CW; this webcomic will be heavily based on meatcore and surrealist aesthetics and will handle medical topics, body horror and gore.
UNREST (or un-rest) is a webcomic written and drawn by HEARTWARE based on my own experiences with hospital care and my interest in meatcore, surrealism, body horror and more!
The comic will follow the (attempted) treatment of people in inpatient care and their ongoing deterioration; the comic itself will be a mix of slice-of-life and chronological lore stuff! :-)
I have been working on this story since April 9th of 2023, and I am glad to celebrate its 3 year anniversary with this👀

um. sorry for the lack of proper updates and panels haha im. very busy. i just moved back home about a week ago and now i have to move over to my sisters because my parents are both gonna be hospitalized 🥹
we also dont know ehat to do with our cats. they rely on me a lot and are. extremely shy. the sister of mine im going to has a cat that. doesnt do well with other cats. and my other sister has an 8 year old that cant properly handle animals. so. gulp
also my dad is. scarily close to dying. um. just a heads up🥹 everything will be paused or take a while, if anything ill post any comic-related art as fillers and stress relief whenever i have something to share, like i did the last few weeks
