Yesterday, I was in Oshogbo. I was in the company of a good friend. We left Lagos at about 10 minutes before 6am and by 9am, we were live at the state capital of Osun state. _ It was a smooth journey till we got to Ogere, a famous trailer spot. The road around there is bumpy, driving through, a truck drove towards us on a one way at top speed, unbothered about cars who had the right of way! With careful calculation, we were able to avoid the trailer😞 _ In no time, our mission was accomplished. At 1pm, we head back to Lagos. However, we did a quick stop at “Amala Skye Bank” at Ibadan 🙈 Ever heard of the restaurant? Gosh! I was stuck from the very day I tasted their egusi stew and goat meat😩😁 _ Because of timing, we had to buy the food as take away. By 3pm, we were on our way to Lagos. Jeez! The smell of the food won’t let me😩 I just kept salivating🙈 imagining how I would devour the goat meat and pounded yam😂 when I get home😁 _ As fast as possible, few minutes before 5pm, we were around Ojota. Guys!😞 you won’t believe we spent close to two hours in traffic between Ojota and Maryland😞 _ People say it but I never experienced it till yesterday😂 A ride of 10minutes could take two hours..... My last post on #lasisielenu reminded me of a rider I met last year. _ Tall, slim and light complexioned. She could pass for a #khloékadeshian Her English accent though, had some Nigerian pronunciation factor. Well, what do I know than to drive and earn🤷🏽‍♀️ _ From our conversation, she had requested #Uber an hour earlier but the driver assured her he was close by. After a long wait and several calls, a lady suggested and requested Taxify for her and I, happened to be the driver😁 _ It was a rainy day, she was at #Orangedrug company for a job interview. Her destination was Ajao Estate along the airport road. We arrived at her house, I asked if I should end the trip, no she murmured. She asked me to honk to alert the gateman. _ After 5minutes of waiting, she called her younger brother to get the gate, While I drove in, I asked if I could end the trip, she said no🙄 What’s going on? _ It’s almost 8pm, after loads of stories about Ajao Estate, I wondered.... God! I hope I am not some kind of bait for rituals or robbery? I demanded, where to drive to? Oh, there is a driveway round the house😒 Just follow the path, She made me stop at her doorstep. If it were possible, she would have asked me to drive her to her bedroom 😂 _ Honestly, that didn’t even bother me. What got me pissed was the driveway. It was so narrow that I scratched my car while turning round the house😞 The fence had a Texcote painting😩 _ Just imagine the kind of damage😢 She got off the car with her six inch heels leaping like a Kangaroo😁 _ In my mind, I wondered🤔 Who sent her?
