Luca Haas' 66 boyfriends (and counting)

This is the Luca Haas boyfriends masterpost which I will try my best to keep updated! Basically, this was born out of a desire to find out how many boyfriends we have invented for him. This is likely not complete, and always a work in progress, as I've mostly based it on the Luca Haas/Original Male Character tag on ao3 but I've noticed a few being tagged different, so if you find any boyfriends not included, slide into my dms or comment on the post with their name, link and description! If your OC is in this list and I've gotten something wrong, please also dm me with how you'd like your boyfriend to be described!

Now, I have not read all of these fics, and this is not a fic rec post. The boyfriends are listed in alphabetical order. This is also not a post or space to critique people's OC's or fics, just to celebrate the hivemind creativity of what a fandom can do with a minor character with what, ten spoken lines? I hope this post inspires everyone to give all these fics and boyfriends some love <3

The criteria for the boyfriends (and non binary partners) of Luca Haas to be included are as follows:

Not a named character from the Game Changers universe (i.e. Young, LaPointe, Cliff, Hollanov, or even Theo the Mascot Guy);

They must interact in the fic at least once OR be a central point of discussion/plot and not be a one off mention;

They must be the main pairing involving Luca (for example, boyfriends he breaks up with to be with hollanov are not included)

Endgame relationships only (not because I don't like slut era Luca, but I am defining boyfriend as a loving, long-term relationship. This also means this list excludes any abusive fuckers who don't deserve the title of boyfriend)

They must have a name. I know there are a few fics that are set up for Luca to have an OC boyfriend, but the OC has not been introduced yet; I will add them to the list when they are named!

Angelo Perez is a Filipino-Canadian youth MMA-fighter. Luca meets him at a summer event where they initially get off on the wrong foot, getting in a literal fistfight. Fic: Melt Down (go for it, luca haas!) by CHEQMATE

Anton Mikhailov is Luca's teammate on the Centaurs. He's Russian, plays defense, and has the honour of being the very first boyfriend in the Luca Haas/Original Male Character tag. Fic: it's a mirror by corsi.

Archie Lanes is a Korean-American actor and former k-pop idol, whose luggage gets mixed up with Luca's on the night before the draft. Fic: Downbad Olympics [series] by KoalaTeaBL

Archie Simmons is a model, originally from Portland, who has never watched a hockey game before Luca waltzed into his life at a 30 under 30 charity event. Fic: the secret society of stick handlers [series] by gurlsrool

Ash Holmberg is an artist struggling with depression. Also Holmberg's brother and on a mission to get the rookies to use anything but AXE and maybe clean the fridge every now and then. Fic: Instant Family [series] by stabthroughme

Ashton Wiebe is a former figure skater and coach Wiebe's nephew, who quit figure skating, and now coaches kids and comes to the rink to sketch. Fic: Melting the ice by HiroPride

Axel Anderson is a Swedish rookie on the Montreal Voyageurs, who comes out to assist in a search and rescue when Shane goes missing after a hike. Fic: Quiet Ways to Disappear by swede_89

Ben is an accounting student at the University of Ottawa and an old friend of LaPointe. Him and Luca get freaky to the tune of Hollanov banging next door. Fic: Voyeur by Babybuckybarnes

Blayne Stickner is the physical therapist for the Centaurs, and when we first meet him he is literally swept of his feet by Luca at a family skate. Fic: every kiss, it gets a little sweeter [series] by rachelrae

Bryce Lakeland went first in the draft the same year Luca went second, and gets traded to the Centaurs. He's originally from Texas and a farmboy at heart. Fic: Whenever You Smile by hyperfixated_2481

Cassiel Zaytsev is drafted first overall and winds up on the Centaurs with Luca, while the league wanted to set them up as rivals. He's part Russian and plays left wing. Fic: Where the Ice Breaks by DitzyDizzles

Thomas Loeffer is a skiier from Switzerland, but played hockey with Luca on Switzerland's U18 team before switching to ski cross. They get shipped on tumblr but they're literally already dating. Fic: Luca Haas, Tumblrina by adevyish
