Zebra Leaf
Plucked off one of my plants a few months ago.
A piece I (Tyler) made a while ago while exploring glitch art. Great inspiration for our typeface with the scanned distortion style.
Visual Research and Discussion
We have been looking at different styles of type that evoke a sense of change, in particular distortion. Carrying on from our previous ideas about plant anatomy and using elements of succulents within our typeface, we have began down a more abstract path, playing with form and shape rather than literal representations. This has less to do with the theme of plant anatomy but ties in with the idea of change. We hope that the final physical form of the typeface will echo plant anatomy.
