Gemma Arterton looks fantastic in this robin's egg blue floor length gown at the 2014 Laurence Olivier Awards In London.
Tznius Grade: B+ Reason: Although it has long sleeves, a good length, and high neck, it's too form fitting over most of the body
Helen Mirren looks absolutely fantastic in this floor length green dress at the 2013 Premier for Red 2. Paired with understated coral jewelry and a gold clutch, she looks like modern royalty.

Although I'm really not a fan of the mustard yellow color, I think Julianne Moore looks fantastic in this bright and fun dress that she wore to the 2012 Emmy Awards. I love how the skirt flares out.

Not the most glamorous of dresses, Cameron Diaz still managed to look fun in this bold colored column dress that she wore to the 2014 American Museum of Natural History event. I might have added a belt or something just for a little interest.

Jaime King looks fabulous in this long red gown for the 2013 Art of Elysium black tie event. Paired with a simple hairstyle and understated jewelry, she looks sleek and sophisticated.
Tznius Grade: A Reasons: A bit form fitting in some areas
While this dress showed up on a bunch of "worst dressed" lists when Aubrey Plaza first wore it to the premier of her movie About Alex in 2014, I think it's beautiful and she looks absolutely fantastic in it. The contrasts of the purple and orange gradients within the pattern work beautifully together and while it may look good without the three white belt stripes, I happen to like the overall appearance.
Tznius Grade: A Reason: Sleeves a bit short and lack of stockings
Camilla Belle looked fantastic as she rocked this gorgeous boldly patterned dress to the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival.

Another bright, patterned number. Jaime King rocked this bold dress at a CW Network event in 2013.
Tznius Grade: A- Reason: The tulip hem comes quite a bit above the knee, and lack of stockings.
Jessica Paré looks lovely in this brightly colored floral dress. I've always loved that kind of teal color, especially accented with pink. I like that she chose a pair of black and white shoes instead of something brighter in color.

Melissa McCarthy looks absolutely stunning in this floor length black gown at the 2014 Emmys. The sparkles and poofy tulle add some whimsy and femininity to such a dark, stark color. This is totally the kind of dress I wanted to wear to my sister's wedding.
Tznius Grade: A+ Reason: High neck, long skirt, long sleeves, no cut outs.
In this beautiful long black dress, Lena Headey looks so strong and regal. The dress has light detailing all over which softens the dress just enough to add some sweet femininity to the over-all look.
Tznius Grade: A+ Reason: Long dress, high neck, long sleeves.
Tyra Banks is gorgeous in pretty much anything she wears, but she looks so lovely and elegant in this long black dress from the 2008 Glamour Woman of the Year Awards. Her hair also looks stunning.
Tznius Rating: A+ Reason: Well fitted, but not too tight, high neckline, long sleeves, long skirt.
Compared to her usual attire, Iggy Azalea wore this long black dress to the 2013 Brit Awards. It's simplicity, matched with her beautifully natural makeup and hair, works nicely.
Tznius Grade: A Reasons: It is a bit form fitting around the arms and from the waist down. Also, the peep toe shoes.
I can't be the only one who is absolutely in love with the way Adele looks here. Her hair and makeup are classic and the gown is just gorgeous. Simple and understated, but fabulous.
Tznius Grade: A+ Reason: High neck, long length, elbows covered, no cut outs
The beading on this dress worn by Alicia Vikander to the 2013 Oscars is gorgeous. She paired it with a belt that to me doesn't really fit perfectly with the look, but her hairstyle works beautifully.
Tznius Grade: B- Reason: Nude in color, it's almost impossible to tell where the lining of this dress starts and stops. This kind of “deception” is considered not tznius. The slight boat neck is also a problem.
Leighton Meester wore this light blue dress on the set of Gossip Girl. Paired with the leaf style headband, the whole look is quite dated and breathtaking.
Tznius Grade: B Reason: Unless there's back lighting, it's hard to tell if the dress is fully lined. And even with the backlighting, it's hard to tell if the sleeves are lined. This kind of "deception" is considered not tznius. The boat neck is also a problem.
