“God, the sun is out today, huh?” Candice shielded her eyes with her hand as she looked up to the clear blue sky of Korea. She was hanging out with Chihiro at the beach. With a chuckle, the blonde headed woman tossed the girl a bottle of sunscreen. “You’re gonna need that.” she smiled before shaking out her beach towel and laying it down on the warm white sand. “Oh boy,” she sighed lying back with her hands behind her head, “now this is life.” She laughed to herself, looking towards Chihiro. Candice reached her hand into her beach bag and took out a pair of shades. “Isn’t?” she asked placing them on and then pushing them up against her nose. “

Chihiro breathe in the salty scent of the sea. It always calmed her nerves hearing the waves splashing wildly against the sand and the echoing laughter of the other beach goers.

“I know right. The weather’s finally cooperating with us.” She replied, wiggling her toes and stretching her arms up in the air with a sigh. Dropping her beach bag on the sand, she gave the other a brief glance and clumsily caught the sun screen she tossed.

“Hey! Watch it!” She laughed finally settling herself on her own towel, carefully opening the bottle and pouring an ample amount her palm and spreading it on her skin. “This is the perfect time to get some tan, isn’t it? This is life!”

Seeing the other was busy basking herself under the sun’s rays, Chihiro’s lips twitched into a cheeky smile and quietly crawled to the other’s towel.

“Oh Candice! You should put some too or you might get cooked!” She giggled, playfully swiping her index finger dipped with sunscreen on the girl’s nose and picking herself up to run towards the sea.

Candice lied there on her towel, completely content. It was a good while before could enjoy herself like this. Candice closed, drifting away without a care in the world. The world around her suddenly became muted. Well that is until Chihiro, her very energetic companion, awakened her.

“Good lord!” her eyes flew open and stood to her feet in a flash. “Oh Chihiro.” Candice pursed her lips as she smudged in the sunscreen that was at the tip of her nose. She couldn’t help, but laugh herself. “I’m gonna get you!” running after the girl, along the way, Candice picked up a bucket filled with sea water. 

“Ahha!” she laughed dumping the bucket of water on to the other’s head. “Conceder yourself gotten!” she tossed the now empty bucket on to the dry sand before tumbling her full body into the cool water. She dragged her fingers across the sand, feeling every aspect of it. Closing her eyes once more, Candice took a deep breath in and evenly let the air out. “I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed myself like this.” She lips painted into a wide grin, giving Chihiro splash.
