Another one! This one is more focused on playing with colours and exploring illustration ideas I had in my head hueheh. This one so happens to be inspired by "Beautiful Dreamer", which played in the church of Riko's school!

Particularly inspired by this version, the haunting melody as well as the ocean themes really struck me as I'm reminded of Riko's fascination with the aquarium. Originally, I wanted to make 3 illustrations from this idea, but I thought this one conveyed the story I was trying to tell the best out of all my sketches (and also I'm too lazy to do more than one for today lmao- so maybe another time)

Overall, I'm really proud with how this turned out. While not exactly, it did get the idea I had in my head across pretty well, and I loved how the colours turned out 👀 Also the water was certainly an endeavor,, but I finally wrangled it to be somewhat presentable asjkdhak
