Every single moment I'm like huh I've been distracting myself for too long let's pay attention for a bit. It ends up being a bad idea. I should just live my life half focusing on some documentary 24/7
I'm doing emdr about it, I just can't tell if it's working because it's december -_-

Rob Evans
“Master lapidary Dalan Hargrave came from fairly humble beginnings. After studying goldsmithing and metal work, he began his career in 1976 focusing on jewelry repairs. He eventually moved onto some light manufacturing and mold making, but it wasn’t until 1998 that he found his true passion – gem cutting. Hargrave has since developed a number of signature gemstone cuts which are exclusively his including starlight cuts, Spirographix cuts, compound concave cuts, and his Celestial City carvings like the 3D illusion gem above.”

welcome to my puddle of water themed birthday
The process of clearing out my hoarder dad's attic is taking so fucking long because I keep getting overwhelmed and my dad gets even more overwhelmed. It's hard to keep at it because the progress is barely visible.. I want to make a corner into a retro console and vhs watching spot. But there's So Much Stuff in the way
I'm so glad I got a hold of my own hoarding tendencies

A very unusual mid-Victorian reliquary pendant with an intricately assembled nativity scene with carved bone figures and animals against a painted background. The reverse side has a glazed compartment containing a tattered piece of blue fabric-- possibly some sort of relic. Very large at 3.25 x 2.5 inches and built in gilt bronze.
