HW #11

I am sad to say that this will be the final blog post for this semester. I enjoyed this process due to the fact that this social media is one of my favorites and I was able to share my thoughts on various topics. Throughout this semester I learned many things, while using this social media as a gateway. I have learned how to keep my thoughts as neutral as possible and carefully not offend others and their opinions. I believe that I am exceptionally good at coming up with genuine topics to talk about but also I have a very different approach and idea about that topic. I advocate for my ideas, but I keep an open mind to anyone else that has an opinion. That is another thing that I am good at, which is keeping and open mind, taking in ideas, and then changing my way of thinking if the ideas given are significant. Things that I need to work on is giving more evidence for my ideas, I understand that my opinion is my opinion but I do still need evidence to back it up. The reason because Is because no one will believe my opinion if it does not have any facts backing the idea up. I really do think that these blogs that I have written throughout this semester has help me find my ideas and make them clearer when they come out on paper. Before I started this class I had great ideas but whenever I tried to write them they came out unclear and scrambled. I have gotten better because i have started to find clear reasons and clear motives and clear evidence, It has become easier to write for others to understand. I am really glad that I have taken this class because it has given me more tools to help me become a better writer/ blogger.  I do plan on become a blogger of some sort, or someone who critiques clothing or other things in that field of work. So i would help for me to be able to be clear and show one solid idea. In terms of writing from high school to college I would not say that my writing has gotten a lot better, but it has definitely changed. It has been more generalized but also precise at the same time. I have enjoyed the curriculum and how we used it to our and my advantage.

When reading other people blog’s it was difficult to keep as neutral as possible, I feel you 100 percent, because when reading somebody s post sometime you want to come out and say one thing but, you also have to take in concentration off how the blogger would feel if you said something negative, or being biased of what the topic was. Also when talking about a topic giving as much evidence as possible, because I used to do that as well give my opinion, but not give enough behind what I just said, so I think blogging is a great tool that should be used more because it can only but improve you more writing skills.

Blog 11

I can’t believe the semester is almost over, it feels like just the other day we were going on spring break. I’m happy to finally be going home for the summer back to my bed and summer job. I this semester I think for me personally was one of my best semesters. I cracked down on a lot of things. I’m not going to lie blogging every week was a bit annoying but I guess like any habit you just start doing it. I think that blogging helps give people a place to vent and express their feeling whether it be anonymous or not.  It provides an outlet for people to talk about topics that maybe their friends and family may not want to discuss with them. I think people my find that blogging helps them to increase their writing abilities especially when there isn’t a specific topic to talk about. People begin to let their ideas flow more easily without having to sit there and over think a particular topic. Personally I enjoyed blogging sometimes I would just blog to get something off my chest because I felt like the people read might just be able to relate to the story or have a similar story of their own. Blogging became almost like an online diary or journal entry that people could comment on or share with friends. But back to the end of the semester I really can’t believe I’m going to be a junior I feel like college time is so much faster than high school or middle school. I felt like I was in high school for ever but with college the time just flies away and you never realize it until the end of the spring semester. It’s nerve wracking knowing that you are almost officially an adult and have to be responsible for yourself. It is a surreal thing like just the other day I was 15 and asking my mom for a puppy and now I’m damn near 20 and have to work and make my own money to support my own lifestyle. I honestly don’t know how people can ever be completely ready for life after school especially when that’s all you know. From the time you are 5 to 21 all you know is how to learn things from a teacher or professor. It’s amazing how well we as people can adjust to different stages in life.

I agree with you I feel that blogging gives you a place where you can just vent, and whatever is on your chest at that time or whatever you are feeling that moment, you can just start blogging and just say how you feel. Also Improving your writing, and word structure when you don’t even really realize that’s happening because you are just saying what you are feeling at that specific moment in time. I think blogging gives you a sense of just freedom to just say whatever you feel, that is reasonable and not disrespectful, but it gives you an opportunity to just be free.

Blog #11

In this blog, I am going to to be speaking about about how I have developed through these past blogs and what I have learned from this semester. Going through my blogs I have noticed a few things that should be working on as a writer. It seems like I need to start reading more books and writing more. I would want my readers to understand the meaning in my writing without them reading my blog whether if it makes sense or not. Additionally, I am happy to know that my vocabulary has gotten a little bit better, since I had to go into a thesaurus almost every week to find synonyms for either complex words or words that come by a lot. I  also found love into writing/typing. At first I thought 400 words were a lot to do every week but now it feels pretty short and easy to do. If my professor told me I would have to right 4,400 words on tumblr, not including our projects. I would have been afraid to continue taking the course, but instead of it just making me feel depleted, it built me to become a writer. Stating that I feel like the message of our professor making us do all this including everything this semester is that she wanted us to use our voices. To show us how it feels to be heard, how it feel to listen, and how important it is to do so. For an example our discussion in class a few weeks ago about Sojourner Truth’s “Ain’t I a Woman”. We spoke about how Truth used her voice, which made me understand why we blog. It is an opinion but it makes sense from the reason why we do not just come together in class, discussing about our feelings and point of view. Despite the fact that I do not like social media and never wanted a tumblr, I understand that I learned to speak my mind. To peach and convince without hurting anyone’s beliefs or feelings. I have enjoyed these blogs to be honest. Rather me being to myself and suppressing my ideas, I shared my beliefs with other people. No matter if they agree with me or disagree, every opinion has a value. Overall, these exchanging blogs has been pretty cool, to know how others feel about specific topics. I have notice how differently people can think but agree on similar things.

About social media I feel the same way you do, when we had to set up a Tumblr to blog I was like what I really did not want to do it, and at first I felt like how is this in any way going to help me write, let alone become a better writer that I ‘am already. But like you said it gives you a place to really speak your mind, and also give your opinion on how you feel about something without hurting the other person, or seeming like you are coming off as rude to that person.

Blogging Views

I feel that by me starting to blog it has helped me become a better writing. It has gave me more confidence in my work. I no longer have that feeling of oh I suck as a writer or it does not make any sense. Blogging has made me a very creative writer and I enjoyed the whole idea of it. I feel that I explain things way better. Than how I did when I first started and I find evidence to back it up.  But what I find funny the most is when she, said we were going to be blogging every week my first thought was oh this is going to be hard and lame. But after during it every week and getting comfortable I started to enjoy it. It gave me the chance to open up and let out what I was feeling. I learned how to write to an audience so they can relate to the subject and enjoy what I was writing about for that week. Being able to provide details and explaining my point better so people can understand what I am talking about. Grabbing the audience attention when they first start reading. So they know this is something worth reading so don’t pass it by. Blogging has changed me in so many ways that I am happy that I got from this. It created a person who is no longer shy anymore. It made my writing more stronger and made it easy for people to relate to it. It helped me focus on one subject instead of talking about everything in one blog. Showed me how others may feel about a topic that I might not agree with. I am so  grateful that blogging has helped me open up, but provide structure in my writing. All professor’s at Buffalo State College should have students blog every week because it really does make a difference. It makes you mind start working and think about other things that you find important. That is why I am going to continue to blog every week about issues that I think matter or when I am facing a hard time with something. To me blogging reminds me of a diary you can write about anything in the world and who cares if someone judge you. What they think does not matter at all. Blogging has brought so much confidence in my writing that  I have never seen before.

I agree with you 100% I feel like writing these blogs every week only help you as a writer, and that By writing every week you improve so much as a writer, and by doing this every week, there is really no way possible for your writing to get worse, the only thing that can happen, is for your writing to improve. Also I agree with you that blogging gives you the ability to see what others are thinking, and to get their opinion on a topic. I think that blogging is a tool that should be used more throughout college writing courses.

The Tumblr blog’s this semester, it was different for me, a different way to communicate your ideas, and to receive, and send feedback to others on their work that they may have written, or they have voiced their opinion on. Over the semester so far I think my writing has improved quite a bit, I mean when it comes to terms of trying to connect with the readers, and the responding to people who may have read your blog, I think doing this blog helped me out a lot, and that it made me a better communicator when it comes to terms of writing online, and also keeping in mind that other people are going to read you work that you have put together as well as keeping in mind the new techniques that we learned ethos, and pathos as well. So overall I think that I have improved on my writing this semester because of the blog’s. As far as the blog went I think one of my strength’s was that I tried to relate to people as  much as I could, also to give better feedback, and to also just write about what I thought was right, and how to connect with the people. What I might continue to work on as a wrote, is my grammar, and reading my work, because sometimes I write things so fast that I miss out on key things that should, or should not be in my writing. So I think one of the most obvious solutions, is too just read over my work more, and to just slow down a bit when I ‘am writing, I think if I do that my writing will be that much better, and in the long run it will just benefit me.  Also I think blogging has made me a better writer in my other classes, because, of the content every week we had to write four hundred words or more, on a single topic, and I think that some of the topics were easy, with not a lot of guidelines, so when I write these blogs every week it’s just like practicing, so when that big essay comes at the end of the semester. Or when you have to write that five or six page paper, it was preparing us for something more, so I think for the most part these Tumblr blog’s were just practice for much more.

Blog#10 A Class Divided

So in class this week watched a film called a class dived, and in the movie there was this lady who was a teacher from a small town in Illinois, which has  a population of about 3,000 people, also in that town there  was not a single black person in that town. So in the movie is recorded the day after Martin Luther King Jr is shot, and she split the class up into two different categories brown eye kids, and blue eye kids, and one day the brown eye had extra privileges, and the other the blue eye had extra privileges, and what the teacher was trying to get across to the kids, is treat everybody the same no matter what their skin color is.  Then years later she was asked to perform the same exercise with adults who were working in the prisons in New York State. Once again she used the same tactics that she used in the classroom with the 3rd grade class. The adults didn’t handle the exercise too well some of them said that they felt belittled, and treated as a person, or a human being. In those demonstrations that that teacher put together she was trying to get across that racism is wrong that we should all treat each other as the same equal. To show that racism is taught, and that it starts in the home, because as a kid you really don’t see black and white whatever you are taught at home by your parents that is what you start to become.  Also what I felt was important in the movies was that when the kids, and Adults were divide, they did not stand up for the other group that was being oppressed, they just sat there and watched, the bystander effect happened, and that happens every day even now. As a people to this day we see a group being oppressed, and we just sit there and do nothing. Because it is not the group at that time being treated wrong , or not being treated as equally, Black, Hispanics, women, to this day we are not treated equally, or are discriminated against because the color of your skin, or being told you cannot do something because you are a women, or because you are for a different race. The exercise that this woman set up should be implemented in a lot of elementary schools, around the country because if you teach togetherness, it will make racism ultimately disappear because it you teach young kids love and respect for others races it will continue on for generations, and generations.

College Cost blog#9

Why is college so expensive today as opposed to when your parents went to attend College?  I remember some time during my freshman year of college I had this professor, and he was about in his mid to late forties, and he was going on a rant how people in my age group 18 to about 25 have it harder opposed to when he was attending college. He was talking on a range of topics from social media, to why the legal drinking age is now twenty one, and then he started to talk about College costs, and he said when he left college, he only had about 20,000 worth of debt total throughout his years of college, and he has a master degree. I remember the whole class was like how?  it was like how was this possible, and he started to go into detail and explain that his school’s cost of attendance was very cheap, and the fact that he said all College s were a lot cheaper, because everybody was not attending college back then because it was not a requirement back then, and that today it has changed a lot because a lot of employers require a four year degrees, or more for employment. He went on say that more people started enrolling in College’s around the country, and the result was Colleges raising the cost of attendance to attend their College, and basically as a result that is why the cost of attendance is so high today, and also prestigious Universities can charge so much because of their name, and they know that students who get into those universities won’t turn down the opportunity because of the name that it has, and that name will look good on a resume. So he then went on to say that college back in the 60’s, and 70’s was more about finding things about yourself, and that college was not going just to pick a major that will make you a decent amount of money when you leave. That today we pick just pick majors that will make us money, as opposed to something that you really have a passion for, and we try are fastest to get out of college, but in reality we do that today because it’s expensive. I mean if you don’t have an athletic scholarship, or an academic type of scholarship, to help you out in school, it can be expensive, and the way society is today money hungry, and   I think these school rates won’t change any time soon, and by the way student loan debt in America is around 1.2 trillion dollars.

The Justice System

The presidential campaign, what I think is the most important topic during this time, is the Justice System, and what these candidates if elected will do about it. Because America has more incarnated citizens, than any other place in the world, we have police officers killing people of all races, yes African Americans at an higher alarming rate, also its to a point where in certain parts of America it looks like a war zone in some communities between the citizens, and the police who are supposed to protect them. So when the time comes to vote I think the people are looking for a person who can come in and make some reforms to the current Justice system, because so many things are flawed right now, and I think the people need a person who is going to look out of the interest of the people, for example in my opinion I feel like Donald Trump is for himself, and that he does not care what people go through in my personal opinion. But also in my opinion I feel that People like Hillary Clinton, and Bernie Sanders, understand the problem in this country, and I feel that if either one were to get elected they would have some type of plan in store to try and change some of the things that take place in this country.  But my whole position on this topic is that I urge voters to pick the person who has a legit plan to fix these issues in this country, because also how can we be labeled as the best country in the world and have all of these issues/problems, and we can’t solve them. Also I think as voters we should do research on these people, and find out what each person will have planned if they are elected, because as voters it is our duty to put people in office who’s main objective is to fix the problems that are going on in The United States. Not make them worse, and the worst thing that we can do as a country is to put somebody in office just because, for example just because Donald Trump is rich, Or just Because Hillary Clinton is a women, no put them in office because you believe in the vision that they potentially have for this Country, and for what they will bring to the table if they are elected.

The topic that I think we should talk about next class is global Warming, because the environment is changing rapidly, and it’s scary. Like if we do not change the ways that we have been accustomed to for all of these years, there may not be a Earth for much longer.  The other thing is that the Process of global warming is speeding up faster than expected, so not just the united state but All countries all across the world should put their differences aside and try to come up with a solution to this problem, Because it is not going to get any better in less we do something about it.

Sororities and fraternities are always a topic that crosses a student’s mind, when first entering college. Sororities and fraternities are known as a brotherhoods or sisterhoods who share a common purpose or at have the same beliefs. There are many perks to being in sororities and fraternities for one you make many friends, you give back to your community, it looks good on your resume ( if you apply for a job and it just so happened your interviewer is a part of your soro or frat your willingly to get hired), and you often have to live in a Greek house which is much cheaper, less stricter than campus housing. Now with many perks of course comes with a con that these sororities and fraternities often love that many of them participate in and they love to sweep under the rug “ hazing “.

           Hazing is being forced to perform strenuous often humiliating tasks. This often goes on while you are pledging to officially become a soro or frat member. It’s been around for ages and it seems to be very popular not only among Greek life but also amongst athletic teams, ROTC squads and even marching bands. It’s almost inhumane to me how something so beasty can be so popular and norm in today’s society, have we not learned that violence isn’t the answer? Hazing can be seen to create intimacy between the members and also preserve tradition, so why it is that it can become deathly? Hazing deaths have become more and more popular over the years and we’ve even had allegations of one recently. Bradley Doyley had fallen ill in late January due to unknown cause but a lot of people suspect it to be due to hazing, apparently Doyley consumed hazardous liquids but still his death isn’t due to hazing?

           While pledging it seems that it’s almost like your hanging your life on the line. You always hear about hazing and know there deathly but it just never seems apparent to you until it hits somewhere close to you or even home. This hazing tradition not only makes me question us as a society, but it disgust me. It disgust me that some of Greek life is even taking it that far, if you are  interested in someone becoming your new brother why would you want to kill someone? Even if unintentional, where are the boundaries? How do you even feel comfortable doing such a thing?

This is a very serious topic because a lot of people like to basically turn away at the sight of hazing. When people turn their head away at hazing, serious situations such as the death of Bradley. A lot of people come to college with intentions of joining a fraternity or a sorority but they do not believe that the hazing that they would have to go through is going to be intense. Young college students who come here alone want to join a fraternity or a sorority so they would not be alone but they do not know about the dangers of the joining process.

Global Warming

Global warming, a subject that seems to scare half of America when those words are said. Why is that? When Leonardo DiCaprio brought up the importance on how real global warming is during his acceptance speech at the Oscars it made me not only realize that most of America was going to be pissed off but to know that someone else also realizes the severity of this crises and that there needs to be actions taken. To educate those who is unfamiliar on what global warming is, it is the term used to describe a gradual increase in the average temperature of the Earth’s atmosphere and its oceans, a change that is believed to be permanently changing the Earth’s climate. Climate change is the greatest environmental threat in this time period. This means that our health, communities, economy and national security are now endangered. How do you explain the severe droughts in some parts of the country, the many hurricanes, floods, raging storms etc? There was an article I read that there was snow in Egypt… snow! That alone tells me that there is something going on with Earth’s climate. The climate of the Earth is a huge factor in how we get most of our resources… which is planting. Farmers are going to continue to struggle with the production of their crops. Without the proper climate, plants will continue to die and not grow appropriately. The Earth is overheating and glaciers are melting faster and faster in the artic. The rise of oceans is increasing which also means that our boarder states such as Florida, California, Texas and even New York City are getting smaller by the year! There are ways to help prevent the rapid heating of the Earth and the biggest suggestion I feel is solar power, which will work from the radiation of the sun. This can take away from the nuclear energy that is currently being used and coal and gas. Believe it or not, gas heats the earth. Although it may be a bit pricey but making a transition to only using electric cars will be beneficial due to the less production of gas. Maybe these could be some of the reasons that no one wants to talk about this, or maybe just the government. Making drastic changes to the world like that will only hurt the pockets of these big businesses and sadly the well-being of the world doesn’t matter. It would have to be some huge world crises to go on for anyone to actually take a stand on this. I’ve personally have been following the global warming movement for about 10 years now and within those 10 years it really has been a serious change and its happening fast. I do hope that whoever the next president will be (Not Trump), I hope that they will push the rest of the nation and hopefully the world to be more open to this crisis and actually begin taking steps towards making a difference.

I decided to pick this topic because I found this issue very important  being that these group of people sacrificed so much for us. I feel that it is time to wake up the congress, present president,America, and running presidents to meet the needs and fulfill the promises made to care for and treat Veterans. I think we need to pay attention to this because this is very heartbreaking. Or veterans who served having lack of help. Honestly we all say we care about America, the military, and the war veterans, but from the results giving, it does not seem like it. If you ask me it seem as if we have forgotten how to care for our veterans. When called to duty, to service America and its freedom, these men and women left their family, stood tall, fought the battle, and now when they are at their worst. The promise we gave them for when they return home for serving  their time we have broken. This is an outcast to all soldiers who have served. Many of our veterans are sick with PTSD and don’t get the proper care needed or they have no home so they ended up homeless and soon die. In January of 2014 identified 49,993 which represents 8.6 percent of the total homeless population. They have programs that will provide assistance for them in finding shelter called U.S Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), U.S Department of Housing, and Urban Development. But where are these programs when we see our soldier’s on the street with no place to live or in shelters? Where is the promise at that we gave? These soldiers stood by what they said, “ I ____, do solemnly swear (or affirm)that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same”. I ask you these questions because I want to know what you think about this outcast? Only a soldier can tell you want they faced over their the physical, mentally and emotionally they paid an gigantic price. The price our war veterans paid was dished out with blood, sweat and many tears. These events in their life they will never forget with scars left behind to remember the unforgettable.

I agree with you these veterans go overseas to risk their life, and when they return home people don’t always show them the respect that they deserve, and I also think that, every veteran should be well taken care of when they return home from battle. Because there are things that they probably saw over there in the war that is probably going to traumatize them every night, and on top of that some soldiers return home with missing limbs, and now they have to live the rest of their lives without certain parts of their body. On top of that, the feeling that nobody cares about what they fought for is crazy to me.

Voting

The presidential election goes all the way back to the year of 1788, all the way to now, and every four years as Americans we have the right to vote for who we want to be out voice of the country for that time period, until again the next election comes around. Every four years the same demographic can swing the vote in either direction, the age group responsible for the group is my age group the age group between the ages of eighteen, to twenty-nine.  Basically the young group, but the problem for the longest time was that my age group really didn’t care about voting too much, and in return, would miss out on choosing who you want to be your voice, or representative for your country. But in 2008 when President Barack Obama was elected at that time it was the highest number of voters ever for the age group between 18-29 year olds. That’s a good thing more people my age are caring about what is going on around them, and they want to have some form of input. But now in 2016 I feel like my age group really doesn’t really care about voting too much, and having a say in who runs the country. For example I was having a conservation with one of my roommates, and they didn’t even know who were the potential candidates up for elections coming up, except for trump, and he was like I might vote for him. But the thing is we spend most of ore time on our phone, or looking at T.V. and out of all of that time you don’t even know who is in the running for the presidency, for your country that you live in. The thing is that I hope he is just like one out of a million people who are this out of the loop, because if it’s millions of people like this, it could be a real problem come voting time, because you also get people who just vote, and really don’t know anything about what the person they want to vote for has in plan for them. It’s like sometimes you have to be aware of what is going on in the world, and not just what is going on in your life, because what’s going on in the world sometimes, might, or could have an impact on your personal life, or your work life as well. But not just my age group everybody should do their part when election time comes around.

Goals

For this week I wanted to talk about goals, goals are important, and it is something that drives you to get up every day, because sometimes as people we want things, but we don’t; know how to get there, and we just picture what it’s like when you finally reach your overall goal, but you always need a plan, as to how you will get there. What will it take for you to get there, and what will you have to sacrifice to get to your main goal because there is always going to be a sacrifice somewhere when you are trying to achieve something, possibly something great that you really care about, and something that you have a love for. Every day that you get up there is something that has to get done in order to achieve your goals, or there is little things. That you have to get accomplished no matter what. Also when trying to achieve goals there are steps, like mini goals that you have to get through, to get to your main goal at the end.

For example me every day I wake up immediately  I think of the things that In have to get accomplished, not only for the short term, but also for the long term, because I have long term goals that I eventually want to get accomplished .For example Graduate in the next year and a half , in order for that to be accomplished in that time period, I have to go to class, do all of my assignments , that might come up, and also keep everything in order, but sometimes that can also be hard. For example the long term goals that I have of course involve getting my degree, and also finding a job in the field of Computer Information Systems, something that I like doing. But to get to that picture that I have mapped out in my head, I have to keep my short term goals, or objectives in order to get to my main goal.   But sometimes as you get older some goals change, and you might have to adjust to what you now want, and how you are going to get there now. I’m only 21, and my goals have changed a lot, but every time I changed them I had to change the way I thought about the situation, and how I wanted to reach the new goal whatever it was that I now wanted to attain.

Football Players And Concussions

As a football player concussions are some of the worst type of injuries that you can have, because of lately the NFL, College Football, All the way down to youth football, have become a major issue for safety concerns.  Recently I watched the Movie called Concussion, and it was really an eye opener to how former players were having difficulties with everyday life, and how repeated hits to the head can really effect you as a person, and change your whole personality. For example Junior Seau I remember as a little kid watching him hit people, and when in 2012 he committed suicide, it just didn’t seem right, then Javon Belcher of the Kansas City Chiefs killing himself, and his Girlfriend.  Just the number of retired football players, or current player committing suicide just didn’t seem right, and then term CTE came out which meant chronic traumatic encephalopathy. Also you don’t have to play in the NFL for CTE to develop college players can get it also high school players from repetitive hits to the head. Also CTE can only be determined Post-Mortem, so the question is how to make football safer, and in my opinion you can’t, I mean there are things you can take out of the game to make it safer, but at the end of the day it’s football, and the only way for these things to not happen or take place, is too get rid of the game of football. As a football player, and fan I would never want to see that happen but something would have to be done so that the number of Concussions go down, and something that can potentially stop CTE from developing in past, and current players.

This picture, this quote, the mans expression, can all show the deep that this text is already going to have a deep meaning behind it. I’m glad i was able to see this and reblog this post because not only is the image meaningful but the quote that’s within the image means a lot and something that needs to be discussed in society and not brush off as another topic. This just brings up the attention that the way our country works with the “system” it has going on is something that everyone should question and think about not because a lot has happened in our history but because people like yourself question it and its a matter of who there to support you behind your curiosity and im thinking the same thing your think but just in a reblog.

I agree with your post, that this picture speaks many volumes, and has a deep meaning behind it, because I think that poster, and that man expression explains it all. The photo look’s kind of old, and a lot if injustices still take place today for Black people, Hispanics, and people of other minority races. I think that poster is 100% right the system that has been set up was never designed to protect people of African American Descent, or any other Minority race. A lot still has to change for all people of all races to feel 100% comfortable in this Country.

After reading the author’s blog, I would be interested in reading more blogs. I felt as if the author was talking directly to me, telling me a story about a situation that happened and him and family members. I can relate to the author because these are everyday things that happen with themselves and family that people don’t mention often. I also felt that the author definitely has a sense of humor which brings more people interested in the blogs. I love writings that brings humor. The fact that I can read and laugh about it in a positive way is great. I felt like I got an insight of who the writer is, which is very straight forward and “down to earth” and comedic.

After reading that story, it just sounded like an ordinary day just gone bad because, the day started with two people going to the gym, ending with your car inside a chicken store is funny to me, but at the same time somebody got to pay for all of these damages. If it was me would of probably would have wanted to leave the scene myself, but the consequences of you getting caught afterwards would probably be worse. I don’t know I thought the story was pretty funny to me but the only problem is who is paying for the damages, and leaving your family at the scene is type messed up.

Well it was an ordinary day for me that just took a whole 360-degree turn and ended bad. As I look back at the story now I see why it is hilarious. Well knowing that I had no input in the destruction of neither the car nor the chicken store. I was just an accessory which is still not good but better than being the actual culprit. To my knowledge the cost of the damages was not that much since the insurance covered a lot of the damages I believe. I could be wrong,I’m not sure. After the incident occurred, I kind of let it leave my mind because the events that happened should have never happened in the first place.

After rereading this story again it is still funny to me because how do you explain what happened to your mom, or like people in you r family who are going to ask what happened. If it was me I was just shrug my shoulders and be like I don’t know what happened either, also if the insurance covered most of the damages that’s cool because most company’s probably cover the cost of something like that. Like its life and sometimes crazy things happen in life that you simply just can’t control. But so far this story is type funny.
