A piece of praise for Aikatsu!

one thing that I especially loved in the original anime that gave the characters a more authentic and sweet air to them was the use of giving them different casual clothes for them to wear!

in most cartoons or even shows I have watched, the main characters never change their clothes. It’s always their same outfit for everything. Don’t even get my started. But OG Aikatsu changed that reality for me in an instant. All the girls have multiple pieces of clothing, all in a way establishing either their personalities, interests, comforts, or culture (think about Juri, Miyabi and so on.)

it’s genuinely a huge fresh breath of air, and it has definitely made my viewing experience more heartwarming.

as an example, the Soilel girls all have individual styles for their casual clothes which really shows their personality and personal preferences!:

Just by looking at these three instances for each character, you can see their differences and unique qualities that reveal more about the characters in a visual manner! While I may be overselling this, I still find the whole detail and depth that was put into the series, especially with the outfits go be amazing. There is more I can add, but I’ll save that for another post.

So Aikatsu Academy is stoping streaming activities next month but apparently Helianthe will continue(?)... i really want to know what's gonna happen with the Aikatsu franchise now, cause it seems that Bandai has zero intentions to do a new anime series revival, i don't know... i hope it doesn't die.

Aikatsu Sprouts Age Of Fantasia Part 4:FINALE

The finale of Aikatsu Sprouts concludes the rivalry and Imani.

At the start of this season, Imani was a perfect angel, and the older holder of the mysterious living coord. But as more idols gained Fantasia cards, she was pushed to advance, imbuing a human soul into clothing. That soul became became the Divine Sky Coord.

Once worn, the outfit takes control of Imani's body, requiring all the girls to come together and save her.

Maki's own Fantasia coord is the Clover Coronation Coord. A recognition of her own worth and ability to lead. Maki won her school's Star Princess Cup, only to be upstaged by Imani, a new and intimidating rival. I've drawn Maki a lot so I made her look a bit more solid for this render.
