what kind of art studies do you do? :oo just curious how you practice!

I like to reference images of moving people! As much as possible, the whole body, and not just from the waist. It’s also cool to look at images of people in idle/resting positions.

I always pay attention to the length of the limbs like for example, a body is in a fetal position, is their thigh as long as their torso? Is their bicep the same height as their head? It helps me especially when the body in exaggerated movement, like when they’re dancing, fighting, exercising.

For me though I specifically studied basketball players a lot, they are buff but lean so the individual parts of their muscles are distinguishable.
