This is a second and alternative account for @angels-on-the-skeld. This blog is NOT CANON to that blog and takes place after Act II started. All characters are the same as on the main blog, and, stressing this again, this is not canon. This is moreso an alternate universe where Shade's machine to attempt to hear the askers opened up a multiversal portal, and this universe will make even less sense than the original.

After Shade's device they made in an attempt to hear the askers exploded, instead of making all of UHOH property able to hear askers, changed the universe itself to be able to communicate with other universes... or something. IDK, man, this is just a non-canon RP blog for @angels-on-the-skeld 'cause I wanted one. Some RP things might even take place before Act II. The joys of non-canon means I can make the most insane bullcrap up and nobody can question it. Some roleplays may even be in the extra different timeline I decided Shade was, in fact, a Phantom. Who knows?

If you want me to send a starter

I am open to new RPs at any time.

I am an anxious person so I might be hesitant to start them myself, hence why I have the "if you want a starter" post.

As for this blog itself? This can also function as just non-canon Angels On The Skeld stuff. You can send in M!As if you want, and Ghost Asker Mode is always enabled.

Rules:

IF YOU START A RP WITH ME, make it clear when in the timeline you intend to send it to, and who you're wanting to interact with. You are free to interact with anyone in the crew at any time after Blue was saved from death.

If you wish, you can interact with my Ghost OCs while they're alive, just make it clear.

You choose how you want to communicate with them, just read the rest of the rules first.

Ghost Asker Mode is always enabled, you can interact with anything ghosts can interact with in vanilla Among Us, which is anything to do with tasks from any map. For example: Because of the task where you fry fish in The Fungle, you must be able to touch and carry the fish to the cooking spot somehow, thus, you can pet Heracles because they are a fish. If it is disabled, only the ghosts on the blog can do that, but you can pester them to do it for you. I do wish you do give reasoning as to why you may be able to interact with specific things, and I am allowed to reject it even if Ghost Asker Mode is enabled.

If you ever see me accidentally use an incorrect pronoun, please kindly correct me. My brain automatically assumes gender based off of voice and appearance, and it is a hard habit to break. Also, because of this, I have a greater chance of missing a misgender in an ask. All the crewmates use they/them, and I am fully aware of this, I am only human, though. Mistakes happen. If you forgive the mistakes I may made, I will forgive the mistakes you may make.

With this being a Roleplay blog, it's inevitable I find a blog with shipping. I've lightened up my opinions on shipping because I've had time to get used to them, but don't send asks trying to force me to do ships. I don't think I've ever felt romantic feelings in my life so I wouldn't be any good at writing it anyway XD

Do not bring in anything Political or True Religious onto this blog. Those are stress triggers for me. The furthest you can bring up for the latter is Heaven and Hell. Also no ghost-communication-board things I will not name drop. They make me highly uncomfortable

I, as a person, do not like to curse. I might still sometimes, but most of the time, it will be censored spamton-style(So instead of "Hell" there's "[Heck]". The characters still hear themselves as swearing.). Do not make fun of me because of it, it has happened in the past.

A portal opens, and a tan crewmate who looks almost like a pirate is spat out. The portal closes before they have time to jump back through. The crewmate is very shaken.

"Hello?!" the tan crewmate calls out. "Where the [frick] am I?"

(The original starter I sent that or some reason didn't send had a bit more context but I feel like it'll be better if I just have my guy explain it when somebody finds them)

*they had appeard in T.ws office and she just stares from her desk then squints he looked half asleep*

The tan crewmate snaps their attention to T.w. "Hello???" They say, grabbing their necklace, which has a weird looking piece of metal attached to it. "I'm not fake! Are you fake? Where am I?" they pat their backpack and take out a... plastic cutlass. "[Dang] it... not the real one."

They were working on a device from Blueprints we stole from MIRA, and suddenly it opened a portal and I'm here! Please call me Buckler..." they grasp tighter onto their necklace, huffing out of panic. Holding their necklace seems to be helping them stay calm, if only slightly.

(BTW, how dark in the void ship? I realize that's something I probably shoulda asked because my guy is gonna be reasonably scared of the dark)

Yeah sorry about that. It hadn't occurred to me until afterwards that I should've added a caesar cipher at the end so that the vigenere couldn't be brute forced and would actually need the key.

Update: I re-solved my own puzzle. I did do a singular typo that I have now fixed. It should not affect you in any way, however. Once you solve it, it should be obvious what the typo was.

Now that it's been 10 hours, here's how to solve it

Step one: Translate the Wingdings

Step two: Break the letters down into threes. The number of strokes each letter has correlates to a number. So O is 0, I is 1, T is 2, N is 3, W is 4.

Step three: The groups of three together should make a number in Base 5. For example, OTT is 022. Turning 022 into base 10 from base 5 makes it 12. The 12th letter of the alphabet is L. OTT = L.

Step four: It tells you the code word and gives you a string of letters. It's a Vigenère cipher from there

Step five: Congratulations, you won!

For Step Three, I used a cheat sheet to even put it into that cipher in the first place. That's how I accidentally typed an OOT instead of an OTT. I'm putting the cheat sheet under the cut.
