Ace/Deuce ended up completely destroying them in the finals, but I still made an alternate victory artwork just in case Ace/Riddle actually won.

If you'll allow me to say, I hope that some of the more interesting character dynamics and ships don't get voted out against ships that haven't had very many interactions at all or as much of an interesting dynamic just because of the problematic aspects of the ship 😅 of course, people are free to choose whatever they want and avoid voting for whatever ships they want in the end lol!!

Yeah we haven't run into this issue much yet, simply because the only problematic ships so far have been ones that are already extremely rare pairs. Like with zero works on Ao3 or Pixiv at the time of bracket creation, Riddle/Ortho probably wouldn't have won even without anyone voting for Riddle/Trey solely to not vote a ship the fandom has deemed "pedophilia".

But me and Mod Sebek have already started discussing ways to make sure larger problematic ships *cough* leechcest *cough* still get a fair chance.

It's been driving me crazy how much people with "problematic" shippers in their DNIs keep trying to interact with this tournament, when its entire premise is that all ships deserve to be included. Like you don't have to like a ship if you don't want to, but if you're insisting that people who like things you don't are pedophiles and abusers, what are you even doing here?
