Word to the Bechloe fandom: I know it’s disappointing that Bechloe was eliminated from the AfterEllen tournament, but ya know what? We kicked ass.
When I first learned that SQ was going head-to-head with Bechloe, I thought we didn’t stand a chance. They are the reigning champs, after all, and take a look at AO3 and ff.net – nearly 4x more SQ fics than Bechloe. So, the fact that we were able to put up a fight, and even trade leads several times, is AMAZING. We are sailing a surprisingly formidable ship.
So, congrats to Swan Queen, but also be proud, Aca-Bitches. We did well. Now, HANDS IN.
