Chapter 3 / freetime.

Amelie didn’t feel like doing much at this point, things were going terribly, people were dying, others killing, it was a horrendous situation she wanted no part of, so she tried to distance herself from the others by staying in the older parts of the parks as apposed to the newly open part, rather enjoying the secludedness until she heard someone call out to her from behind, she scowled for a moment before turning around with a smile and waving,

“hello!”, she would just have to fake happiness for now.

Fake happiness? Puh-lease! Holly was here now, it was time for real happiness to shine through! 

Holly smiled widely at Amelie, walking over to her and lacing her fingers through the other girls. She was glad to have found someone like Amelie in this place, even if everything else here was dull.

Shook // OPEN // Chapter 3

After that trial, Bea was kinda shook. She liked Sydney, she was nice to her, and seeing her body like that was certainly alarming. She hadn’t ever had a conversation with Alyse, so her opinion on her was just the bad connotations she got from the others. Ugh, they’re down to 13 people… that’s just… Insane.

To get her mind off of all of this, she decided to maybe check out the new area, and found herself at the show stage. It wasn’t anything too special, but it was nice to check out. She turned to leave when she saw someone standing behind her,

“Oh, hello! How are you, after everything?”

Oh it was Bea! Here was someone she actually enjoyed being around! Though, now probably wasn’t the best time to be cheerful, after all, people had just “died”. 

“I’m.. Well, I’m as good as one can be, I suppose, considering. How’re you holding up”

She hoped she was doing well. She possibly cared for Bea. Slightly.

Is there even a point to it anymore? /Chapter 3/ OPEN

Everything was happening so quickly.. his heart ached and it felt like nothing even mattered anymore. Sydney, the person he cared for the most.. the one he wanted to spend forever with was dead. He tried to think that maybe an upside to everything was that Alyse died.. but at the cost of Sydney dying, it wasn’t even worth it.. damnit all.

Zain broke off from the group and went to his room. He unlocked the door and went into his room leaving the door cracked. Zain then took the polaroid picture he had of Sydney and him out of his pocket and placed it on his bed. They looked so happy in it.. smiling and not worrying about anything… He hiccuped trying to hold back tears just looking at it. Damnit grow a backbone Zain…

He glanced over at the acoustic guitar sitting in the corner and decided to pick it up. Zain then sat on the bed with it and began to play a sad tune and sing softly in french. The song was along the lines of getting over a loved one and trying to keep happy while they are not with them anymore. While singing he began to cry.

A knock was heard on his door and he quickly whipped his tears away to act like he wasn’t crying. “W-who is it? What do you want..”

Holly gently pushed the door open and let herself into the room. Fake as that whole execution thing was, she realised that pretty much everyone now was buying into it, so she felt sorry for Zain, “losing” someone like that.

Not that she didn’t see it coming a mile off. It was the most obvious thing that was going to happen. But still.

She hovered “nervously” in the doorway, offering him a small smile and a wave.

“Hey.. Can I come in?”

Tequila Sunrise/Chapter 3/Open

Jed felt like shit.

It wasn’t suprising, since he’d had about 5 glasses of spiked punch, which as it turned out, was spiked with vodka. He was a light weight, so why he chose to continue drinking it after he knew it was spiked was beyond him.

He was now looking for something to eat, nursing one hell of a headache. God, what had even happened. He remembers passing out for a little while after the….The trial? Yeah, the trial. He can hardly remember any of it, it’s all a blur. He’s pretty sure he insulted Veir…now he’s gonna have to apologize, fuck. He’ll never touch alcohol around people again.

It’s as he’s wandering that he bumps into soneone. Dammit, he kinda wanted to avoid people until this headache went away….

“O-oh hey! Sorry, didn’t see ya….”

Holly was about to be pissed, but upon realising it was Jed, her temper cooled off slightly. She wasn’t too pleased that he’d stuck up for Yuichi in the trial, but she liked him so-

“You.. You look kind of.. Yeah you look pretty rough Jeddy Bear.. How’re you holding up?”

3. - Happy, Free, Confused and Lonely In The Best Way

Holly was absolutely baffled by the weirdos in this place. Motherfucker “stabs” a girl and that’s a-okay? Holly didn’t have the cleanest of pasts, but at least she had the good decency to hide that shit, and to be disgusted when other people fucked up. 

Everyone in this place was absolutely crazy, why was she the only sane one here?

She headed over to the swings and sat on them absentmindedly. She couldn’t wait for this lame-ass show to finish so she could get back to her actual life. She missed her career.

“I’m sure it’s fine, Holly-san. As long as you haven’t broken any rules or gave reason to be a target, no one will hurt you.” Or whatever. Maybe someone will. It wouldn’t affect Yuichi either way.

“They were just dumb, and broke a rule.”

“I.. I don’t think anyone would want to hurt me but.. But you never know with people..”

Holly looked up at Yuichi, with wide-puppydog eyes. She knew she’d not pissed anyone off, that was her entire objective in this place. If she was going to win she would need to be friends with everyone and she knew it.

Hopefully her disgusting simpering was warming the boy to her, because it was irritating her to death.

Holy fuck that was some AMAZING acting there by Kian! It looked like they was really dead! This was such a well set up scene, Holly was beyond impressed with the whole thing. Though it wouldn’t do to ruin the whole thing for everyone else.

“Well.. At least you were kind of prepared for it? And it seems to have gone down well, no one seemed phased in the slightest!”

She smiled at the girl. She wasn’t very well versed in these sort of issues, so she genuinely hoped she was saying the right sort of thing.

Holly sighed. This place was so dull. There were only so many rides you could go on before getting sick of it all. Couldn’t they have filmed this thing at some sort of beach resort?

“Oh thank goodness! I was afraid people would start treating me differently. I’m glad to see that’s not the case.”

Carmen sighed in relief, that was a huge weight off her shoulders. One less thing to worry about in this crazy place.

“I don’t really know what came over me, I just…said it.”

“Well, you’re a lot braver than most of the people that I know around Hollywood! Honestly, I wouldn’t even worry about people treating you differently. If they’ve got a problem with your biology, then you just know that they’re the kind of ridiculous loser that you don’t need in your life!”

Holly grinned widely at the girl. She legitimately couldn’t see why anyone would have an issue with someone because of their biology. Sure, hate away if they’re an asshole, or if they’re dull, or if they won’t look after their body appropriately, but just for their biology? That would be pathetic.

“Come on, shall we go hang out somewhere?”

Carmen was slightly startled by what Holly said. Brave? She never really considered herself brave. She guessed since being trans is still seen as pretty taboo to some people, it could be considered brave? Holly was right though, Carmen shouldn’t deal with people who has a problem with who she is.

“Thank you, I needed that. And alright! Where do you want to go?”

Holly’s brow furrowed for a few moments, as she tried to think of somewhere fun for them to go to.

She sighed in relief to find that Holly was feeling fine and not distraught, so she smiled and pulled the girls hands over to her and kissed Hollys hands first,

“If you need to talk at any point, I will be here for you, always and forever, by your side”, Amelie kisses her hands again.

Dear lord, Amelie made Holly feel like she’d missed out on so much of life. Every single touch was electric, and she felt like she would never be able to get enough of her.

But, Holly had some semblance of tact, and knew that someone had just “died” so now wasn’t the most appropriate time for hardcore flirting.

“Shall we go somewhere, beautiful? No point in sitting here, wallowing in our sadness all day, right?”

Amelie let out a soft laugh before she stood up, keeping hold of the girls hands as she pulled her up,

“We should! They just opened up a bunch of new rides, we should both go look around~ It’ll be fun, maybe they’ll have some fun fast rides, hehe”

Holly let out a happy sigh as she was pulled up. This place may be fake as fuck and annoying as all hell, but at least there was one good thing to come out of it all.

“I.. I actually noticed a ride I wanted to check out with you while I was looking around earlier, if you’re interested?”

Holly stared at Zain for a moment. God damn, was he really that dumb? She thought the dumb white person thing was just a stereotype in the horror movies she acted in, but no, here he was, being a complete idiot.

“Talk to her?”

She gestured towards his horrifically burnt arm, lifting it slightly up towards his face.

“How well did that go last time? She burnt your arm. Thats.. A pretty big deal Zain..”

Zain sighed and looked away from Holly. Its not like he can do much in this situation anyway. Him getting hurt is the only way he can keep others he cares about safe. And if being burned is what it will take. Then so be it.

“I know. But staying clear of her wont exactly work. Im just.. lost. Im not sure what i can do.”

“Listen, Zain I.. I’ve dealt with her type before, we see it a lot in Hollywood. Stalkers. And Alyse? She’s a cut above the rest. She’s hurt you! You’re her “love” and she’s already injured you for not being with her!”

Holly gave a small sigh, and leaned in a little closer, lowering her voice to increase the atmosphere of the situation.

“The way I see it, there’s only a few ways this whole thing can go. You can go and try and talk to her, and she’ll hurt you again, or lock you up, if you reject her! You could carry on sneaking around and ignoring her, which would work for a time. But this place is only so big, and there are only so many hiding places, and I imagine that both you and Sydney would be punished for that. You could leave Sydney and accept that making out with stalker-girl for the rest of your days is fate. You wouldn’t like it but, you and Sydney would both be safe. Or…”

Holly pulled a :/ face, before continuing.

“Or you could take drastic action against her..”

“Woah woah woah… i cant take it that far.” He shook his head, crossing his arms and sighing. Fuck but why is she right… the only reason Alyse is so crazy is because of him liking Sydney.. but.. why break something that can… somehow be fixed?? He thinks..

“I feel like if i leave Sydney.. id let Alyse win. And id rather not do that.”

“What you’ve got to consider is, what battles are worth winning? Is “beating” Alyse worth the danger it might put you and Sydney both in? Sure, losing isn’t the most fun thing, but.. Well, there’s a saying if you’re stubborn on an issue. It’s called “Picking which hill to die on” and if you pick this particular hill to die on then.. Well the phrase might become a bit more literal than you might like..”

“So.. are you saying that i should leave Sydney to keep her save?”

Could he even do that right now? Zain hasn’t had someone he truly cared about so deeply in his life for a long time now. So just straight up leaving Sydney and trying not to be around her, just mentally hurt him?

In this shitty situation everyone is in, its nice to have someone like her here to really calm him down and make this place a little less shitty. But he’d do anything for her.. and if.. leaving her.. really helped him.. then he just might have to?

Alyse raised her eyebrow at the location of choice, why the tunnel of love? Well, it is more private, so… She’ll let herself go along with this.

At the question, Alyse thougut about how to reply. Should she act innocent… well, if she knows about it, one of them must have told her. God damn it. That fucking whore. Still, she probably doesn’t know it all. So, she’ll put on her convincing ass act.
