I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t like Okuyasu and that makes me happy

I don’t like Oku and I don’t see why the fandom likes him so much. I don’t know what’s so endearing about him like can someone please let me know this

Ok here we go - Okuyasu starts out as someone who doesn’t value himself - he blindly follows his older brother’s orders and in general doesn’t consider himself worthy of acting on his own or having his own ideas and desires. He thinks his brother is right in everything even though what Keicho does is glaringly dangerous not to mention harmful to others - we can basically assume that he’s lived his entire life under his brother’s shadow, thinking him the smartest, most capable of the two and therefore not valuing himself.
When we first meet him, he’s dead-set in harming Josuke because that’s what his brother wants but upon seeing kindness from Josuke when he heals him, Okuyasu is deeply conflicted for the first time and decides to act on instinct rather than in blind obedience to Keicho - and that ultimately leads to (in my opinion) a very moving moment with their father and finally his brother’s death. Now we all know from later chapters that he badly wants to avenge his brother but I also believe he blamed himself for Keicho’s death right until the end. Being friends with Josuke and the others and fighting by their side finally gave him an opportunity to be and act by himself and in the climax of the fight against Kira, when Okuyasu “returns” from the dead, he gives one of the best monologues of the series, finally removing himself from his brother’s shadow for good and accepting Keicho is gone forever. And that’s the core of it - Okuyasu doesn’t have a drop of malice in his body, even though he might tell you he’s “a street punk”, he’s really just a teenager who grew up with very low self esteem, and to see him evolve during the series through his interactions with other characters is pretty rewarding.
See how I avoided mentioning other obvious, but less profound facts that make him likeable? Like his goofiness and his hilarious adventures with Josuke? Those are just the icing on the cake and that’s why, in my opinion, Okuyasu is so likeable - he knows he’s not the smartest one in the room but he learned to pick himself up and be his own person instead of being someone else’s puppet.
I hope this makes sense to people who don’t really appreciate him - of course your opinion is completely valid, tastes are subjective but this is why I, personally, find Okuyasu one of the most endearing characters in the series.
THEY ASK YOU HOW YOU ARE & you just have to say that YOU’RE FINE - when you’re NOT REALLY FINE but you just can’t get into it because THEY WOULD NEVER UNDERSTAND.

Back in 2015 you demanded that the FCC adopt strict net neutrality rules and establish a free and open internet. And you won.
That should’ve been the end of it. But apparently not.
The new head of the FCC wants to undo the net neutrality protections you fought so hard for.
His proposed changes open the door to your web traffic being slowed down, or even blocked altogether. You could be forced to pay extra to use your favorite apps. You could even be prevented from getting news from the sources you trust.
Title II protects consumers and democracy by ensuring all voices can be heard.
You know the drill. Here’s what to do:
The FCC is taking comments from the public, and dearfcc.org is making it as simple as possible for you to make your voice heard.

You’ll just need to provide a name, an address, and then say a little bit about why rolling back Title II protections is a bad idea. If you’re not quite sure what to write, here’s something to get you started:
I’m writing to urge you to keep our Open Internet rules based on Title II in place. Without them, we could lose the internet as we know it.
The proposed changes to FCC rules would allow fast lanes for sites that pay, and force everyone else into slow lanes. We’ve already seen access to streaming services like Netflix, popular games like League of Legends, and communication platforms like FaceTime slowed down, or even blocked. Conditions like this hurt businesses large and small, and penalize the users who patronize them.
The changes also open the door to unfair taxes on internet users, and could also make it harder for blogs, nonprofits, artists, and others who can’t pay up to have their voices heard.
Please leave the existing existing net neutrality rules based on Title II in place.
