be a towel, and covered herself with it, for his sake. “Don’t be sorry, dear. Actually…” Alice walked to the door with a special swing in her hips, excited by her new plan of action and the path her attempt at seduction could lead down. She closed the door before he could escape, leaning against it and ‘accidentally’ letting the towel drop from her fingertips. “I think you should stay…”

"You know Alice, I-i-i-i REALLY think i should go you know with everything going on and…ummm, you know….ummm….stuff…" Henry was trying open the door…but it was locked. He was trying so hard not to expose himself to her nakedness. All he could do for the time being was keep his eyes locked with hers.

"Aw… Leaving so soon?" Alice pouted and looked at the ground, giggling to herself and crossing her arms over her stomach. When she looked up, she seemed to really see exactly how much Henry didn’t like the situation. She wasn’t being sexy, she was making him uncomfortable. "Oh Jesus, I’m so sorry Henry. You’re serious." Alice scrambled to find clothes, pulling a random jacket off the floor and hastily pulling it around her. She dove behind a chair for a pair of shorts, emerging with her business covered. "You’ll have to forgive me, I don’t know what came over me."

“Well, ummm…..let’s just not let something like this happen again, alright? We don’t want…ummm…CERTAIN people finding out about our little interaction. Now if you don’t mind, I would appreciate it if you would unlock the door so I can leave while you properly dress yourself.” Henry didn’t want anything more than to leave her room and never come back at this point. The only reason he was speaking somewhat proper was so he could speak at all. Suddenly he remembered why he came to find her at all. “Oh, I forgot to tell you. They’re waiting for you downstairs.”

"Oh my gosh I’m so sorry Henry." Alice was so embarrassed by her own behavior; she couldn’t even begin to imagine how Henry felt. He reminded her of the people waiting for her downstairs and she mentally swore. “Regina’s ball. Right.” She pressed herself against the door, her nerves for the night suddenly flooding into her mind all at once. Despite how awkward she had made their interaction, Henry was levelheaded and knew how to handle her when she stressed out. She needed him with her. “Henry, please don’t leave. I promise I won’t get naked anymore, but please. If I’m all by myself, I might go insane. Please stay with me?”

"Fine….I’ll wait outside." Henry knew that when Regina wanted something done, she wanted it then and now. "Hurry up, though. We both know that if you don’t come down, she’ll come up."

"Thank you." She breathed, unlocking the door and allowing Henry to make his escape. "But please, don’t leave?" She closed the door and made a desperate jump for her closet, stripping off her clothes and pulling on the borrowed dress from Snow in record time. Alice had taken Henry’s words of Regina a bit more seriously than he probably meant. She finally emerged with clothes on and breathed out, more nervous than ever. She was flustered and still burning with embarrassment, so she was sure she looked a bloody mess. “I’m ready. How do I look?”

Henry examined her tight fit ball gown carefully.  She had thrown on a jeweled crown worn by Snow herself. He didn't want to admit it then and there, but she looked utterly beautiful considering what just happened between them. It was a bit long for her small frame, but it would have to do for the time being. He brushed a loose  strand of hair away from her eyes and tucked it gently behind her ear. He quickly shoved his hands into his pants pockets. "It will have to do for the time being. Now hurry up before Regina throughs another one of her hissy-fits."
