I was commissioned by @hudsonsburgers to paint a small version of a famous mural in New York that was painted by the Brazilian artist Eduardo Kobra. His split-face style mural honors some of the musicians who tragically passed away at age 27. I painted this mural for @nasty_csa in 2020. I really like the idea of different elements of Hip Hop working together to promote the new album. Getting South African artists to collaborate is something that @mkayfrash does very well. I tattooed Turner and then a while later, his friend Denver, at Aunty Linda’s house in Lavender hill. I painted a Lavender Hill mural in their street. I painted these proteas @citybowlpark I wanted it to tie in to the tree trunk behind the wall. I was taking inspiration from @falko1graffiti ,he often uses the background in his murals. Thanks to @dallasafrica and @expressions_aufrichtig . The wall next to me in the one video was painted by @african_ginger @ellenalourens & @keyatama . I drew these proteas for a mural that didn’t work out. The google machine had this to say about the flower…..Leucospermum is a genus of evergreen upright, sometimes creeping shrubs that is assigned to the Proteaceae, with currently forty-eight known species. This illustration of ¥olandi Vi$$er that I made was referenced from a photograph that I took of her just after I hand-poked Chappie the chipmunk on her arm. @1xrun My uncle bought me a book printed in 1945, called Line Drawing For Reproduction. Right near the back on the second to last page is a scraper board illustration that was done by W.G. Easton. It is an image of a Fisherman in his full fishing outfit, ready for a storm. It's a superb piece of work that I keep near me whenever I draw in this style. I drew this from a reference that a client brought in. He had photoshopped a few images together, and then I made it into a consistent style. I like the look of images drawn for reproduction.
